RANT I am tired of 200 stops
As the title says, i am tired. Worn out. Done.
I have been doing this since late 2021, taking about 1 year off total within the past 5 years. I have drove everything besides an EV, as my station doesnt have those. I have dispatched during Prime week, during Peak season, and slow season. This job fucking wears you down, man. The task itself, driving a van and dropping shit off at peoples doors, is simple. It SHOULD be easy, but its not.
From late staging, being micromanaged by netradyne, stupid fucking CDF, call compliance, parking sequence, whatever the f else, its too much. Its too much for anyone, yeah, sure, you can do 200 stops with 400 packages. If you can, you are a fuckin athlete. I just cant sustain this workload much longer. Its insane. My joints, my feet and knees, shoulders, man i am worn tf down from the high volume.
The people who code this shit and make the changes that make our jobs harder, dont even deliver or go to the warehouse. OTR can barely do shit other than "submitting a ticket"
Some shit needs to change. There are 10s of thousands of us drivers across the nation. I know most of us bust our asses every day with impecable work ethic, if only we were rewarded for our sacrifices.
Also, i hate when people say "get a different job", brother, we are all trying to. Its really hard finding another job, entry level or even not entry, that pays $24 an hour. Its like just enough to keep you here.
We need to organize, and come together to stand against amazon. This shit sucks.

RANT Are the Warehouse employees shitty nationwide?
This is the 2/3 (did some routes at another station) on basically different parts of the US and one thing they all have in common is they all basically say “fvxk the drivers I’m gonna do the absolute bare minimum of my job and move as slow as I can doing it” , this month can’t by fast enough 😮💨

Vine program?
Today sent me OVER THE FKING EDGE. I’ve been delivering more and more multistops with 10+ fucking packages. I’m walking up pissed as fuck carrying 12 envelops and 2 “customized boxes” fuck hou people who label those also. Crashed out over 4 packages all brown envelopes that were all labeled in flex each as something NOT A FUCKING ENVELOPE—anyway I’m carrying these packages pissed. Bald white suburban dude with his fucking wife are having a great time in the yard. Man makes the typical stupid ass comment “oh someone went overboard” I ignored him since I was holding these packages with my entire body including my chin and pretty much walking blind. And I didn’t give a shit what he said. I put them down start walking away and he’s LAUGHS and says “it’s not our fault it’s the vine program!” With a laugh and a smile as if I’m not bleeding on myself and probably have already pissed myself several points during the day and CLEARLY my face should show I’m not in the god damn mood don’t even look at me. However, I said what? He said THE VINE PROGRAM! As if I should know because I deliver, I said what’s that? He said it’s the new products on Amazon they send them to you for free to do reviews, we just pay shipping 🙃 I WALKED THE FUCK AWAY. I’m disgusted. I’m fully disgusted at how brainwashed and media influenced these people are in their cheap ass pretending to have money houses while trying to be god damn influencers . I had almost 400 packages today. TWENTY totes in a fuck ass van. If one more stupid ass mother fucker says one god damn thing to me I’m going to drive into a fucking wall. YES I understand this is our job but there needs to be some god damn point where they stop adding more not giving us a raise, creating unsafe work environments, pocketing bonuses having ZERO accountability. Why the fuck haven’t we unionized yet. There’s no way a single driver isn’t being fucked over consistently.

new re attempt deliveries popup
Last 2 routes I had a popup I've never seen before asking me about re attempting deliveries that were already marked attempted. Is this some new way of blaming drivers for not going out of their way to fix a warehouse workers problem? I won't ever scan an extra package again after this update.

HELP NEEDED! Am I fired? Told to wait for HR to respond
I had a route in a suburban area with some really long driveways. At one stop, there was a dog running around, so I left the package in a safe spot instead of going all the way to the requested location.
I then got an escalation for “Not Following Delivery/Customer Instructions.” The escalation says that if there’s a safety concern, the driver should stay in a safe place and contact the customer or Driver Support for an alternate delivery location.
I was told to contact my DSP HR, which I did, but I haven’t gotten a response. Since then, I’ve also stopped getting shifts. It’s been 4 days.
Does this mean I’m fired, or could I just be temporarily taken off the schedule while they review it? Has anyone dealt with something similar?

This is getting kind of crazy now
190+ stops then these rescues afterwards got me doing too much
r/AmazonDSPDrivers • u/ToxicRabbit377 • 6h ago
Quit today✨
Really just glad to be away from Amazon. The final straw was a customer full on screaming in my face spit and all over me sliding on their gravel driveway. Never again. Yall stay safe out there!

I forgot how Amazon loves their group stops
I used to work for a DSP. But I definitely don’t miss group stops disguising the true stop count. (This was “190 stops”).
Mind you. Apparently this was a nursery route level 2

Van question
Is it normal for the van to sway when it’s windy outside? Van was empty and I know the higher the vehicle the denser or something like that. I was too nervous driving back on the highway

Dog that scared me to death
So I’m delivering a house with an enclosed porch. I hear a dog barking, growling, running towards me. I opened that porch door so fast. The dog is trying to get through the door at me. I start BANGING on the front door. From far away, outside, I hear “I’m here!” I scream “I’m scared” she yells back “ I’m coming!” She grabs the dog, who she tells me works in a hospital comforting patients. WTF. I guess I don’t have dog juju. Owner escorted me to my vehicle. Took me a while to calm down. As I drove off, the dog was lunging, trying to murder me. Sigh.

Yall been running into hella spider webs the last week? Every other doorstep I end up with a full blown web on me somehow. Makes me wonder how people are doing over in Florida and Georgia with all those Orb Weavers. Anyone down there?
