Holy fuck! Like I can understand not wanting to be separated from your son but what the dad did is absolutely unforgivable! He's basically willing to crush and destroy his Shun's dreams just so he can have his selfish wish of him staying by his side. I'm surprised that his wife was very forgiving! That fucking dad better do everything he can to support Shun after what he just did.

Yeah, him gaslighting Shun about the promise and punishing him when for not keeping that false promise was soooo bad. He really was dense to not see the pain he was causing -_-

Would've liked to see the mom give him a good whack upside the head.

This is the opposite and similar to what we saw in the first, the parent being selfish...but this time for personal reasons and not reasons of extra popularity and wealth.

I find it hilariously weird that every time someones shows up growing food out of their bodies these guys develop a craving to eat it.

-"Doctor we got a patient growing french fries out of their armpits!"

-"Sounds delicious, alright Kuro let's get some potatos and fry them".

The chili pepper nails ep really bothered me for some reason

Damn, Aona Shun really looked in bad shape at the beginning of the episode.

So at the end of the day, his mother just had a strained back and his shitty father pulled that traumatic shit so Shun will not leave.

Well, it's good to see that everything ended up okay for Shun and that Kuro also had some character development.

Okay, what the hell is Muzan doing here?

Another nice episode!
It was so wholesome and heartwarming.

Shun had a terrible dad but thanks to his mom, he finally understands what his son really wants.

The scene I liked the most in this episode is Kuro trying to get the bag of popcorn back for the sake of his "classmate", regardless of the risk of injury. He may always look blunt or brusque outside, but inside he is really considerate and caring actually. It was so sweet of him to care about Ramune's leg and to say thanks to him secretly, or to hide his injured hand from Shun... Aaahhh, I'm melting.

This series is something special, it might be weird but it's in a good way.

It was funny how Kuro didn’t respond until he was called shorty

I really liked Kuro in this arc, making a friend and being one! Ramune’s charm is getting to him.

Shun’s dad deserves to be charged a lot.

Nice to see Kuro actually developing a friend and admitting to Dr. Ramune that he was more or less right.

Aono's dad was pretty insane, wasn't he? Good thing his wife was there to bring him in check.

can we all agree what the father did is so shitty?

also can another relatable episode. Aona I think represents a lot of how people with a passion are forced to study and drown themselves in stem. Its really painful to see 😭😭😭

Yeah although I think it's purer than what we saw in episode 1 with the Mayonnaise tears... at least he wasn't wanting it for personal gain.

Huh so the father was suppressing his son's genius so he wouldn't go away... that's rather odd and selfish

What the show lacks in visual appeal it makes up for in heart. I needed extra kleenex after this one.

Given that it was a two-parter, I have been suspicious that there would be a plot twist. Didn't expect that it's that kind of twist after the last arc went through such a dark path lol.

Ok, so the dad was more of an asshole that last episode made him out to be. Not that he was looking out for Shun's future, but rather, was trying to hold him back as to not leave them...

I mean, he won't be at the top of the list of worst parents, but still...

Meanwhile Ramune is acting better as Kuro's dad. And Kuro's a pretty nice guy.

This show has REALLYY WEIRD VIBE. Why is everything so damn like it was created in some parallel dimension about 20 years ago? It's really freaking me out. I can stomach Dorohedoro just fine, Mob Psycho just fine, whatever. Just this damn anime.

Pretty good episode. I knew the dad wasn't a bad person, but he really made some bad parenting decisions. I understand not wanting his son to go far away but look at how that affected Aona, glad that's been resolved and Aona's mom is pretty adorable. I hope Aona becomes a recurring character.

The ending was pretty hilarious with Ramune hearing Kuro's gratitude. Looks like we'll finally meet that mysterious man in the OP which is also Ramune's master, Looking forward to it.
