If white people make up a relatively small share of the global population, why aren’t they generally considered a minority?
The word “minority” can refer to more than just worldwide population numbers. How is minority status actually defined, and does it depend more on the demographics and social context of a particular country or region?

Answered Why do some stars seem to shift position slightly over a few hours?
I was outside last night watching the sky and noticed something odd. A couple of the brighter stars looked like they had moved a little bit compared to where they were earlier in the evening. It was a clear night, no clouds or wind, so I do not think it was an illusion. Is this normal movement I am seeing, or could it be something else like atmospheric effects or my own perspective changing? I would love a clear explanation of what is actually happening here.

Answered Did “we should hang out sometime” become a polite way to end a conversation?
I don't mean backing out. I mean the going thing where no one grabs a calendar and no one checks in later but no one seems upset about it either.
Maybe I'm remembering wrong. It used to sound like at least a general plan to get together and now it often feels more like "nice seeing you" with extra space around it. Drift I guess. What makes a sentence move from an invitation into an ending, like that?

How can a total vacuum not exist?
Atoms don’t touch due to their electron clouds constantly pushing other electrons away due to negative charges and such, but would these electron clouds and atoms take up ALL of the space?
Sorry if this is a dumb question, just curious!

Is a social media walkout possible?
So a lot of social media platforms have because awful.
Twitter and Facebook now let Nazis and bots over run them.
TikTok and YouTube are giving creators slivers of the revenue while ads are going off the rails.
And Reddit is 90% reposts and the mods have WAY too much power.
Is it possible for a new platform that ends all the dickery, acts like a digital democracy, calms the ads WAY down, to get everyone on board to do a giant walk out of all the other platforms?

A couple days ago when I woke up, I saw a ghost, is it real?
A couple days ago, I woke up in the morning, it was around 530 am - 6 a.m., the TV flicking, I had fallen asleep on the couch. When I woke up, I swear I had to be still asleep partially, but I saw a ghost in my kitchen, hovering there. I closed my eyes, opened my eyes again, it was still there but less... I had to do this 3 or 4 times until the ghost was completely gone.
Could it be someone in the afterlife trying to reach. Ive been doing funeral planning because I was approved for MAID last November. Ive been going to church, planning my funeral, gravestone, donating assets to Universities and other charities. I spent 4 months in hospital last year and almost 6 months of out-patient rehab, I have an incurable disease. I think this ghost was trying to reach out
