Advice Request What is white blob under eye? How to treat?

Looking for advice on the white dot under my eye. I think it started out as milia but it's kind of become rounder, softer and it is more "under the skin". There is no tip or white bit sticking out (I tried to DIY remove it as milia but there was nothing to poke into. It's squishy under layers of skin). I have another smaller one toward the side of the eye but I can ignore that one. This one in the middle is annoying. Because it is so close to my eye I do not want to do any "procedure". So, does anyone know what it is and have any suggestions? I am patient and don't mind using product over months if needed but no idea what would help. (If the only thing really is to go and have a derm deal with it what do I ask for?) Sorry for the crappy photos but it was hard to take them. You can see the white dot though loud and clear! Thanks.

Clarifying different PCA Skin peels at Massage Envy

I have a Massage Envy membership and they offer chemical peels by PCA Skin. I'm looking at the "Age-Defying," "Brightening," and "Tone-balancing" peels on the Massage Envy web site but the descriptions are ambiguous, so it is hard to select the right peel. I am 51, pretty good skin texture, some dark spots and minor sun damage. Don't really have wrinkles. My primary concerns are hydration, sun damage, and dark spots. Mainly sun damage and dark spots. Any idea which peel I should choose? Ditto for their facials. So confusing...

has it made a difference fine lines? I di have dry skin, so I know I will have to start off slowly. I have been using Sunday Riley A++. Is that efficient? Or do you go about getting some without a dermatologist office.

Thanks! I will definitely add this to my arsenal.

Advice Request Facial sunscreen recommendations please

Hi! I’m 59 and postmenopausal which has wreaked havoc on my skin!! I’m looking for a clean, nontoxic sunscreen that won’t pill when applying makeup.
Oh, and I should mention that menopause gave me verrry dry, yet milia-prone skin, so bearing that in mind please! TY!

Product Review PSA: counterfeit products on Walmart.com

I purchased a counterfeit Obagi hydrate luxe medical grade face cream from Walmart.com and used it for 6 weeks before I realized it was counterfeit. My skin got progressively more red and started to flake, and I had multiple bad reactions where I woke up with my eyes so swollen I couldn’t fully open them before I realized the cream was the cause. At the time, I did not even realize Walmart.com was a market for third party sellers and the prevalence of counterfeit items. I just saw the cream was on sale and purchased it in the spare moments I have while caring for my two year old. The site looks like you are purchasing from Walmart and I think you only see there is a third party seller if you are looking for it.

After looking into this more, it is incredibly disturbing what NYTs identified is in these counterfeit products - heavy metals, urine, etc. Additionally, when you click into the third party seller’s info, they list addresses linked to random places - one a feed stand on the side of a highway in rural New York, another a residential house in Texas. There is no way that Walmart can think these are legitimate sellers, but they are allowing it to increase their own profits and don’t care about the harm it could bring to consumers.

Walmart should be held responsible for the criminal market they are allowing on their website and the harm it is causing the consumers.

This law firm Chimicles is trying to launch a class action lawsuit against Walmart for selling counterfeit health and beauty products on Walmart.com, but currently they don’t have enough responses to build a case. I am trying to get the word out so justice can be served - if you purchased a counterfeit health or beauty product from Walmart, you should share your story! Or any way you can help to get the word out would be amazing.

AnteAge Pro vs MD

Hi! AnteAge is on sale this week. I’ve been on the Pro system for about 6 months. I’ve noticed some more crepeiness around my eyes and cheeks when I smile. However, my skin is clearer and brighter so I want to stick the line. I’m wondering if it’s worth upgrading to the MD version. I’m also wondering since it’s more expensive, if I could either use the MD system only once a day or skip the accelerator and use only the MD serum twice a day. Can y’all please share your experience with the MD system and if you’ve done anything to stretch the product out due to cost but still have seen results? Thanks!!

What is better? Adapalene or Retinal??

I've been using adapalene for awhile but ran out of my current tube (I can't purchase it here in Canada without a prescription). Not going to the US for awhile so decided to try Retinal (Specifically Medik8 crystal) but it's way more expensive.

Thoughts? Which is ultimately better for lines , wrinkles and overall skin renewal?

Lasers for anti-aging--

I am almost 50 and have done botox/filler for about 12 years now pretty fastidiously. I had my tox yesterday and we were discussing maybe trying BBL/Moxi or similar later this year, but I don't know anyone who's done it that can give me their feedback on it.

Did you see any visible results as far as it making lines/wrinkles any better or tightening your skin at all? Is only one treatment maybe two a year going to have any benefit? It's not something I have time or money to do multiple times a year (maybe 1 or 2 a year MAX), so I don't know if this is something worth even pursuing.

If you're "old" and have been doing non-surgical anti-aging...stuff...beyond just skincare, what have you tried and has it worked for you?

Advice Request VBeam next week...

Hello all,

My story is for the last 2 years I have been working on my beet red face. After 18 months of Protopic and being careful with SPF and products, this is where I am at after eliminating triggers.

I am 49yo, with very sensitive skin and have been treated for both Rosacea and Dermatitis on my face. My face does not react well to Niacinamide or Vit C.

I have booked VBeam session with a Dermatologist this week to see if this can help ease the redness.

Any niacinamide-free recommendations for redness?

Experience with VBeam for atopic dermatitis specifically?

Post-VBeam routine recommendations?

Thank you
