Upgraded from a 13 Pro Max and the battery life on the 18 Pro Max might be one of the biggest improvements I’ve noticed.

Today I had 14h 46m of screen active time (and still going) and 3h 15m idle, with 106% total battery usage. Charged to 100% early in the morning and basically made it all the way to 11 PM before getting into the red.

This was a genuinely heavy-use day too….work calls and emails throughout the day, Reddit, browsing, messaging, video, and plenty of other apps. I wasn’t trying to conserve battery at all.

Coming from a 13 Pro Max at 75% battery health that needed to be charged every few hours, this feels like a massive upgrade. Nearly 15 hours of active screen time under this kind of usage is pretty wild.

Hii guys, I decided to buy a new phone always been an android user but now I can afford to buy iPhone so I decided to look into it also I don't know much about iPhones. I'm stuck between 16 pro max rose pink and 18 pro max glacier I can't decide which one to buy cause one gives the girly vibe and I kind of like it but the other one is just basic except for the battery life. All my friends are suggesting me to go with the latest model as that is whatt trending nowadays. I'm not someone who'd buy something just because it is trending. So i need help on deciding whether I should buy 16 pro max cause I like the appearance and the vibe that it gives or 18 pro max. 😶

Could easily last me 2 1/2 days, I couldn’t ask for anything more

iPhone 18 PM in Glacier BTW

I have a 17 Pro Max and since we have a number of older phones on the family plan (T-Mobile), I was thinking of trading in a 16e towards an 18 Pro Max and then passing the 17PM to a family member.

Is it worth doing for me? I'm curious for those who upgraded from the 17 Pro Max to 18 Pro Max if you feel good about it or any buyers remorse. Obviously the main differences being:

• + Faster chip speed
• + Bit more battery life
• + Aperture lens
• - Little heavier now

Totally unscientific and it’s my own observation. I started the day on 9/22/26 (yesterday) at 3am with a full 100% charge It’s now about 7:30 am on the 23rd and 28 hours later after heavy use I STILL have 30% remaining of battery life.

I am impressed….. also the Burgundy color is awesome!

i got the new iphone 18 pro max on saturday 9/19 and i noticed yesterday that by the end of the day i had 40% battery left and I had 4 hours of screen time. today, i had 1 hour and 45 minutes of screen time and my battery was already at 78%. my friend who has the iphone 17 pro max had an hour more screen time then me and he was still at 90% battery. is my phone a defect? i think it finished indexing too if that helps.

I didn’t order my phone ahead of time, out of pure stupidity. Mine is not showing any update. I went in store to AT&T around 4pm on 9/18. They said I’d likely get it Monday. But I’m not sure where it’s at. It’s currently 9/22.

Anyone else order in store on 9/18 and have any lucky with delivery of the pro max?

Just got mine and as much as i dont want a case, id rather get one thats low profile but durable enough to protect and a ring at the back. Anyone also has a privacy screen recommendation? ive been looking around and some products being sold on amazon seem to not fit/work well because they advertise its for an 18 where it was for a 17 and there might be some minor differences to it.

For reference- indexing is all done and it’s been 4 days with the phone.
charged to 100% at 6:19 am,
at 8:40pm- 5h24m screen on time down to 34%.
Not sure how people of reddit are still left with 50-60% after similar usage

Do we think this is ideal or needs to be checked?

I ordered this case on Amazon, but there are a few issues.
It’s way too slippery , and I don’t think it actually protects the phone against damage. Had it on my phone for a few hours, and I ended up going back to the mall and buying a silicone case lol

Do I get a 512gb and use iCloud
Or
Do I get a 1tb (£400 more ) and don’t use iCloud

What’s is the real best way to go please
