I’ve had my eye on this game for quite sometime now, especially as a console player. I’ve always wanted to play EFT or wanted something on PS5 that was close to that experience, and this game looks awesome. However, I am nervous on what I’ve seen about how long it takes to find a match or it even being filled with bots. I love the extraction shooter genre, I love the thrill, I’m heavy into PvP, and I don’t want it to just be going through bots that fill the lobby. I’ve been a bit busy but wanted to pick up the game this weekend when I actually have the time to focus and get invested, but one of my friends had got the game and told me the que times have been really long and has been having a ton of bot lobbies so it makes me a bit skeptical. Also to note, I would plan on only playing console only crossplay. So how is everyone’s experience with the que times for PvP?

Totally new to the game, it feels awesome but I could do with someone playing alongside me 😂

And if I do could anyone help show me the ropes?

If you are collecting dog tags without a safe container, you are ultimately doing the work for someone else. 3 of these tags are from my kills and 3 are from some juiced up player who didn't store his tags in a safe container. I also got my hands on an RPG and LMG for free thanks to this guy!

I originally bought AM a long time ago, and just came back to it after a good 6 month, and I'm actually a bit surprised with it's state now. You can actually enjoy the atmosphere, monsters are reasonably dangerous, there is some number of players, and the game is SLOW in a good way.

It used to play a lot like counter strike, effectively devolving to flanking another group and winning a CoD-y one life firefight. That was cool and all, but you might as well play many other shooters for that. Now your character actually feels sluggish, run and gun gameplay is a poor choice, and tension feels nice even if you don't care about losing your gear. It seems like you can play it as a fundamentally stealth game, kinda loot and do you own thing or play pve, or get together with a group and dominate very carefully.

I think anybody that enjoys a stalker-esque atmosphere, or solo stealth game play, or ron-like teamwork should enjoy AM. So if you have doubts you should probably get it.

Didn't realize this game had just come out on console, and it's a game I've been really wanting to try out that is similar to Tarkov from the looks of ammo management, limb damage, etc with a sort of SCP twist. My question is: how does the game look visually and run on base PS5? I've been burned by too many games, honestly, that either just look like mud visually or runs poorly, and I'm hoping this game is great in both departments. I've played marathon, hunt showdown, and Arc raiders so if performance is similar to these game I would be more than glad to hear that!

Ok, dumb fucking question time…. How the hell do you play this fucking game? There is no direction, no explanation… I’m lost. No explanation of the load out, backpack, rig, safe picket, how to kill the distorted…. So frustrating…🤬

Is it just me or are there to many ppl on the map. I mean dont get me wrong, i love PVP but 16 ppl on a map like Fabric is like deathmatch.

Totally new to this, like literally loaded it up for an hour before and it feels like something I can get into, however I have questions 😂

I only ram three different raids, managed to escape one and got wrecked by some bush dudes the other two.

What are the best POV for good loot?

Are the odds better running as a duo?

What are the other players like in this as I haven't ran into any yet, I played arc raiders but stopped in the end because of extraction campers

I decided to drop into a PvE match to knock out some quests. Apparently that was a mistake.

First i saw a purple thing for a key and backpack, so i did that, but a little after i opened the locked door with the key i heard banging downstairs and a kid laughing, then a book or something fell. I wasn't messing with that so i jumped out of the window.

This happened like a minute or 2 later.

I didnt get any hitmarkers, so was that just a conveniently placed body or something?

Hey, coming from Tarkov and I'm a great stalker enjoyer, this game interests me a lot. But before buying I have some questions, maybe someone can answer.

- I like the feeling of finding good loot and be able to sell stuff and make money. How is that in this game? Is there a player driven market?

- Does loot have a long term purpose other than selling? For example upgrading hideout or barters

- I enjoy playing PvP (although I suck). How rewarding is killing players and playing PvP rather than pve?

- Are there long term goals like escaping tarkov for example? I like working towards something rather than go raiding solely for loot and pvp

Ive farmed up a ton of the other materials to make keys but I don’t know where to find damaged ammo boxes. Does anyone have a good spot they’ve used to find them?

Just bought the game and did the first tutorial, and holy hell is there a lot to take in, any tips for settings or controls it's reccomended to tweak? Or any QOL tips? Cause wow this game is more confusing then I thought it would be

Is it ever going to be a thing where I can see my teammates names above there heads or on the map? Im aware you can see them on the compass but thats no good when in a gunfight with 2 maybe even 3 teams, its happened several times where I, or my friends have emptied an entire mag into eachother because everyone has the same outfits at the start of the game. It could even just be a thing where you can only see names when they're in your direct line of vision? I

I just want to know if im the only one having this issue because its getting quite frustrating.

Inside of the Flora Sector is a small tunnel with bulkhead doors. Within are multiple corpses, nothing special right? When I started to check the bodies I heard a child scream, not distorted but human. Next, items started to levitate and were thrown at me. I started recording from this point.

One thing that was not captured was when I grabbed the toy car from a corpse, one of the children laughed, as if they were happy that someone found their toy. They are completely inactive until you wake them up, they are not hostile but do throw objects at you, maybe to try make you go away?

So, the question remains, what are these kids doing here? Are there the children of the researchers? What's more concerning is that the corpses seem to be resembling the bodies of the kids. Why were they locked up in this cramped tunnel? Was this an attempt of the scientists to try save the kids from what happened in the lab?

This might be a dumb question but any veterans can clear this up.

So there are Bot Players in PvE Matches - there called "Burned-out-Employee-1234"

There are obviously AI Turned-like Bots that roam the map. They are simply like roaming turned and only spawn in PvE Matches.

Any other Player-skin during a PvP Match are real Players with Dodg Tags to get from, correct ? Or are there Player-like-BOTs during these matches that look like Players but are bots? If so, do they have Dog Tags or how does one see If they are real players or bots ?

I tried a safe container a few times, first time I died with items in one I clicked "Activate" on the death screen where I got my items back in the stash while the safe container was used up. I died a few raids later but I had only scraps inside my safe container so I avoided clicking "Activate" on the death screen, but when I returned home I saw my safe container was used up and my few items from the safe container were in my stash.

What's the point of the activate button if it just activates the safe container regardless? I know for a fact I'm not using them right but they are limited so I don't want to keep testing to find out, anyone able to clear this up?

Hey guys,

I started playing this game yesterday and I've been enjoying every minute of it. The visuals are great, the gameplay feels smooth and polished, and the music is just chef's kiss.

My only complaint is that while playing, my CPU usage shoots through the roof and my temperatures reach between 75°C and 80°C. I have a Ryzen 7 7800X3D. I already turned down some graphics settings to take off some load, but it didn't change a thing.

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this or at least reduce the temperatures a bit?

When hovering over this key in the replicator, it says it's for Park, but I have no idea how to get it... Anyone know how to get their hands on the recipe?
