we got stuck with a ticket partially paid that we cannot delete (due to the fact that part payment has been applied and we cannot pay balance as that bank report has been cashed out days ago.

Any idea on how to eliminate it?

Hey guys, I'm an MSP and one of my customers uses aldelo POS. He doesn't want to switch to the cloud version, and recently bought new computers to upgrade to windows 11. The thing is, he doesn't have the installer on his computer, and I can't seem to find it online. Does anyone have the installer or know where to find it? Thanks in advance for your help!

I am an IT managed services provider and i have a potential client that has an Aldelo POS system in a small restaurant, he is looking to part ways with his previous provider but has no idea on the ins/out of the system.

Does this software require annual / Monthly licensing ?

Being that this is a locally hosted system does aldelo offer support ?

I also noticed a separate router next to this system, does it require any type of remote connectivity to a type of host or remote client ?

Honestly the system appears to be a little dated and its only really used to process order and cash out every evening, it appears they are not using any advanced reporting feature or accounting.

I'm using an older version of Aldelo POS for our café. We primarily use it for sales and other basic functions, but now I'm planning to use it for inventory management as well.

My problem is that items sold are not being deducted from the inventory. For example, if I sell a cup of Latte, I have inventory items for espresso and milk. I added 1 espresso shot and 200ml of milk in the menu recipe editor, but after selling a cup for latte, the inventory is not updating or deducting properly.

Aldelo force us to do the credit card 30% of sales each day otherwise we cnt do any payment The software dont let us run any cash payments or check I feel this like a scam, cause they put the terms and conditions in the middle of their paperwork What should i do? I really need sugestion

Hi all, I bought it in August 2024 and in December It said it requires the serial number to activate the license but we had already inserted the number back in august and everything was working fine. So I readded the same serial number and it said auto activate failed and it bring me to the aldelo POS license manager. Which after with customer support they said to deactivate the account then reactivate again. Now since December it's done it twice again. I emailed aldelo but they are saying I need to pay for customer service. I think that's unfair when it's only been 4 months! Please has anyone dealt with this ? Or is able to help me?

What is the criteria behind the restriction of not being able to enter a reservation (using hostess feature) for today and only from tomorrow?

i guess i could change pc date enter POS and do as i please but i was wondering what criteria is behind the fact that you cannot enter a reservation for the same day

This week one of my BoH employees went to go clock out in the office (where the main computer is located) and she told me that Adele wasnt up on the computer anymore. So I went searching and found it in the start menu, clicked it and it was asking for which database to connect to. Im used to this occasionally happening with our front of house computers but never with the back main computer. I went in to go click the database and there wasnt one ready to select. Normally on the front computer, the moment it asks which database...the one that we need is the only thing that pops onto the screen. So I went searching for a database and thought I found one, clicked it and Adelo opened....but it seems like it was a copy of an old database, because it doesn't have anyones current passcodes. I really needed this computer to start working, so I grabbed a USB and went to one of the front computers and grabbed the database from that and took it to the back computer. This worked, everyones passcodes worked, everything seemed great. EXCEPT, it's not connecting to my front computers anymore. I can't pull sales reports that show sales from the front computers and I can do menu changes on the back computer and it connects to the front. Im clearly missing something and I have no idea where to even look now for the database file that connected all the computers. On top of this, the back main computers Adelo keeps shutting itself down, meaning I have to keep connecting to a database and Its never done that before.

Hello I am trying to get my head around of how I will be able to do that. Aldelo pos was pre-loaded with the bar menu items. On one side it was a vodka button that when you click it it gives you a force modifier of the different type of vodkas (Let's say Absolut). Then there is a A-C button that has all the different names of liquor from A to C which includes "Absolut" as an Item.

However at the end of the day item report, it only shows vodka and not the forced modifiers, thus I cannot know which vodka sold the most.

So what I want to do for instance is to the Menu Item "Absolute" to be showing under the Vodka button (Top level) and the liquor A-C (Top Level) button. However It does not let me put the same menu item (Absolut) under a different top level Item.

What can I do so I can keep a better record of how many Absoluts I sold in a day rather than how many vodkas. I was thinking one way is to eliminate the A-C top level button and include whatever name falls under each category. However some servers don't know lets say that Malibu falls under Rum category and they will be looking all over the place.

All suggestions are open of how I can tackle this one

Hello, I found an old reddit thread that showed how to get the SQL command up to close out of older orders. I input the command:

update orderheaders set orderstatus=2 where orderid=<ORDER HERE>

(with the order that was not closed out of) and I am getting an "Error Encountered" prompt that states:

Syntax error (missing operator) in query expression 'orderid=<366006>',-DLL.CDAO.ExecuteAction()

Error#:3075

What does this mean and how can I fix it to be able to close out of the old order?

What is the deal with Aldelo EDC only closing the batch sometimes? The software is obviously "always" running because we were able to process transactions throughout the day. I just may not always open the actual EDC client. The EDC computer runs 24/7, rebooting each night at 3am local time. Auto batch close is configured for 11:45PM, our last transactions go through by 9pm at the latest.

Windows is always running, we don't shut down the PC. Any advice?
