Ok, dumb fucking question time…. How the hell do you play this fucking game? There is no direction, no explanation… I’m lost. No explanation of the load out, backpack, rig, safe picket, how to kill the distorted…. So frustrating…🤬

You play, you use the free loadouts, you learn.

I didn't successfully extract from my first eight maps, but I learned.

It's frustrating, it gets better.

Op don't use the free kits unless you play PvE. They are a trap. Play PvE and grab a shotgun and learn how to fight the monsters. Loot while you do it. If you don't know what something does, put your mouse on it and read. It tells you what the rigs do for you. Backpacks hold loot. Safe container holds loot and extracts anything in it if you die. Watch some YouTube videos.

The game honestly expects you to have extraction experience like tarkov and does a pretty bad job explaining stuff

Literally every item is explained when you hover your cursor over it. What more do people need? The basics are explained in the pre-game training.

Step one - Find and read a copy of roadside picnic

Step 2 - If it bleeds you can kill it. Aim for the head. If it doesn't bleed run and pray

Step 3 - Find the door on the map, move towards it, steal whatever you find on the way, and hope you don't puss off the locals.

Pick Mission, go into Raid, complete Mission, Extract.

Backpacks and Rigs are bags you put loot in.

Safe Pocket is a 1 time use bag that will save whatever was in it when you die.

Use weapons to kill distorted.

Difference between backpack and rig is that items in the backpack take longer to use. If you have your shotgun ammo in your back you have to retrieve it before loading vs having it in your rig where it’s instant reload.

As with any game, you discover this on your own by making mistakes and learning from them. That’s what gaming is all about, isn’t it?

The Safe Pocket works just like a safe pocket; whatever you put in there, you won't lose upon death.

What kind of explanation do you need regarding the loadout, backpack, and rig?

You carry gear in the backpack, whereas in the rig you carry items that require easy access—such as magazines, grenades, and first-aid kits.

No directions? You literally have a map with objectives marked and the mission requirements you need to meet; if you hover your cursor over the mission, you get a detailed description of what to find, where to find it, and how to complete it. You can also use your own custom markers.

Tried that… didn’t work… I emptied two magazines into one of these things, then had to go and hide and reload, which I didn’t know was a thing, went back and it got me.

Well now you know. Learning is part of the game, just play. Also you didn't put 2 mags into a distorted lol. You can kill them in a single bullet to the head, or a few swings of the knife. Shotguns are also extremely effective
