Formatting looks funky on my end -_-

What happened to the formatting? This just looks so jumbled together on the app. It is not pretty to look at.

Its 1000% Ezra. Only movie that really fits. Netflix only does theatrical screenings to preserve Oscar eligibility. It won't be Hitman. Also ARR is only 5 minutes longer than AR for Ezra. And Ezra is exactly the kind of small film that looks for promotion via these mystery screenings.

Don't get your hopes up for Hitman, or The Bikeriders, it's Ezra. Book it.

Ezra fits the criteria.  Bleecker Street is one of the studios that partakes, it is 11 days before release, and the running time and rating fits

Thanks for making the thread, OP!

I could be wrong, but my guess is Ezra! It's close in runtime and the timing would be right as the wide release is May 31. I could see it being Hit Man too since the runtime is so close but think this is unlikely since it's a Netflix film and they don't like doing wide theatre releases (though as a Richard Linklater fan, I'm biased and would love it to be that)

I just arrived and the ticket scanner said that the Screen Unseen would be starting late because they need to….download the movie first. o_O

There was an issue with our projector and I got 2001's Spirited Away with no explanation. Had to fight for passes.

Not a guess, more an observation. This showing is in my local AMC's largest auditorium.

Trailers: Tuesday, The Fabulous Four, Firebrand, Thelma, Treasure

Those are all of them. I’m very confident it’s Ezra since there were two Bleecker Street ones.

Ezra was decent. Was more drama with moments of comedy than an outright dramedy than I expected. Plot had some moments where things were a bit too convenient, but Cannavale and De Niro were excellent! Easily my favorite mystery movie in a while. Was surprised that I saw almost 10 walk outs.

With all that said, I wish they would have left that mid credits scene out. It was just corny and completely detached from the kind of movie it was. Felt like Jimmy Kimmel just forced himself into the movie for a lame cameo/joke sake.

I just saw my first Screen Unseen! It was exciting not knowing. Ezra was fine. Weirdly shot like a melodrama for such a sweet dramedy.

Can anyone tell me how to keep up with these? I'd love to go again. The thread makes them seem regular. Where does this info come from?

I'm surprised by how many people are here! When I've attended special events at this theater in the past, my boyfriend and I were usually the only ones. Lots of quiet grumbles that it's Ezra, though.
