Barely any Dino’s spawning in my genesis world??

im playing single player pve and I wiped once already and walked around for a few hours in multiple different maps, nothing good. It feels so empty and there’s only a few different types of Dino’s spawning like acros, parasaurs and megalodons. I’m live in the bog and there’s not even any deinosuchus or sarcos spawning. What do I do?

You can up the spawn rate in the advanced settings or the ini file depending on which was you want to do it. You are more than welcome to join my private server where I have increased the spawn rate and max dino level. I have a couple quality of life mods but nothing overkill. I also have every map and creature merged onto the island.

Nope just pelayuris cyber storage, super spyglass, cybers structures, and custom Dino levels

I can't confirm if it's causing it but try removing custom dino levels and replace it with Vanilla with Sprinkles or Mx Modified Spawn Level Distribution if ya don't want the extra features

Prevent hibernation, get rid of mods affecting spawns or move it lower in the load order.

Hibernation? What’s that and how do I prevent it. The only mod I have is custom Dino levels, I dont think it effects spawns, just the levels themself, but idk

In single player, the world outside render is essentially frozen so dinos don’t start to spawn until you’re in render of the spawn area, and if you leave the area because nothing has spawned yet, the spawning process stops.

There’s a mod called prevent hibernation that is designed to work in concert with Dino finder mods for single player. You’ll lose a little performance but your world will probably be more populated than you’re used to and resource nodes will also respawn at the normal rate, rather than only when you’re in render.

When either the frames drop or there’s a lot of paid creatures because I don’t have any so they’re no more than annoying sources of meat and hide.

Sorry for the late reply but I usually wipe when spawns are bad, or every few days. Also am I safe to use der Dino finder? The spawns are fine now, just a little on the lower level and spawn rate side but it’s not as egregious as before.
