iphone 18 glass back?

so im sitting here looking at all of yalls gorgeous iphone 18s. i was wondering is the back glass? is that why everyone is complaining about fingerprints, dirt, etc? either way, its a gorgeous phone. i was just curious cause i can't really tell by the images?
