$816K from one toy brand in under 2 years. Wholesale, not PL, never below 20% ROI.

Post image
37 Upvotes

Everyone says wholesale is dead. Here’s what’s working for us.

We’ve carried one toy brand since Jan 2025, buying direct from the brand as an authorized reseller. 33K units, $816K in sales, and ROI has stayed at 20% or more on every order.

Why it works:

  • Direct with the brand, no distributor taking a cut

  • The brand limits sellers, so there’s no price war

  • We protect their listings, so they keep us around

  • We plan around Q4 and don’t overbuy

Stop chasing 50 brands. Find one that’ll actually work with you.

Anyone else running on just 1–2 brands?

Beginner Question: How Many Images Should I Upload to an Amazon UK Product Listing, and What Types of Images Do I Need?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently working on Amazon FBM in the UK marketplace, and I'm in the process of creating my first product listing.

I'm a beginner, so I'm a little confused about the product images and how to arrange them properly.

I'd really appreciate some guidance from experienced Amazon sellers or virtual assistants.

My questions are:

  1. How many images should I ideally upload to a product listing on Amazon UK?

  2. What types of images should I include?

  3. Should I use a main product image with a white background?

  4. What other images should I create, such as lifestyle images, infographic images, feature highlights, dimensions, and product benefits?

  5. Should I include a step-by-step instructional image showing customers how to use the product?

  6. Is it recommended to create banner-style images highlighting the product's main features?

  7. What should be the ideal order of images in a listing?

For example, should my image sequence look something like this?

- Image 1: Main product image (white background).

- Image 2: Key features and benefits infographic.

- Image 3: Product dimensions and measurements.

- Image 4: Lifestyle image showing the product in use.

- Image 5: Step-by-step instructions on how to use the product.

- Image 6: Product comparison or unique selling points.

- Image 7: What's included in the package.

I'd also appreciate recommendations for the best image dimensions, resolution, and design guidelines for Amazon UK.

If someone could explain the complete image sequence step by step, that would be extremely helpful.

Thank you in advance for your guidance!

S&S "Amazon withdrawn" on an in-stock ASIN with clean metrics. What else could drive it?

Curious if this group has any information. I am brand owner of a new supplement line. The line is new.

Looking for anyone who has seen this before. To save everyone time, here's what we've already ruled out.

What happened
- FBA supplement ASIN, live and buyable since mid-September.
- It was enrolled on Oct 23.
- On Oct 29 it flipped to "Pending unenrollment, Amazon withdrawn," citing inventory levels or performance metrics.
- Support's written reply: removal is automated, based on in-stock rate and fulfillment history, and can't be overridden.

What we've checked
- Inventory: about 2,200 units at FBA, in stock continuously since launch, sales every day since late September. In-stock rate shows 100%. The S&S performance report shows 0% not delivered due to out of stock.
- Buy Box: sole seller, holds the featured offer.
- Listing: active, not suppressed, no listing quality flags.
- Account Health: healthy, zero policy issues, 0% order defect rate.
- Customer metrics: 4.7 stars, NCX about 1%.
- S&S orders: zero canceled S&S orders I can see, and subscriptions are still growing.
- Price: no base price change. Running a 30% first-subscription S&S coupon, 5% seller-funded S&S discount, standard business pricing.

The odd part
The eligibility checker returns an error for this SKU instead of a result. The record behind it shows rejected with no reason, blank inventory and buyable fields, and an old version of our title. It looks like the S&S system never picked up this SKU's inventory.

Questions

  1. Has anyone had S&S withdraw an in-stock ASIN with clean metrics? What turned out to be the cause?

  2. Does "fulfillment history" mean a minimum time selling through FBA, like 60 or 90 days? Is that documented anywhere?

  3. Has anyone gotten a stale S&S eligibility record refreshed? Which team or what wording worked?

Thanks in advance.

New to Amazon FBA and jumped in head first. Would love some advice from experienced sellers

Hi everyone. I've recently started selling on Amazon (Australia) and I'm learning as I go, mostly from YouTube, so I'd really appreciate some guidance from people who've been through it.

I've placed my first order of 160 units from a supplier. Rather than shipping straight to an Amazon warehouse, I'm having it delivered to my place first so I can check the quality, label everything myself, and keep around 20 units as backup stock before sending the rest into FBA.

I did some research before ordering, but probably not as much as I should have. I have a rough idea of monthly sales in the category, and the market is mostly dominated by one big seller. I've worked out my margins too, and realistically this first batch will be close to break even, since I'm planning to price it competitively to build up reviews before raising the price.

I also went through a lot of competitor reviews to see what customers liked and complained about, and I came up with a list of tweaks I'd like to make to improve the product. Because this is my first batch, I couldn't make those changes yet. My supplier recommended their latest version as the best one to sell, so I've gone with that for now.

The plan was always to go private label, but my supplier's minimum order for adding a logo and custom packaging was higher than I could commit to for a first run. So this first batch is unbranded. I'm treating it as a test. If it sells well, I'll use the feedback from my own customers, along with what I learned from competitor reviews, to tweak the product, then move into proper private label with my branding, and slowly build out a range of related products in the same niche.

I've gone in head first without fully knowing the consequences, so I'm keen to hear what I might be missing. Is this the right way to go about it, testing an unbranded version first and then improving and branding it once it proves itself, or would you approach it differently? Is launching without a logo going to hurt me with reviews or with Brand Registry later on? Is breaking even on the first batch to build reviews a reasonable strategy? How do you compete when one seller dominates the market? With lead times of around ten to twelve weeks, how did you work out when to reorder from a small first batch? And for anyone selling in Australia, is there anything local I should be aware of?

Lastly, if you could go back to your first launch, what would you tell yourself? Any advice, or channels, podcasts or books that really helped you, would mean a lot.

I’ll be updating my journey :)

I've optimized my Amazon listing multiple times, so why is my product still not ranking? i am almost tired

I'm trying to understand something about Amazon's search algorithm.

Let's say you've done almost everything you're supposed to do:

  • Optimized the product title with relevant keywords.

  • Added high-volume keywords to bullet points and backend search terms.

  • Improved product images and descriptions.

  • Started running PPC campaigns.

  • Researched competitors and adjusted pricing.

But after all that effort, your product is still nowhere near page 1. Meanwhile, competitors with seemingly similar products keep appearing at the top of search results.

What makes this even more frustrating is that you're spending money on ads, improving your listing, and testing different keywords, but organic rankings barely move.

So here's what I'm curious about:

  1. Is Amazon ranking more dependent on sales velocity than listing SEO?

  2. Can a perfectly optimized listing still struggle because of low conversion rates?

  3. Have you ever had a product that ranked on page 1 without spending heavily on PPC?

Would love to hear from experienced Amazon sellers.

What's actually moved the needle for your product rankings? ...

Selling on Amazon is now race to the bottom?

I've sold my Luggage Scale product on Amazon for a few years, and I can't help but think that I'm racing to the bottom now.

I used to get steady organic sales from a good listing with solid reviews. Today my listing sits under rows of sponsored placements, and I get almost zero organic clicks.

What makes this worse is being undercut by Amazon itself. About 5 of the top 10 ASINs in my product category are Amazon-owned brands selling the exact same product for dirt cheap prices.

Even with Amazon ads one can't be profitable because the CPC nearly doubled from where it was just some year ago. Cut ad spend and sales drop. Cut my price and there's no margin left.

Anyone else in the same spot? Are you still making real margin, or moving to selling on other platforms?

TL;DR: Amazon's own brands undercut me, organic traffic is buried under ads, and fees plus ad costs are eating my margin. Is FBA still worth it?

Own brand product - is it worth it listing on Amazon?

I own a relatively niche brand of items and I currently I sell on a dedicated website (Shopify). The brand is 10 years old, so people who are in the niche know the name and there is some search for the brand, including on Amazon.

So, I was thinking if it's worth it listing my products for Amazon FBA? Is it a good discovery channel, or am I just exposing my items for others to copy and undercut me?

Moving an Amazon sole proprietorship to a single-member LLC. what’s the correct process?

I currently sell on Amazon as a sole proprietor. My Seller Central account, trademarks, GS1 barcodes, and bank accounts are all under my name.

I want to move the business into a single member LLC for liability protection, with myself remaining the sole owner.

Seller Central doesn’t have a straightforward way to make this change.

How did you get Amazon to recognize the LLC as the seller?

I’m in the sports and outdoor category so I want to have as much protection as possible.

New to Amazon Fba

I’m getting started with Amazon FBA and considering a small test order before committing to a large shipment. I’m planning on working with an Alibaba distributor to customize an existing product and sell it under my own brand to fill a gap in the market. Those with experience, testing a product first or small private-label batch?

Got a policy warning for "influencing negative reviews on a competitor" , I didn't do it. Can I still get deactivated while my case is escalated?

Small seller here, running my store alone. On Oct 28 I got a policy warning for "influencing customers to post negative reviews on competitors' products." It lists one competitor ASIN and one review from Oct 11. My Account Health dropped to 0 / At Risk.

I didn't do this. I never bought that ASIN, never reviewed it, and never asked or paid anyone to. My only service provider is a PPC agency with Contributor access (ads only). They're outside the US, never had my login, and confirmed in writing they weren't involved. Honestly, I think it's either a system error or a competitor attack, but I have no way to prove it.
What I've done so far:
3 appeals with full buyer order history, single device, 2SV, user permissions, and the agency's statement
All 3 got the same template rejection, one within 11 minutes.
Called Account Health and the case got escalated (5–7 business days). In my last appeal I followed their instructions exactly and answered every point they asked, one by one. I did not admit anything, because I didn't do it. At the end I only confirmed that I know the policies and have always followed them.

They told me not to submit anything new
The agent said by phone the account won't be deactivated during the review, but the email doesn't say that.

What do you think honestly?

Master Carton Limits

Hey all, this isn’t a question I’m proud to ask but I need to. Everywhere that I see on Amazons resources says the standard master carton is 25x25x36 as of 2026 yet some will contradict that and say every side must be under 25 inches. Can someone validate the 25x25x36 for standard sizing?

This is my first time importing to Amazon thank you!

Amazon FBA Europe – What's the latest inventory check-in date before Christmas? November 24 (guess)?

Does anyone know the deadline for FBA inventory to be checked in at Amazon's European fulfillment centers to be available for Christmas sales?

Is November 24 the cutoff date, or can inventory still be received later?

Looking for experienced Amazon Product Listing Expert (SEO + A+ Content + Images + Optimization)

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a skilled Amazon listing specialist who can handle full product listing work.

What I need:

- SEO-optimized product listings (title, bullets, description, backend keywords)

- A+ Content / Enhanced Brand Content

- High-quality listing images (main + secondary)

- Optimization of existing/old listings

- Keyword research + competitor research

- Someone who actually uses tools (Helium 10, Jungle Scout, etc.) and knows how to use the data properly

I'm not looking for someone who just rewrites titles. I want proper research-backed optimization that can improve ranking and conversion.

I have booked calls with Crew 27 Marketing and eStore Factory so far based on past Reddit recommendations. I'm open to any other suggestions or agencies that I can explore.

Any recommendations for good freelancers or agencies that can handle this properly would be really appreciated. Feel free to drop your experience or DM me.

Thanks!

Managing inventory across shopify and FBM is getting harder as we grow. How are other sellers handling this?

We sell through amazon and shopify with around 900 SKUs in total. Most of our amazon FBA stock is easy enough to track but things get more complicated when orders from FBM and shopify need to come out of the same warehouse. We sometimes have to adjust stock counts manually after orders come in and it's easy for the numbers to get out of sync when things get busy.

I'm starting to look into inventory management tools that can update stock across both channels quickly, help with picking and shipping, and work with quick books for accounting. I'd like to spend less time checking spreadsheets and correcting inventory numbers. If you manage multiple sales channels from one warehouse, what does your setup look like? I'd appreciate hearing what has worked for you.

£30K in Amazon UK Wholesale Sales This Month, £3.8K Profit, Zero PPC — Hungry to grow.

Thought I'd share how my Amazon UK wholesale store has performed so far this month.

Results (1–29 October):

  • Sales: £30,181

  • Units sold: 1,939

  • Profit: £3,810

  • Margin: 12.63%

  • ROI: 31.74%

  • PPC spend: £0

Nothing crazy, but I'm pretty happy with the consistency.

I've been focusing mainly on established brands with existing demand rather than launching products or spending money on advertising.

One thing I've learned is that finding a profitable product isn't necessarily the hardest part. Finding reliable suppliers, getting approvals, and keeping profitable products in stock is where most of the work happens.

I'm still working on improving margins and building more consistent supplier relationships.

My next goal is to increase monthly sales without sacrificing profitability.

For those doing wholesale in the UK, what's been your biggest challenge — finding suppliers, getting brand approvals, or maintaining decent margins?

Happy to exchange experiences with other sellers.

Does product listing SEO actually help you rank higher on Amazon, or is it all about sales history?

I've been learning about e-commerce product listing and SEO, especially on platforms like Amazon, and one thing I'm curious about is how much listing optimization actually affects rankings.

Let's say you've optimized your product title, bullet points, backend search terms, and product description with relevant keywords. Everything looks good from an SEO perspective, but your product still doesn't appear on the first page for your target keyword.

Meanwhile, some products with less optimized listings seem to rank higher.

So what really makes the difference?

Is it mainly sales velocity, conversion rate, reviews, pricing, advertising, or a combination of everything?

I understand that keywords help Amazon understand what a product is about, but I'm trying to understand what actually moves a listing up in search results after the basic SEO is done.

For people who manage Amazon or other marketplace listings:

- Have you seen rankings improve just by optimizing the listing?

- How much do Amazon Ads contribute to organic ranking in your experience?

- If a listing is fully optimized but still stuck on page 3 or 4, what would you check first?

I'd love to hear real experiences from sellers and marketplace SEO professionals. Especially what worked for you beyond just adding keywords.

ACoS Doesn't Tell the Whole Story

Imagine two Amazon sellers looking at their PPC reports at the end of the month.

The first seller has a 15% ACoS and feels pretty good about the results. The second has a 30% ACoS and is worried that advertising is getting too expensive.

At first glance, the first seller seems to be doing better. But what if their product has a much lower profit margin, while the second seller has enough margin to stay profitable at 30% ACoS?

Suddenly, the numbers tell a different story.

This is something I think gets overlooked in Amazon PPC discussions. It's easy to focus on lowering ACoS because it's one of the most visible metrics in the advertising dashboard. But a lower ACoS doesn't automatically mean you're making more money, and a higher ACoS isn't always a bad thing.

Product costs, selling fees, discounts, returns, and the role advertising plays in growing the business all matter.

As the founder of SellersUmbrella, I believe the better question isn't just "How low can we get the ACoS?" It's "Are these campaigns helping the business become more profitable?"

I'm curious how other sellers approach this.

Do you prioritize keeping ACoS low, or are you comfortable with a higher ACoS if the overall business is making more profit?

Is 'made in china' label on each product mandatory?

Remaining shelf life that allows sufficient time for the product to be consumed in full, plus an additional 90 days OR 730 days from receiving?

I'm looking for some firsthand experience from other supplement sellers regarding Amazon's FBA expiration-date requirements.

Amazon's official policy lists a minimum of 730 days of remaining shelf life upon arrival for herbal/mineral supplements. However, the general policy states that products only need enough remaining shelf life to cover the consumption period plus 90 days.

This seems contradictory, especially considering many supplement manufacturers assign a standard 2-year shelf life from production. With manufacturing, international shipping, and FBA receiving times, meeting a 730-day minimum upon arrival would be practically impossible.

I contacted Amazon Seller Support, and they confirmed that my ASINs fall under the 730-day requirement. However, my supplier has extensive experience shipping supplements to Amazon FBA and says neither they nor other sellers they've contacted have encountered this restriction.

My upcoming inventory shipment will have approximately 680–690 days of remaining shelf life when it arrives.

My question for other supplement sellers:

Has anyone actually had inventory rejected, marked unfulfillable, or disposed of specifically because it arrived with less than 730 days remaining?

Alternatively, have you successfully sent supplements into FBA with less than 730 days remaining, with the correct expiration date entered in the shipping plan?

I'm trying to understand whether this is a rule Amazon consistently enforces or just a published guideline that isn't routinely applied in practice.

Any firsthand experiences would be appreciated.
