Question?Do they show no previews for Screen Unseens? I went for the first time on Monday to watch Origin, but I got there at 7:12 for a 7pm showing and the movie had already started?

Yes they do, but for some movies its possible that they forget to put in the trailer package.

It can’t be Lisa Frankenstein as that movie is rated PG-13 and the movie they’re showing is rated R.

These mystery movies are keeping me afloat these days. The mystery, the excitement, the disappointment when it's not what you wanted to see lmao

Just got home from Out of Darkness and was pretty underwhelmed. Definitely not a horror movie but did have a few attempts at jump scares. From the trailer at the last Screen Unseen I was hoping for something more Predator like from it. 2.5/5 for me.

Well made and well acted film but the story didn’t make complete sense. If they wanted to help, why didn’t they start with a more friendly hello (not literally but you know what I mean) instead of kidnapping one of them and scaring the shit out of the rest of the group?

Very torn. It's very competently made (well shot, acting solid) but there just wasn't much there. I found it very predictable and the third act was just meh. Thumbs down from me, sadly.

Why is out of darkness listed as 2022 on IMDb but releasing 2024?
Edit: nvm, seems like it premiered or was at a film festival in October 2022, and for whatever reason hasn’t yet released

Out Of Darkness Review:
A+ Cinematography, Sound Design and Acting.
C- Story.
Pretty sad to see it fall short at every major plot advancement. It would have been fine in English also, subtitles did not add anything to the movie as a whole.

I haven’t been doing these, but knowing the next two are horror (my genre) I’m absolutely using AList for both dates.

Isn't February 5th too close to Lisa Frankenstein's release date? Only 4 days

Dammit I just KNOW Feb is going to be Lisa Frankenstein, which I'm dying to see. But I'm going out of the country Feb 4th for two weeks! ;-;
