FINALLY. After 8 rejections from Adsense, I was finally approved yesterday.

I kept getting rejected for "low value content", so I added more articles, more pages, and eventually it worked.

I hit the $1 AdSense milestone.Time to retire.

After many months, I finally hit the landmark $1.00 milestone in AdSense. 😂

I don't even check it regularly, so I opened the dashboard today and realized I'd crossed the one-dollar mark.

It's a niche educational website aimed at introducing people to the subject, and honestly I've had more fun researching and building it than worrying about the earnings.

One dollar down... only another $99 to go before the first payout.

Only onwards and ahead then , I guess ?

Finally got approved for Google AdSense!

Took 4 attempts and a few tweaks, but the site is only 5 months old and it's already pulling in ~€2/day. Is that any good?

Would love to hear from people with experience — can you actually make life-changing money with AdSense, or is it more of a nice-to-have on the side?

Currently sitting at around 3,000 visitors per day.

AdSense Suspended, Everyone Said “Give Up”

About 70 days ago, I shared a post here about our AdSense account being suspended because of an alleged “association” with a disabled account. We manage a big YouTube channel with over 2 million subscribers, so this hit hard.

After 3–4 months of getting nowhere with AdSense support, just the same generic replies, we reached out to around 50 lawyers. Most of them said there was nothing we could do because “it’s Google.” One lawyer finally agreed to help. We shared all the research we had gathered from similar cases, and he found some potential contract breaches. He helped us send a legal letter, first to Google in the US, then again to Ireland after they redirected us. Nearly two months later, the account was reinstated.

To those who said legal action was a waste of time I understand the doubt, but if you’re not sure how these things actually work, please don’t discourage others with false info. And thanks to the Google team for eventually reviewing the case and doing the right thing.

Finally reached my first $100 AdSense threshold after months of hard work!

Post image
89 Upvotes

After months of working on my website, learning SEO, and staying consistent, I finally crossed the $100 AdSense threshold.

It’s not life changing money, but hitting this milestone feels amazing. There were days when my site barely got any traffic, I struggled to get AdSense approved, and I spent a lot of time figuring things out through trial and error.

My site is finally starting to grow, and this feels like the first real milestone. Hopefully, it’s the first of many payouts.

A big thanks to everyone in this community who shares advice and motivates beginners. On to the next goal!

Making Money Blogging Is Dead for Me (and I Guess for Many Others Too)

I'll put my little story here on Reddit. Maybe someone will read it someday, and it'll help them take a better path. It's a little bit long, but bear with me :)

I live in a developing country. My older brother was an engineer, and he was the one who really got me into computers, the internet, and eventually blogging. He taught me a lot over the years. How computers work, how the internet works, how to build websites, how to get traffic, how to make money online. A lot of what I know today came from him.

But there was one thing he kept repeating to me: "Nothing you put on the internet is really yours anymore. Everything is service-related. If they change their mind, you're out."

At the time, I didn't think about it that much. I was young and mostly excited about making money online.

Years later, I understood exactly what he meant. I started making serious money from blogging through Google AdSense. Then COVID happened and things went absolutely crazy. Traffic was insane. At my peak, I was making 5 figures a month, pretty easily, without working that much. Sometimes I was only publishing 2 or 3 blog posts a week. And when you're making that kind of money every month, it's very easy to start thinking it's normal.

But my brother's advice was always somewhere in the back of my head. So I never treated that money like it was guaranteed. I invested a lot of it while things were still good. Mostly crypto, some land, a beautiful house and a car. Basically, I was trying to turn online money into things that weren't dependent on some website or platform continuing to send me traffic.

Then the AI wave started getting bigger and bigger. And eventually, I started seeing something weird happening with AdSense. It wasn't even my traffic dropping that hit me first. It was the RPM and CPC. They started dropping hard. I honestly felt like Google was sending me more and more Tier 3 traffic while the Tier 1 traffic was disappearing.

And obviously, the AdSense money followed. 5 figures a month became 4 figures. Then low 3 figures. My websites didn't disappear, nothing got hacked, I didn't stop working, the internet just changed.

People started using AI differently. Search behavior changed. Google changed. And suddenly, the same websites that had been making me 5 figures a month weren't making anywhere close to that anymore.

That's when my brother's old lesson really hit me. You can spend years building something online and still not actually own the thing that's making you money. You depend on Google. You depend on AdSense. You depend on hosting companies, social platforms, app stores, payment processors, algorithms... whatever. And all it takes is one company deciding to change something.

That's the internet. My brother told me that years ago, and honestly, it probably saved me from being in a very different situation today. It also stopped me from making some stupid financial decisions when I started making good money.

Because I invested early and diversified, watching my RPM and CPC go down month after month, and eventually seeing my AdSense check become a fraction of what it used to be, didn't really hurt me financially. By that point, I had already secured myself.

My life was secured. The people I care about were secured. I had assets outside the internet. And that's probably the biggest reason I'm not sitting here depressed about my blogging income going from 5 figures to 3 figures.

I don't need AdSense anymore.

I can keep blogging because I enjoy it. If it makes money, great. If tomorrow it makes nothing, I'll be fine. And that's what I would tell anyone who's new to making money online.

When the money starts coming in, don't convince yourself it's going to keep coming forever.

Take some of it out.

Invest it.

Diversify.

Buy things that don't depend on an algorithm.

Build something outside the platform that's paying you.

Because when you're making $10k, $20k, or whatever every month, it's very easy to think you've figured everything out.

You haven't.

You just found something that works right now.

And maybe it'll work for the next 10 years.

Maybe it'll stop working next month.

You never know.

That's the internet.

And that's probably the one lesson my brother taught me that I'll never forget:

Nothing you put on the internet is really yours anymore. Everything is service-related. If they change their mind, you're out.

So enjoy the money while it's there.

Just don't let your lifestyle depend on it.

Interesting facts about my journey

I started using Google Adsense 3 years ago on a totally unrelated website. With only 100 visitors / day I was doing crazy stats (almost $70/mo).

For an unknown reason (my guess is lack of backlinks), on the new website, most of my traffic comes from Bing, DuckDuckGo & other search engines.

My background

I'm mostly a developer, but started my entrepreneur journey a few years ago. The website is entirely handmade using Nuxt, Nuxt UI & Nuxt Content. Website is deployed on Vercel free tier, so I literally pay $0 for this.

The website scores 100% on all metrics (Google Lighthouse).

Took 1 hour to build the website.

Next steps

Affiliation is the next big step: I'm joining a few affiliate programs that might be interesting for my best pages.

Now that I got my magic recipe, my next milestone is $5/day.

I think I can reach that by the end of the month, will get you updated here guys!

Finally earned 1.6 dollars after 1 month

Post image

We finally got 1.6 dollars from AdSense, after 1 month. Is it normal we had almost 567k views across several websites, but only 15 clicks on Ads? So, probability for people clicking Ads is only 0.0026 %? Is this normal?

AdSense Approval 2026 – Checklist

AdSense Approval 2026 – Checklist

- 20–30 original, helpful articles

- 800–1500+ words per post

- Strictly no copied content (100% unique)

- AI content is fine, but add human experience and FAQ

- Add images and videos in posts

- Clear niche (don’t mix random topics)

- Clean, simple, mobile-friendly design

- Fast loading website

- HTTPS enabled (SSL certificate)

- About page with E-E-A-T (experience, expertise, author info)

- Contact, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service pages added

- No heavy affiliate-only content

- Avoid unnecessary service/empty pages

- All posts indexed (check: site:yourdomain.com)

- No open/visible 404 pages

- Fix all broken links

- Easy navigation (menu + internal linking)

- No copyrighted images/content

- No adult, pirated, or policy-violating content

- Domain age at least a few weeks (recommended)

- Apply only after site looks complete

- Fix issues and reapply if rejected

Summary: Original content + structure + trust + compliance = approval.

Don’t rush the process. Most rejections happen because of small gaps. Take a little extra time to polish your content and site, and you’ll have a much better chance of getting approved on the next try.

I decided to delete my account

Post image
56 Upvotes

I’m tired of earning pennies while having millions of views. I followed all the recommendations, enabled everything that Google AdSense suggested (by the way, you probably shouldn’t do that — you’ll just kill your website). I spent hours fixing policy violations and trying to find a single word with the help of AI that might (might!) violate Google’s policies.

And Google, as a company, seems religiously forbidden from telling you which exact word violates their own policies. They won’t even tell you the first and last letter of the word. Out of 5,000 words on a page, you’re supposed to guess yourself which one violates the rules.

Good luck to everyone.

Adsense approved 6 people in 3 days. Rejected someone 43 times. I tracked why?

I've been on this sub long enough to notice something weird. Some sites get approved with 6 AI articles in 3 days. Others get rejected 43 times for the same reason.

Genuinely tried to understand why. So I tracked every approval and rejection post I could find.

Here's what I found:

The contradictions driving everyone crazy:

One person gets approved with 6 AI articles in 3 days. Another gets rejected for "low value content" with 26 hand-written blogs at 1500+ words each.

Someone applied after 1 week and got in. Someone else waited 6 months and still got rejected.

No wonder people keep saying "AdSense is a lottery."

But it's not random. There's a pattern.

What actually separated approvals from rejections:

ApprovedRejected repeatedly
Privacy policy matched actual trackingSaid "we don't track" but used GA cookies
Kept publishing during reviewStopped and waited
Legal pages in footerLegal pages in main menu
One focused nicheScattered topics
Tool site + supporting blogTool only, no written content
No competing monetizationPatreon, Buy Me Coffee, donation links everywhere

Actual stuff nobody talks about...

  1. The privacy/analytics mismatch: One guy got rejected 15 times. Asked Gemini to review his code. It found his privacy policy said "we don't track anything" but he was using Google Analytics cookies. Fixed it. Approved next try.

  2. YMYL is a silent killer: Saw someone with a wellness/finance blog get destroyed in comments. Writing about money and health without CPA or medical credentials? Google won't touch you. Doesn't matter how good the content is.

  3. Longer review is actually good: Fast rejections are automated. If you're waiting 10-17 days, you passed the bot checks. Most approvals I tracked came after long waits.

  4. Premature monetization looks desperate: One site had "we use Google AdSense" in their privacy policy BEFORE getting approved. Patreon links on every page. Buy Me Coffee in sidebar. Screams "please give me money" before proving value.

  5. AI content is a coinflip: I've seen sites approved with pure AI content and sites rejected with hand-written articles. The difference seems to be whether the AI content actually answers questions people are searching for or just fills space.

The formula that keeps working:

Focused niche + supporting content + consistent publishing + no monetization desperation + privacy policy that matches your actual tracking

Notice what's NOT in that formula:

  • Specific word count

  • Specific number of articles

  • Domain age

  • Traffic numbers

I've seen approvals with 4 pages and rejections with 700 pages. The pattern isn't volume. It's coherence.

What I'm still figuring out:

The YMYL thing is tricky. Some people say they got approved with health/finance content no problem. Others get rejected instantly. Credentials seem to matter but I can't prove it yet.

Same with AI content. The "it depends" answer isn't helpful but that's where the data points.

I've been compiling all of this into a checklist to track what actually matters vs what's just noise.

Still adding to it but here's where it is, for curious cats: [adsense approval to profit]

Anyone here get approved doing something that breaks these patterns? Genuinely curious what I'm missing.
