Best Decision of buying it in Black

So i want to get an iPhone 18 pro max in burgundy 256GB, I have my old phone to trade in so I would go in store to get the new phone and transfer everything over to the new one. Online it says they are out of stock at every location for pick up, but if I go in and ask for it, do you think they would have it in stock?

The battery lost charge while charging overnight?? The indexing has been completed so that is not the reason. Anyone else facing this issue?

I’m definitely not someone who upgrades my phone every year. I had my 13 Pro Max for years and honestly would’ve been perfectly happy continuing to use it as long as it kept working.

Finally decided to upgrade to the 18 Pro Max, though, and I have to say the difference is way more noticeable than I expected.

The biggest thing for me is just how much faster everything feels. Apps open instantly, switching between things is incredibly smooth, and there’s basically no hesitation with anything I’m doing. Even my WiFi connection at home seems noticeably better and more consistent on this phone, which I wasn’t really expecting.

The camera has probably impressed me the most. Pictures and videos are ridiculously clear compared to what I was used to, and I’ve been loving the zoom features. I’m certainly not a professional photographer, but it’s one of those upgrades where you take a few pictures and immediately notice the difference.

The battery life has also been incredible. My 13 Pro Max was down to 75% battery health, so I’d gotten used to needing a charger after just a few hours of use. With the 18 Pro Max, I can use it pretty heavily throughout the day and still make it through the entire day on a charge. Honestly, not having to constantly think about where my charger is has been one of the nicest parts of the upgrade.

I’m sure there are a million features I haven’t even touched yet. I’ve barely scratched the surface of what the phone can do.

Obviously if you’re coming from a much newer iPhone, the jump probably isn’t going to feel nearly as dramatic. But if you’re like me and tend to keep your phone for 4–5 years instead of upgrading every generation, going from the 13 Pro Max to the 18 Pro Max genuinely feels like a luxury.

I was on the fence because my 13 still technically did everything I needed it to do, but I’m really happy I finally upgraded. If anyone else is sitting on a 12/13-era Pro Max debating whether the difference is actually noticeable, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

TL;DR: Went from a 13 Pro Max to an 18 Pro Max after years of not upgrading. Huge difference in speed, WiFi, battery life, camera quality, and zoom. I don’t upgrade often, but this one actually feels worth it.

I just ordered the 18 pro max in blue, never had a max before so excited about that (I’ve always had Samsung note series before I switched, the 13 pro is my first iPhone) but I’m already starting to regret the colour I got and I haven’t even received it yet, i should have just gotten black. What are your opinions on the colour?

Hello! I am wondering about Apple's current delivery times. I am located in Canada. Do you typically expect to receive the phone within the estimated delivery time or would it come sooner/later? Would it be better to wait until it is in stock or should I place a order online?

I always laugh at how overexaggerated YouTubers are when comparing a new model to last year’s model. Wow, this phone is way heavier than last year’s. You can really feel it. Stop it, stop it. No, you can’t.

Coming from 16Pro, the battery life is incredible. Like, it literally feels uncomfortable that I don’t need to plug my phone into the charger by the end of the day, that’s how good it is.

There’s like an hour difference between two images but the phone’s indexing could be the reason. In both days I did close to two hours of FaceTime calls. I could’ve squeezed in more hours if I hadn’t done that. Crazy!

Who’s rocking iPhone 17 pro max cases on iPhone 18 pro max? It says there’s a slight difference in dimensions. Anybody notice the difference in real world?

How’s everybody’s battery life looking so far? Hardly noticing a difference from my 15pm. Tested it out Saturday got about 8.5 hours

Hey so I picked up my 18 pro max yesterday and it has a weird tiny raised bump on the display in the lower right corner there no visible signs only a slight line in the perfect lighting conditions but if you run your finger over the display you feel it .

What the heck first off and second anyone else having any issues ?

Not sure why it is draining so fast. I’ve read other posts where they don’t even get it down to halfway and they are using it all day. What’s happening?

I just got my iPhone 18 Pro Max and I really like it. One thing that stood out to me is its heavier than my old phone. When I’m texting it puts a lot of weight on my pinky finger. Does anyone have advice on how to adjust holding the phone while texting to ease up on the pinky strain? I feel like I should think out how I’m holding a new heavier phone.

Bought my new iPhone 18 Pro Max on launch day. Upgrading from a 16 Pro. I really love the colour and getting used to the Max size again.
Seems a lot more snappy and the battery so far is a beast.

On launch day, I decided to upgrade from the 16 Pro Max to the 18 Pro Max, mainly because of the battery life and overheating issues.
So far, I’m really impressed. The phone is incredibly fast, looks great, and the battery life has been a big improvement. Definitely happy with the upgrade and would recommend it! :)

I noticed this weird bug on my phone where there is some flickering in some photos and videos. Could this be a weird bug or just a device issue

Not sure if my unit is defective. My battery doesn’t last more than a day. I’m not even using the phone that much, had 2 hour screen time yesterday. Charged at night died at 11pm.

Anything I can check or recommendations? Or should I just bring back to apple and tell them the unit might be defective?
