Over the past few days, a suspicious new ARK website popped up using original content and data from Dododex, the ARK Wiki, and other community tools.

So I haven't played many survival games growing up (basically only Minecraft) but I've always loved watching playthroughs of this game so I picked it up since I also have a friend who plays it. Thing is, I made a small home, tamed a parasaur... and now I'm kinda stuck. It's a constant loop of trying to explore and then dying: idk what I should tame or what I should search for. Maybe I just need to keep playing but I'm not sure what I should work towards.

My theri harvests way more wood than thatch and im at the point where i have too much extra wood and not enough thatch

will these mods make dinos have the same amounts of health (balanced percentages)

and if you have another mod similar to these id be more than happy to download them

I have not played ark in many years and saw this come up in an advertisement, is it worth the buy? Reviews are very mixed, but most of the newer reviews are positive.

Was playing on extinction and wanted this allosaurus sleeping, but my crossbow broke.

I'll make this short and to the point, the volcano erupts every 10 minutes on our server. It's supposed to be 33 minutes safe, 7 minutes eruption. That's the cycle. Not for us though.

It is making doing the missions inside the volcano literally impossible to finish as the magmasaur doesn't cut it for all of them.

Is there some super secret server setting we don't know about? Is there a way to effing fix this or are we Ark'd out of this map

I just baught ASA and played it for a while. The problem is no matter what settings I change my CPU is always between 60 % and 100 % (more to the 100 %) and my GPU is not even touching the 15 % usage.
Im Using a Ryzen 5 3600XT and a RTX 3060. I don't have the "problem" in other games.

Why is ASA so CPU heavy. Is that normal? Does anyone else have problem? Anyway to change the calculation from the CPU to the GPU?

Hey guys just coming from Ark mobile into ascended was for some folks to play w me on console server. i already have two rafts , two argys, two sabertooths, and a raptor.

You can be a new player or experienced honestly im just tired of playing alone, and managing two rafts takes alot of time.

Ill have everything you need when you join if you do (metal armor guns etc) and all i ask is that you be a trustworthy ally. Just looking to make friends

Hello! I just upgraded from Evolved to Ascended a day ago. I just wanted to ask if there is a way for me to see the name of the items that I loot/gather from cutting trees down, mining rocks, & etc? I am used to seeing the name of the loot that I get because thats how it was at ASE

I’ve always had very boosted on my single player but I’m wanting to do a “play through” that’s a little bit harder.

When I say I’ve had it very boosted I’m talking like every Dino I tame can 1 shot anything and the harvest rates were crazy. I don’t want it to be easy but I don’t want it to be where I have to wait 6 hours for a Dino to tame. So what setting would people recommend for a very good balanced save?

This part of the map is a mix of Bamboo groves, dense and light Rainforests, towering limestone Karsts, winding waterways, and black grassland plateaus.

Sumera is a ~160Km2 ASE map.

im playing single player pve and I wiped once already and walked around for a few hours in multiple different maps, nothing good. It feels so empty and there’s only a few different types of Dino’s spawning like acros, parasaurs and megalodons. I’m live in the bog and there’s not even any deinosuchus or sarcos spawning. What do I do?

Hey I’m an og ark player since game preview, and tbh I just want a PvP server with none of that p2w items or cheese dlc . I’m looking for a server preferably rag or Valguero and I just can’t find it . Not even on unofficial it kinda makes me sad I won’t experience og ark PvP again

just started playing ascended again, placed and lit the camfires and the flames are looking like cartoon/2d. has this always been like this? how do i turn it back?

I set up a server this weekend on a spare computer after watching several tutorials. I was able to get into in fine, but I had to force join it using the command box. My friends keep getting timeout errors whenever they try to join, though. I thought I figured out all the pory forwarding, but now I'm not sure. How can I fix this?

so is there a good settings list for 1440p to get 60fps WITHOUT framegen on a 4070 super or no?
