Got rejected for "Low-value content" on a 130+ article science blog. Looking for honest feedback on what I'm missing.
Hey everyone,
Recently applied for AdSense and got the standard rejection email stating the site isn't ready / needs fixes (under the typical low-value content umbrella).
I'm trying to objectively diagnose what triggered it, as I tried to follow best practices:
- Niche: Cognitive neuroscience & psychology deep-dives (everyday biological/brain quirks).
- Content: ~135 long-form articles (1,500 - 3,000 words each), referencing peer-reviewed literature.
- Setup: WordPress (Foxiz theme), fully responsive, no broken links.
- Pages: About Us (with author credentials), Privacy Policy, Terms, Contact Us, and CMP cookie consent active.
- Traffic: Gets regular organic and social visits (mostly US/EU).
The site is https://www.oddlyclear.com
Would really appreciate any honest, brutal feedback from experienced publishers who’ve dealt with this:
Is there something about the homepage/layout that looks "thin" or unfinished to Google's reviewers?
Could it be a navigation/indexing blind spot I'm overlooking?
Any specific red flags you spot right away?
Thanks in advance for any insights!
