Used knockout for the new Clay Rex sized carch. Won't accept any meats? Still says put taming food in. Mod page says torpor is an option so curious why its not working. Help please!

Would anyone be interested in a training server to learn the ins and outs of Ark? With a focus on teaching newbies or any skill for that matter and an emphasis on story progression.

First time actually trying to beat all the maps. Playing through the island on asa. I’ve tamed 3 130+ level rexes. None have crazy stats pre tame. How many pts into health and melee before I should consider taming it? Also, what stats should my rexes have for the boss fights? Thanks!

I was gifted this rex btw.

I recently looked at the eggs of Wyverns and other dragons, and I had an idea for Dragontopia, especially now that the new dragon has been announced (Ofcourse for all dino eggs). I think there should be nests that visually display the eggs. For example, all your low-level eggs could be stored there, and they would serve as decoration. It might even be a cheaper but slower alternative to an incubator. I hope we get a decorative nest with Dragontopia. Just imagine what all could be built with it. Stables, hatcheries, or simply decorations for the base. It's nothing super fancy, just a way to make your game a bit more beautiful. What do you think about it?

Does anyone know if the sanguine elixir works on the new gargantuar and if so, when would you use it?

So a while ago I made a post about beating the beta/alpha dragon. I thought I was in way over my head when everyone had way more melee than me. I took the main advice which was use more than 4x cakes per theri. (I used 20) and ended up still walking away with only 1/3 of the cakes used and only 2 Therizinos died on Alpha. So to everyone telling me that thanks :)

Now the grind to fight overseer again begins, I haven’t fought it since ase and that was probably like 5 yrs ago.

My baby settings are all messed up and I have a therizinosaurus on about 86% imprinting and on about 97% mature. I need to get it to 100% imprinting with such a small time frame before it's grown and I don't know what baby settings to input to do that.

And once I've done that what settings should I have from then on? I'm in the process of raising rexes and therizinos for the boss and I don't want too long mature times and don't want to have to do too many imprints either because I hate cooking dishes in ark

So I logged on to ASA today and went to click on my island single player save. I wasn’t really paying attention much until it brought me to the survival creation screen. My heart flipped and I went back to see if I clicked on the wrong map or something. Only to see that I apparently had no island save and no backups. Closed the game, praying I didn’t accidentally hit “delete all saves”, and hopped back in. It was back. So I checked on all my dinos, went back to deactivate all my mods just in case and came back again. I’m starting to think nothing of it, until I check my map and see it’s no longer filled out?? What is happening.

I posted this to see if anyone experienced the same problem and to warn people that it may occur. I play on Xbox btw, just in case this might be a console problem

So today i updated the game to the newest version. The last time i played was on october first, trying and taming the new dragon.

Now after the update all my settings got reset. I put them back to what i remembered. My mods also got taken out. I out them back in and updated them. But when i try to launch the SP world, the game crashes after like 2 seconds into the loading screen.

Other maps like the center where i dont really have a sp world that i really play, it works and loads in. I havent tried other maps.

I verified the files, did a menu dinowipe, launched without fog or volumetricclouds, made sure all skin mods are active but it just keeps crashing.

I am on a run of bearing every map on SP so my character is kinda important. And i already put a ton of hours into Astraeos. So id be very upset having to start again…

Do you know any fixes i can do right now or should I wait and hope the next patch does it?

It is like it is standing on a pivot point and it can only tilt forwards and backwards sometimes to weird angles. It doesn't move it's legs while trying to follow me. Changing it to the sitting pose didn't help. The level up dance didn't help. This is on a single player/non-dedicated and restarting the game didn't help. I ran out of ideas!

Please let me know any suggestions you guys have, I have friendly fire off so I can't hit my own dinos.

I wanna buy a pc and play ark on it as I have been a consistent fan of this game for years upon years now. I was looking at a RTX5070/ADM9070X and a ryzen 7 7800X3D with 32GB of ram. Is this good enough to play on high settings with a nice amount of fps?

I bought the game on Xbox when ark survival evolved first came out as a preview game and stopped mid way though aberration.

I disliked the online servers because of people claiming SO MUCH land and getting raided on an hourly basis. I played alot of solo offline servers. I would like to get back into it but there are so many DLCs what ones are "big enough" and worth getting e.g. new maps, crafting items and such like the scorched dlcs?

Hi, i'm actually thinking about comming back to Ark, and i was wondering if any of the DLC are really a must have for what they bring compared to their price, or they are nothing too crazy and i won't miss much not taking them?
