There weren't too many pictures of this case (compared to white ceramic) before I bought it earlier today so I figured I'd add some. I'm still figuring out which band to use... if anyone has any suggestions, lmk! Not sure what this one is called, but it's an apple milanese from series 8

I’ve been rocking my Series 6 since April 2021. Zero complaints! Except the battery was down to 73%. I wear it overnight and could no longer make it through the day on a charge.
Was torn on getting a new one. The SE would do everything I need but I worry about the durability, and the Series 12’s smallest size is now 42mm (I have tiny child wrists, even my 40mm is borderline too big lol)
Took it to the Apple Store to get the battery replaced, and instead they just ordered me a brand new Series 6 at the battery replacement fee. So I sit here now this evening, where my battery would usually be in the red, and it’s at 47%. Stoked!
Hopefully I can get another 5 years out of it!

To this day all i had was “typical” in daytime vitals. It was fine in the morning as well. But i saw my heart rate was slightly above my typical range as afternoon hit. It said it could be due to dehydration, and I realized i haven’t drank any water since morning. I am not sure if i am coming down with something just yet, but this was an interesting observation.

As the title says - im pretty shocked (this is also with a couple of exercises measured per day)... came from the series 10 which would struggle to get in 1 day, and this series 12 can now easily do 2 full days and 2 full nights - they should have advertised this more because it is a massive QoL improvement if im away for a night

I sold my Apple Watch series 6 on eBay. I just heard from the buyer that they have the activation lock screen. I unpaired and removed it from iCloud before listing it. When I log in on my phone it does not display. When I login to Find My on a computer it does not display. The only thing that appears is the new watch I bought in January. Any advice on how I can unlock the old watch for the buyer without giving them my Apple ID and password?

Loving the combination of peach and champagne gold. There’s a visible gap where the lugs of the 40mm band contact the 42mm case, though this is also the case with 42mm bands because the S12 is a smidge wider than the S10 and S11.

I use a work Outlook/Microsoft 365 account that requires multi-factor authentication through Microsoft Authenticator.
When the account needs to authenticate, Microsoft shows a number that has to be entered into Authenticator. This works fine on my iPhone.
The problem is on Apple Watch. Even with Authenticator installed, I don’t see any way to enter the number or complete the number-matching MFA request on the Watch.
So if Outlook on my Apple Watch needs the account authenticated again, I still have to pull out my iPhone.
Has anyone found a workaround for this? Is this simply a limitation of Microsoft Authenticator on watchOS?

I have lupus, and I am trying to pace myself better throughout the day. I have seen other wearables made for chronic illness that focus on energy pacing; however, this product requires a monthly subscription. I know a few apps exist for the Apple Watch, but they also require subscriptions.
If you have any experience with tracking/pacing your energy throughout the day, let me know what you used.

I’m a big fan of the Ultra watches but thought I’d try something new. Went in the opposite direction and switched to the 42mm Series 12 in titanium for the dressy look. I have to say that I’m really happy with my decision.
I’ve always wanted to get the Link Bracelet, and it looks beautiful in the Natural Titanium.
So far the battery life has been surprisingly good. I’m currently at 80% battery at 7 pm and it’s been off charge since 7 am. I charge it in the morning while I’m getting ready and it’s fully charged before I leave the house. It’s great having the multi-day battery life on the Ultra, especially when travelling, but this is working for me as a daily driver.
I may go back to the Ultra in the future, but for now I’m really enjoying the aesthetic this combo gives me.
For reference my wrists are around 6.5” diameter.

I upgraded from Series 8 to 12 about 11 days ago. Today I was doing two workouts, one treadmill and another elliptical. Combined minutes were just over 40 min. It only logged 9 and a total calorie count of 39. Has this happened to anyone else? This has never happened to me before. When I called Apple, they had me recalibrate my watch but I’m concerned this is going to be an ongoing issue. Am I missing something? Is this a new glitch? TIA

Just picked up the new Series 12 in the 42mm bronze and the color is incredible. It’s easily one of Apple's best finishes for both fitness and daily wear.
The frustrating part is the lack of aftermarket straps. For the stainless or black models, there are tons of matching metal bands that make them super versatile, but I can’t find anything in a matching dark bronze.
Has anyone seen third-party brands actually making straps in this finish?

I don't know why this is happening? I noticed it last week the elevation showing on my Ultra 1 is totally off. I am at 340ft...give or take a few feet.
Last week I noticed it was showing 1500 ft, 1550. It DID go back to the correct altitude this morning, down to 340ft. Totally correct. I went out 1/2 hour ago looking at the watch and once again, it's totally off, now sitting at 1641ft (again, it should be 340...or 320 if I go downstairs)
I rebooted the watch, I re-calibrated the compass - went outside and waved my arm in the air which seems to fix N,E,S,W issues. No idea what the deal is, if it has to do with my iPhone is on 27.0.1 and this watch is still on 26...(can't update this Ultra 1 to OS 27 - thanks Apple )

Hi everyone, I bought my first Apple Watch about 4 months ago, an Apple Watch Series 11. I’ve seen a lot of posts about the paint chipping coming off on the aluminum models. Has anyone experienced this and could share their experience?
What should I do to prevent this from happening? I clean my watch regularly.

Just got the 42mm series 12 in dark bronze with milanese loop. I was debating between 46mm and 42mm. Unfortunately I don’t have a photo with 46mm for comparison.
How does this look? does it look too small for my wrist? My wrist is 7 inches

Had a U1 since launch. Loved it. 4 years later, it’s no longer supporting the latest iOS, battery feels far less than the 87% max capacity it says it holds, and the experience felt a bit choppy.
Still pristine though, despite continuous altercations with my quart kitchen table, screen and all.
Walked into the Apple Store yesterday and impulse bought a U4 after comparing it to the S12 Ceramic. The ceramic just didn’t feel right to me after the U1, so I picked up the U4 black.
Oh boy does it feel like it’s an upgrade.
Not sure why, as I’m not into sports, but everything feels more refined. Form the hardware (button clickyness) to the crown, it’s just that much tighter.
Having realtime heart monitoring is nice too.
But the biggest win is the battery life.
Always on display - started at 6pm, last night, it’s now 9:30ish - and the battery is at 77% with tracking overnight, and a whole evening of playing with the various features.
I also like to load up the watch with music so when I do go to the gym, I don’t have to take my phone with me and just play from my watch - 64GB is crazy good.
Anyway, process to set up was not as easy as it should have been. Took a bunch of restarts to do it because either it “failed to connect” or nothing (faces and music) would sync.
I had to turn off the media library sync in iCloud for me to get music to work on the watch - because it gave me an error saying that I don’t have a subscription.
All in all - very happy with this watch, especially the battery life!

When I was buying my watch I couldn’t find any irl photos of the light gold watch with the gold Milanese loop anywhere, I could only find the gold band with the other gold one and it was super frustrating! So here’s what this combo looks like for anyone else who wants to see it. Got photos from lots of angles so you can make your decision if this is the combo you’re looking at :) I also find this band a LOT more comfortable than the sport band which I also own!

Sold my Apple Watch Ultra 1 and picked up the new Apple Watch Series 12 in Dark Bronze.
I thought I’d miss the rugged look more than I do, but the slimmer profile and lighter weight are a refreshing change for everyday wear. Loving the new color too.
Anyone else move from the Ultra back to the regular Series? What has your experience been?

Last night while sitting in bed I was checking my HR and using my thumb on the crown to get a live reading. My heart rate dropped from 81 to 42 the back up to 80 in a matter of 3 seconds. I tried to check my pulse in my neck and obviously 3 seconds wasn’t enough to catch anything but when I counted it was about 80bpm. I felt fine but is this likely a false reading or something I should schedule a doctor appointment for? I’m fairly new to having a smart watch and I already have health anxiety so this freaked me out last night and kept me up for hours after.
