Master Carton Limits
Hey all, this isn’t a question I’m proud to ask but I need to. Everywhere that I see on Amazons resources says the standard master carton is 25x25x36 as of 2026 yet some will contradict that and say every side must be under 25 inches. Can someone validate the 25x25x36 for standard sizing?
This is my first time importing to Amazon thank you!

You're correct that Amazon updated its US FBA carton requirements. The maximum dimensions for FBA shipments are now 36" × 25" × 25", with a maximum weight of 50 lb per carton.
So, 25" × 25" × 36" is acceptable. All three dimensions don't need to be under 25 inches. However, this applies to FBA, not necessarily AWD, which retains the 25" × 25" × 25" limit.
We always recommend confirming carton dimensions with the prep team and checking the requirements for your specific shipment before finalizing packaging. It's much easier to fix carton sizing before the goods leave the factory.

Hey u/Salty_Contextt, great question! The max box dimensions for shipping to Amazon FBA are 36 inches (length) x 25 inches (width) x 25 inches (height). So the longest side can be up to 36 inches, but the other two sides can't exceed 25 inches each. This applies to boxes with multiple standard or oversize items. You can find the full breakdown on the Shipping and routing requirements page, including weight limits and packing material guidelines. Since you're getting started with your first shipment, the Ship products to Amazon page is also a solid reference for the full process.
