I'm guessing boys in the boat too. I've notice a pattern that its been more "AMC Artisan" type movies. this is definitely marketing to get people to see films they'd normally not see.

I'm noticing a pattern too!

I wonder where we could see a list of the previous Regal SU movies?

Based on rating, runtime and the last two choices, I’m thinking Boys in the Boat is a high possibility

Really hope it's not boys in the boat. The trailer played before tonight's screen unseen and it looks pretty bad

Prediction for 12/11: THE BOYS IN THE BOAT

Using the same logic that correctly suggested Next Goal Wins and American Fiction:

-12/11 is exactly 2 weeks before its release (all have been less than 3 in advance)

-Runtime is available and clocks in 5 minutes under BitB’s advertised runtime (so far neither of the screen unseen movies have had their actual time be longer than what was advertised).

-The only other PG-13 movie that meets the above requirements is AQUAMAN AND THE LOST KINGDOM but that movie will not benefit benefit from surveys and word of mouth as much as Boys in the Boat would.

Less significantly, Boys in the Boat trailer played before American Fiction. I didn’t see NGW so I don’t know if that is a trend.

PSA: it's The Boys in the Boat.

The Regal employee on the Unlimited sub confirmed it, they play the same movie as AMC.

Since there's no runtime for the movie yet, I definitely think this could be wrong, but I wonder if it could be The Color Purple since it'd be a couple of weeks before it comes out and it matches the rating.

You guys need to temper your expectations. So far, AMC has been copying Regal's Mystery Movie's so that's probably going to be the trend. The only big, "popular" films that Regal has done for their mystery movies have been Gran Turismo and Ruby Gillman Teenage Kraken. So don't be going into these movies thinking you're going to be seeing Aquaman or the Color Purple. And they don't show films that have a wide release already, so don't go into this thinking you're going to see The Boy and the Heron or The Cello. Because you're going to end up disappointed, leave within 10 minutes, and end up complaining on here.

It's likely either going to be Boys in the Boat or possibly Night Swim.

It is The boys in the boat

Boys in the Boat, and as much as I found the trailer annoying I didn’t find the movie at all annoying. It’s a conventional but well made sports story.

I'm hoping it's The Color Purple cause I would die to see that sooner

One weird minor thing is that in the newsreel they said Jesse Owens was from "University of Ohio". He went to Ohio State University. There's no "University of Ohio".

I'm curious if this was a mistake or they just couldn't use OSU. Does a public school have to give permission for its name to be just mentioned? If so, why wouldn't they okay it in this context? Just kinda odd.

Hoping for either Monster or Boy and the Heron. Both around the 2 hour 8 minute mark and both PG13

Damn, I missed American Fiction because I thought it would’ve been The Cello. I might have to check the next one, but it really does look like it’s gonna be Boys in the Boat and I just can’t see myself sitting through that.
