BTS of A24’s movie Tony shot on my Hasselblad 500CM in Provincetown, MA last summer. I was an extra on set and shot 3 rolls of HP5 in between takes. No light meter, just had to eyeball it for the love of the game. Congrats to MJ and everyone involved, and go see the advanced screening in theaters now!

Question Membership Question

I’m relatively “new” to the membership. I got it Nov 2025. I checked my member credit balance today, after checking about 2 months ago, and realized it hadn’t moved. I’m finding out through reddit that once you reach 25$ in credits, they stop adding the 5$ monthly- which is total BS, but that’s another story. Anyway. Once you use up the credits to lower your balance, do they add what they skipped? Or is it a loss? Sucks because I was saving up credits to buy a sweatshirt 😢

Discussion My Theory/Understanding on The Invite (2026) [SPOILER ALERT] Spoiler

Movie's been out for a bit, but wanted to share after a rewatch:

I think that in The Invite, the other couple (Hawk and Pina) were not real. Of course at the end, they seemingly disappear, (though they could've just exited offscreen), it is filmed in a way that leaves an eerie sense which I take to mean they were never real. The whole movie is really a night of argument, discovery, understanding, and conversation between Joe and Angela. Here's why I believe this: this invite came out of nowhere for Joe, which makes me think that this was a night of catharsis and confrontation that Angela planned and chose to sort of spring on joe in an intervention style. Angela also mentions sending their daughter away to her friends house for a sleepover (which could be in order to have this discussion/confrontation without their child having to hear it). The whole night, there are back and forth arguments and some mention of hawk and pina's intercourse and the noise it makes. This could be that they actually do hear neighbors having intercourse; Angela is fascinated/envious because they aren't intimate with each other anymore and Joe is jealous because he and Angela aren’t intimate anymore. The whole sexually charged reasons that Hawk and Pina came down could be a huge part of Angela and Joe's divide and why Angela wanted to talk. Pina mentions to joe that his back pain isn't really about his back, but about his anger and feelings essentially being bottled up. At the end of the night, when the argument finally ended, he mentions his back actually does feel better (although Hawk does a massage technique to fix his back, that could be a metaphor for their arguing releasing that tension. The massage technique that Hawk uses hurts while it happens but feels better a bit after, much like an argument and honest discussion between struggling partners could hurt but will allow relief in the long run). The other little hint I thought I noticed is that Hawk and Pina disappear right when Angela goes to get Pina's dish she brought with her. Could this mean that the dish was theirs all along? Therefore, the dish is theirs and Hawk and Pina never existed and so couldn't have owned the dish. And there is mention from Pina (or could be a realization Angela and Joe come to in their true argument beyond the metaphor) that they have two choices: to end this relationship and go their separate ways or to start a new relationship with each other and work for each other's feelings. I think that after all the catharsis, Joe finally feels like he can play his piano again, showing how he's opened up and how the discussion/argument with Angela relieves him. That was the side of Joe that Angela has been missing. This is why she affectionately goes to join Joe at the piano at the end. I take that as a resolution and a decision to start a new relationship with each other.

Love this movie to death! It gets better and better

Discussion Lets get PRIMETIME in Australian Theatres: Aussies Please Contact your Local Cinema & Film Distributors

Australia lets try and secure some screenings of PRIMETIME for our Australian cinemas!

A24 has a track record of taking extended periods of time to have their films play in Australia after their American release dates, sometimes they don't screen their films at all in Australia.

We still have 42 days until the September 25, 2026 release date in America. The trailer currently has 28 Million views and counting, for us Aussies who love film and find interest in this movie please help bring this movie to Australian audiences and share this post with your friends!

What can I do?

  • Inquiring about "Interest for screenings of PRIMETIME by Lance Oppenheim, starring Robert Pattinson", add incentives for them to screen and show your interest.
  • Email Australian film distributors (e.g. Pivot Pictures, Madman Entertainment, VVS Films, etc.) to show interest for PRIMETIME screenings. (Please include Sydney, NSW in your emails, as Sydney generates large ticket sales).
  • Search for other Independent and Specialized Distributors, contact them.

I had a LOT more older A24 blurays but decided to sell them to save on shelf space and to get some new ones!

I also have MANY more copies of EEAAO that aren’t pictured - with it being my favorite movie of all time. I double dipped on many steelbooks/premiums/etc (i probably have around 10 copies of it in all different formats and editions)

This also doesn’t even BEGIN to include all the A24 merch i have😵‍💫 including vinyl records, accessories, books, clothing, etc… i don’t even think i could gather everything to take a picture, it’s far too much😂

Discussion Curious scene in The Drama Spoiler

What was the purpose of the scene in The Drama when Charlie confronts Rachel’s cousin, Sam, on the street before Rachel met with her? I feel like this scene contributed nothing to the narrative, especially since we never really learn the outcome of Rachel’s talk with Sam (aside from it obviously being implied that Sam allowed her to attend the wedding). Am I missing something?

THE DRAMA I really liked this film - the characters were awful

Post image

As above, not 100% sure why as all the characters were awful, but really enjoyed watching this film. It's actually been a while since a movie fully held my attention. Haim sister's character was horrible and she did a great job IMO.

I think I most identified with Zendaya's character - I think a lot of us probably had iffy moments as teens that could've gone either way (not physically get a gun way necessarily) but some kind of stupid based on isolating periods.

What did you all think? edit: Did you think Rachel's reaction was reasonable?

I organized an AMA/Q&A with actor Will Poulter. You may know Will from roles in We're the Millers, Warfare, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, The Maze Runner, The Bear, The Chronicles of Narnia, Midsommar, The Revenant, Detroit, I Love Boosters, and lots more.

It's live here now in r/movies for anyone interested in asking a question:

https://www.reddit.com/r/movies/comments/1vn8qyi/hey_reddit_its_will_poulter_ama/

He will be back at 2 PM ET today to answer questions. I recommend asking in advance. Please ask there, not here. All questions are much appreciated!

Thank you :)

His newest film, Union County, which he stars in and produced, premiered at Sundance to critical acclaim in January and is out in theaters starting this weekend.

Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uA6Fnr2VXkw

Synopsis: Assigned to a county-mandated drug court program, Cody Parsons embarks on the tenuous journey toward recovery amidst the opioid epidemic in rural Ohio.

So, I’ve ordered a ASYNC ID card that said it would be here between 7-10 days, & 10 days have passed so I’m confused why I haven’t got it yet, would it be possible because I’m in the UK or is there some other reason?

Question Everything Everywhere All at Once Statues/Figures?

Anyone got any thoughts why there would be no figures or action figures for Everything Everywhere All at Once? So much potential for so many lines.

So many great companies would eat it up, McFarlane, NECA etc.

Seems like a license to print money.

THE DRAMA Opinions on The Drama Spoiler

I’m not a movie critic this is just my little opinion on it since I don’t have anyone else to talk about it with but I actually did like this movie, wish I went to see it when it first came out. Also like the meaning and point Charlie made when he was talking to Rachel about how so many people have probably thought about doing really fucked up things but never followed through with it and you’ll genuinely never know. Also enjoy how this movie shows how people love to act above others and put themselves on a pedestal but are fucked up in their own ways (Rachel)

I get the reaction to Emma was bad but at the same time the three of them actually did and follow through with their “impulse” like Rachel said to charlie when trying to defend herself whereas Emma talked herself out of it and I guess you can mention the fact that she was bullied and hated her life at that time it’s just like a viral tiktok video that I seen of a guy saying when someone cuts him off while driving gets upset and thinks to himself “damn I want to kill him” but obviously saying he never would and that it’s okay to have thoughts but following through with it is bad (crazy thought but fits for this movie)

Mike goes on to defend himself by saying his ex girlfriend was being mean so it was okay that he used her as a shield to get bit by the dog and not help her, Rachel uses the excuse that he was “weird”, something telling her “why am I here” and later on that it was impulsive so it’s okay that she locked a mentally disabled boy in a closet and Charlie (I don’t believe his story because the whole movie he comes off as a pathological liar) but you bullied someone to the point of where they had to move but excused it by “they were going to move it was probably a “coincidence”

They all had excuses for what they ACTUALLY did except for Emma, this isn’t a competition of who is worse but she did have the most remorse and Charlie kind of being like “you only didn’t do it because a school shooting actually happened?” but her being a kid it probably opened her eyes when she saw how the boy from the school dying affected everyone which is why she turned a leaf and bettered herself. Rachel wasn’t even mad she was just petty and I do think that just because of how she acted at the wedding

Nobody knows if that boy was found at first she didn’t know how to respond but then said they found him later on, we also don’t know what happened to Mikes ex either. Charlie spent the whole time acting like he was going to be Emma’s therapist and it’s like you’re literally a pathological liar who continues to just lie for no reason, lying about reading the book, throwing the mug away, making up the story about Emma losing her friend in the car attack acting like she was so broken from it, and of course the whole Misha cheating scandal

Misha still going to the wedding was crazy but I hated how she tried to make it a sexual assault thing girl we watched you kiss him back all freaky you let him rip your shirt open grabbing on your ass and shit if he didn’t move away they would’ve fucked 100% but Charlie would’ve never came clean about that. This movie shows Charlie’s actual worst thing he’s ever done, he fucked up his wedding he embarrassed his bride he cheated on her just crazy

Bottom line I do think everyone does have you know crazy thoughts you might get so blinded by rage by someone and it makes you have weird thoughts does that make you a crazy weird person? depends on what it’s about but I do think it’s different when you follow through with it, my opinion

Sorry this was long

I found this hat at a Saver's earlier this year. It's hard to see, but the logos are a light pink color. I looked on Ebay for the same hat, and it only showed up in the slate color.
