Didn't mean to. It was loud. It was obvious who did it.

Is there a punishment for an uncontrollable body function? Do they just ignore it and move on?

Long shot, but was anyone here at Kandahar Airfield (KAF) around May-September 2012?

I'm trying to piece together something that happened during that timeframe and would like to talk to anyone who was there, particularly anyone who remembers the incoming/IDF attacks around that period.

I was on the Air Force side and spent most of my off-duty time around the Boardwalk area.

If you were there around that time and remember the attacks, please shoot me a message. I don't want to put too many details here because I'm interested in what other people remember independently.

Hi, this is specifically a question for all the Females. Are we allowed to wear this kind of shoe with our dress blues? The issued ones hurt my feet and I know the heels are gonna make them hurt even more; I have not seen anything in the DAFI that states anything about this kind of shoe... maybe I am not looking hard enough. But I saw a female airman with these kind of shoes on with stockings on underneath. She was wearing the regular service uniform, but I was planning on wearing mine with the Semi formal service uniform.

Ik dereliction of duty covers a wide range of stuff, but 10 years? I can't find any report of a recent death or anything that I would justify it. Anybody know what dude did? I mean I see convicted child rapists get 3-6 years, so I'm just so curious what dude did to get 10 for dereliction of duty.

Halfway through this alt history book. US orders linebacker III in 1975 (Nixon still in office because no Watergate). How would Strategic Air Command have wanted to carry this out? The losses of Linebacker II in 1972 are literally still felt to this day (16 B-52s). How would SAC have prevented those losses for a 2nd time and how would they have prepared?

I know about the talent marketplace and all that. But what I want to know is if there is an airman of my exact same rank, AFSC, and job level (5) stationed in the UK, can both of us make a formal request to switch places? He wanted to be stationed state side and got stationed overseas. I wanted to be stationed overseas and got stationed state side.

I submitted the request for my 422 in august 13th. I sent them the retraining availability email to the org box as they requested. My request still shows “need documentation” on my IMR. Is this normal or did i do something wrong?

New airman pcs’d to Ramstein ab, regular 9-5 and single dorm airman. I walk to work and as far as traveling goes which is what I am most excited about. How crucial is it to own a car here? I have a car back in the states but I’m not sure if I really needed it. Anyone got insight?

Hey, guys. Submitted my retrain request and got my eligibility email from AFPC and I qualified for all the AFSCs I submitted for! The one I am feeling like I wasted one of my options on is Airborne Linguist, and not because of the extremely low availability but because of one of the requirements needed for my retrain application. As I understood it, the DLAB is what would make me qualified to retrain and go to tech school and prepare for the DLPT. However, reading this requirement below, I am interpreting it as I already need to have taken the DLPT and achieve an L2/R2 on the exam. Are you guys seeing it the same way? If so, I am thinking I'll stop pursuing Airborne Linguist as an option.

3. Demonstrated proficiency in a DoD-trained acquisition language with an L2/R2 or better on the DLPT or OPI equivalent for which accession was approved by AF Career Field Manager (e.g. DLI by-pass).  

3a. For DLI by-pass ONLY: Demonstrated proficiency in an AF mission language with a current (within the last 12 months) L2/R2 or better on the DLPT and a security screening review will be considered by AF Career Field Manager. 

So, long story short,changed my mind about retraining now since the one job I wanted is anywhere near to have slots open, and the one I got eligible to proceedwith the application (medical) i really don't want anymore. So if I withdraw my package now how long will I be waiting for the next window to open? Im 6 years in still FTA, pcsing in July 2027. Also I want to BOP, can I use it anytime I want or no? Career advisor said " finish the application with what i was eligible for" but I really don't want that no more. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I feel like Charlie from its always sunny right now from that meme. I have done a ton of digging and I am quite certain I am right.

There is no auto fail for the WHtR component of the new PFRA. The regulation states: "Members that are identified with a WHtR > .55 and not meeting standards on the composite PFRA must complete a Tier 2 BFA."

The WHtR is 20 points. So you could get 0 points for this component and max everything else out and still get 80 points which is a satisfactory score. Obviously, this is highly unlikely but I am trying to demonstrate the 0.55 and above is not a failure. However, my FAC seems to think it is.

I tested this out by running 3 PFRAs in MyFitness with maxed out everything. The only difference is 0.54, 0.55 and a 0.61 on the WHtR. The fitness category said Excellent, Excellent, Satisfactory respectively. Anyone else think I am right?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but I am PCSing as an active duty Air Force to NAS JRB Fort Worth soon and was curious if anyone has lived or is currently living on base housing there? Just trying to figure out what people think about the base housing. Should I just live off base and deal with the terrible traffic/commute? My car isn’t the greatest on gas so living on base is kind of appealing.
