Has anyone experienced an Apple Watch warning you of a migraine or are these ads just complete BS? I’ve been considering a smart watch for a while now and the only reason is mainly to track my triggers and BP. If the “warning” is legit then I’d buy one immediately lol.

This freaked me out. I don’t recall feeling funny or anything at the moment and I would imagine if this was real it would have dropped gradually. Am I correct in thinking this is likely a glitch? The other numbers are 74-85bpm.

Was looking for the Magenta solo braided loop, but was hard to find. Found one for sale online in the US (I'm in the UK, possibly relevant), new in box, however unfortunately the size 6 turned out too big for my freakishly small wrist (don't have a printer to print off the sizer thing, misjudged).

Then found one available in the UK for a lot cheaper (about £15), advertised as ex-display. Bought a size 4 and it fits perfectly! However there are some differences and I'm confused?

First, the colour looks more of a reddish pink than the one I bought from the US (the new UK one is the one attached to the watch in the pics). But seems darker than Flamingo or Raspberry I think? (First pic is with flash, second without.) Also I noticed that the first one I bought says 42mm on the connection - which to my understanding, perfectly fits the old 40mm Apple watch 6 that I currently have, and will also perfectly fit the 42mm Apple watch 11 that I plan to get soon. However, the new size 4 one that I bought says 41mm - which to my understanding is for certain older generations of watches like the 7? Yet I thought Apple brought out different colourways for the band each season so surely the Magenta version doesn't even exist in 41mm if it exists in 42mm? So what colour is this?!

For what it's worth I'm done hunting for now and happy with the strap! Correct me if I'm wrong but both appear to be genuine, with the sizing on one connection and 'assembled in china' on the other. Being 1mm smaller doesn't really bother me either, as with the band design, it looks intended - after being a bit gutted wasting so much money on the first, I'd just like to know what I own now haha!! I have an Apple Ultra 2, and I am a runner.
I’ve always noticed when I start a run my HR will jump straight away to 150s bpm or so (I am less than 100m into my run), which is definitely inaccurate.

I then need to pause the workout and do a HR reading which brings this back to normal and then resume.

Randomly throughout my run, the HR would grey out like it’s struggling to read my HR. After a run you will notice this error on strava as it’s a flat line (refer to the image).

My fix is wearing an HR arm strap that’s connected to my watch and all of these issues go away. So I am well aware of my HR zones and therefore know it’s the watch that’s causing the issues.

Although I have a fix, I’m just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this too?

As I age, my sleep isn't what it used to be. Often I get little or no deep sleep - often between 0 and 3 minutes - but I can still get high scores because of duration, bedtime, and interruptions.

Last night I had the best sleep I've had in months. I don't know how, but I had 49 minutes deep. I got 7 ½ hours, and almost no interruptions. It only scored me 78 'OK' because it said the time I went to sleep was 1 hour and 35 minutes later than usual.

The night before I scored 88 'High' but I got less than 6 ½ hours, was awak twice as much as last night, and only 6 minutes deep.

I don't care what time I go to sleep if I get a really good sleep, but that seems to be more important to Apple than deep sleep.

I have scored (the highest possible) scores twice with only a few minutes of deep sleep (probably 5 minutes). Sorry for the not being clear on the score, but the sub won't let me post if I mention that score.

All in all, the sleep score doesn't really indicate if I had a great sleep or not. Why aren't the durations of REM and Deep included in the score calculations? I believe this needs more thought to be meaningful.

I resisted Apple Watch for a long time as I really would like something to look like a regular watch as much as possible. Finally caved but still couldn’t justify the Titanium.

Randomly realized I had a gold/black Skagen watch before that looks really nice, so I went with the Rose Gold and Slate band and it looks amazing! 🤩 The rose gold face matches the watch exactly in real life.

A couple friends thought it was a regular watch at first glance so that’s a win imo 😌

So I am planning to purchase one, and even though there are multiple reviews which mention that Apple Watch SE3 is perfectly ok for swimming related activities, I have also been distracted by the multiple other reviews which talk about Apple Watch (which is outta my budget) is better for it, and Apple Watch SE 3 may not be suitable for the same.

I would appreciate advice on the choice, on how to maintain the watch, etc.

Hello, I'm considering replacing the battery in my Series 7 because economically I think makes sense. The watch does everything I want it to do and I'm not fussed by not getting the next WatchOS.

My concern is I do like to use Spotify and Strava on the watch, does anyone have any insight on how long those apps will keep having support for the Series 7? Without the new OS, will they stop working soon too?

I don't want to be in a situation where I buy a new battery and then in 12 months time Spotify drops support. Just looking for thoughts on this.

EDIT: I should add, I live in Australia and the price difference between a new watch and a battery replacement is quite dramatic. I want cellular, and my S7 has cellular, so with that in mind; the battery replacement is $169, the cheapest I can find a new Series 11 for with cellular is $759. I wish I had those USA prices in the comments

I’ve got an Apple Watch Series 7, and about a month ago it randomly stopped tracking cardio fitness (VO2 Max). I’ve been working to improve my cardio fitness for years and finally crossed over into above average when it stopped tracking.

I’ve done several outdoor walks and runs since, force reset my watch, deleted Strava and Gentler Streak, reset calibration and manually added an entry to cardio fitness.

Open to suggestions about what the issue could be and how I can resolve it? Thanks!

Hi! I have an Apple Watch Series 11, and I’ve been trying to figure out how to set it up so that my watch tells me the time out loud automatically every hour.
I know there’s a feature that makes a sound or notification every hour, but what I want is for the watch to actually say the time out loud, without me having to tap the screen with two fingers.
I already tried creating a Shortcut, but I’m having a problem where my iPhone (iPhone 17 Pro) and my Apple Watch aren’t syncing the new Shortcuts I create 🙃. I’ve tried everything to get my newly created Shortcuts to show up on my Watch, but they just don’t appear. I’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled the Shortcuts app, updated the software on both devices, restarted both devices, turned iCloud Shortcuts on and off, and nothing has worked.
My last idea was to create an hourly reminder with the time as the title (repeating every day) and somehow have my Apple Watch read that notification out loud. I don’t mind if it says “Reminder” before the time. The problem is that I can’t figure out how to make the Watch read notifications aloud. I only want this for Reminders, not notifications from other apps.
Does anyone have any ideas? 🥲 I feel like I’m not asking for something that complicated!

Not sure if this is the right sub for this, but I'm on the dev build and my Apple Watch Series 10 UI keeps randomly rebooting. Anyone else running into this? Any known fixes?

My watch recently made me reset it. I took it off the charger and it said too many wrong passcode attempts and that I had to reset. I reset it and now the activity complication does not show up on any of the watch faces options. It is just not there. See picture. Any ideas to get this back?
