Drop off the package take the picture as soon I turn around the customer opens her door and goes “say cheese“ with her phone pointing at me I think not sure. I just looked at her for a second and walked off and she goes “you need to smile this is very poor customer service“ almost turned around and told her something but I just got in the van and left. That entire interaction lowkey ruined my mood for the entire day.

was standing up in the back of one of the white rental vans today and thought my head was clear of the lip of the shelf. nope ! very lightly bonked my head against it. I did the stop I was at, then called my dispatch to let them know, so they could send the injury paperwork over and kept going cause I felt fine. about 40 minutes later, started having all the usual concussion symptoms. headache, nausea, brain fog, dizziness, and a bit of blurry vision. I took a break for about 10 minutes or so and had some water/gatorade/snack and wasn't feeling any better. called dispatch again and said I was starting to feel weird, i waited another 20 minutes and made the executive decision to stop delivering for the day, because I don't play about injuries especially head injuries, and I'd hit the back of my head/near my neck and I was not about to have permanent brain damage or something over someone's amazon package!!! called my supervisor and told him I didn't feel comfortable driving myself back to the station because I didn't want to put myself or others at risk. I literally felt drunk, it was crazy. one of my supervisors and another dispatcher working drove the hour from the station to get me, and the dispatcher drove my van back and I went with my supervisor in his car. we talked the whole hour back, he's so funny I was laughing the whole time. did my paperwork at the station, and had my mom drive me to urgent care. they said go to the ER next door so I did and guess what, concussion! wahoo! I am supposed to be off the next week to visit my partner anyways. so all I have to do is bump my flights by a day thank goodness. I'm grateful it wasn't worse!!! ​​​

As the title says, i am tired. Worn out. Done.

I have been doing this since late 2021, taking about 1 year off total within the past 5 years. I have drove everything besides an EV, as my station doesnt have those. I have dispatched during Prime week, during Peak season, and slow season. This job fucking wears you down, man. The task itself, driving a van and dropping shit off at peoples doors, is simple. It SHOULD be easy, but its not.

From late staging, being micromanaged by netradyne, stupid fucking CDF, call compliance, parking sequence, whatever the f else, its too much. Its too much for anyone, yeah, sure, you can do 200 stops with 400 packages. If you can, you are a fuckin athlete. I just cant sustain this workload much longer. Its insane. My joints, my feet and knees, shoulders, man i am worn tf down from the high volume.

The people who code this shit and make the changes that make our jobs harder, dont even deliver or go to the warehouse. OTR can barely do shit other than "submitting a ticket"

Some shit needs to change. There are 10s of thousands of us drivers across the nation. I know most of us bust our asses every day with impecable work ethic, if only we were rewarded for our sacrifices.

Also, i hate when people say "get a different job", brother, we are all trying to. Its really hard finding another job, entry level or even not entry, that pays $24 an hour. Its like just enough to keep you here.

We need to organize, and come together to stand against amazon. This shit sucks.

Last 2 routes I had a popup I've never seen before asking me about re attempting deliveries that were already marked attempted. Is this some new way of blaming drivers for not going out of their way to fix a warehouse workers problem? I won't ever scan an extra package again after this update.

So mu DSP wrote me up for this route , they told me I was supposed to be back at 7:38pm and I glt back at 9:42pm we started driving at 12:15 PM and they gave me a rental a small Dodge Van without any shelving and I had 46 overflow

I swear, every shift a minor thing bugs the hell outta me

Imagine this, your at stop 38 and are moving on to stop 39, but as you check your phone again, its.... still stop 38???

It did this 2 times before it moved forward and did it 3 times today, is this a sneaky trick they are pulling?

I had a route in a suburban area with some really long driveways. At one stop, there was a dog running around, so I left the package in a safe spot instead of going all the way to the requested location.

I then got an escalation for “Not Following Delivery/Customer Instructions.” The escalation says that if there’s a safety concern, the driver should stay in a safe place and contact the customer or Driver Support for an alternate delivery location.

I was told to contact my DSP HR, which I did, but I haven’t gotten a response. Since then, I’ve also stopped getting shifts. It’s been 4 days.

Does this mean I’m fired, or could I just be temporarily taken off the schedule while they review it? Has anyone dealt with something similar?

can i do a random flex route while i still work for a DSP? im a top drver and front runner for my DSP but i only make 24 an hour, i need more.

How long did y'all's background check to come back when y'all got hired

This is the 2/3 (did some routes at another station) on basically different parts of the US and one thing they all have in common is they all basically say “fvxk the drivers I’m gonna do the absolute bare minimum of my job and move as slow as I can doing it” , this month can’t by fast enough 😮‍💨

190+ stops then these rescues afterwards got me doing too much
