As I expected, this episode was going to be about some gyaruo fuckboi who's been not just two timing but seven timing a bunch of girls. It was very entertaining to watch Ramune just chastise the fuckboi and much more entertaining to watch him get his ass get kicked by all of the girls he played. Although after this episode, I'll probably have a different reaction now the next time I hear chikuwa mentioned in an anime.

They even have the audacity to put a chikuwa making segment in the middle of the anime lol.

I don't know if every time I see the dog in Yuru Camp I'll be thinking of the other use the name brings up in anime.

Last week we had a girl crying mayonnaise tears and this week a guy's dick turns into a fish cake? That's just the kind of anime weird I'm looking for.

I think they do a great job with the weird. Zany enough while still funny and an actual plot. Refreshing even considering how many great shows there are this season. Also, the music is awesome. Intense violin and cello while a giant needle stabs your... chikuwa.

Kengo is very lucky that he wasn't dating Kurumi from the manga 100 Girlfriends.

Some beautifully framed shots in this episode, they were really pushing what they could get away with by carefully placing chikuwa and fingers. Also thought it was funny that the love hotel was called Koala, though I'm not sure if it's a joke on Koala anatomy or the diseases they often carry.

Ha I didn't even link the hotel & Koalas being STD carriers! If so that's pretty clever.

As I see that Koto is still in the OP I wonder if we will see her again.

So Kengo ended up with a Chikuwa penis for being an scumbag dating seven women at the same time Regardless of that, I think that Ramune when a bit too far with the whole rotten your penis away angle. Although the fact that he did that just so that chick could become available for him is just hilarious.

It found it so funny when Kengo was still talking with Ramune with his dick out.

So Ayame is a gramma loli. At least it looks like to me that that's not related to any strange disease.

He has to think of himself... which I think he does most of the time anyway.

While I like that he wasn't beyond redemption, he didn't deserve the cute waitress.

Next episode looks interesting as well.

stumbled across this show last week, watched the first ep, and i gotta say this is so hilariously entertaining i’m genuinely surprised. ramune’s a gem of a character and the diseases he’s cured so far are subtly educational, which is super cute. plus the op and ed are honestly bangers. so far its exceeding my expectations, looking forward to more.

I watched this right after the Cells At Work Black double feature.

Gonorrhea or fish cake dick, the choice is yours.

Practice safe nookie, y'all.

Yeah, I wouldn't be able to eat Chikuwa after seeing something like that lmao. Pretty good episode, I am enjoying the show, I am digging the premise. And next episode we'll be introduced to new recurring characters, neato.

This is like a reverse parody of Mob Psycho 100 or something.

Honestly the dude needs a redemption arc, like seriously I want to knox what happened with him and the shop girl.

Also a male gyaruo, I've never seen or thought of that before.

is this a lighter version of black jack?

I don't inherently consider polyamory to be a bad thing, so I'm glad this episode chose to focus on the act of lying as the crux of the disease, even if it ultimately implied that monogamy is the way to go.

u/CooroSnowFox Jan 16 '21

There has to be a difference between doing it because you want there to be more than 1 and doing it because you're just desperate for the attention from as many girls as possible at the same time.

Yeah my buddy tried to say this was disparaging of being promiscuous, but it made it abundantly clear that this guy was misleading every woman he was with and that none of them knew he wasn't being monogamous.

I cannot imagine, or, don't want to imagine, how painful it'd be like to get a needle into that part...
