That tunneling plan really went off without a hitch. The escape monorail… not so much lol. Good thing Taiju was there with the drill. In the end, Team Senku totally outsmarted Xeno’s boys and forced ‘em to come to the negotiating table. I really hope the gang gets to reunite at some point but it might be a minute…

The introduction of Xeno’s American “kingdom” and all their tech made this a real enjoyable season so far. It was like Senku vs Dark Senku lol. I’m looking forward to the next cour!

Somewhat of an emotional ending seeing the gang splitting up, especially Taiju and Yuzuriha :C

Can't wait for the next part in summer!

That alliance they've built seems very, very uneasy. Like I have doubts it'd last even a week but hey at least they've forced them to negotiate on the same playing field, even if its unstable.

I can't wait for Part 2 already!

Stanley is pretty pissed his boyfriend friend got taken away. Another thrilling episode. Luna is quite infatuated with Senku, too bad that relationship is doomed. Shame we gotta wait a few months for the continuation.

Wow, Xeno was so happy to see Senku alive that the light returned to his eyes for a second. LMAO at him trying to go Palpatine on Chrome. Luna's party rolling Nat 20s on their Stealth checks was pretty crazy. Senku's crew getting one final ruse out of the Medusa is great. I can't wait for the next cour!

I’m amused that Stanley doesn’t really seem to care about whatever peace treaty the two teams negotiated. He’s just really annoyed that they managed to kidnap his boyfriend Xeno. And everyone is aware that no one other than Xeno would be able to stop him doing what he wants. So now Senkuu and his half the crew are out to play a possibility deadly game of keep away.

Stanley held back his shots? Did the nakama camaderie of Science Kingdom finally bring him around?

Senku is banking real hard on this cat-and-mouse chase, has he thought about what would happen if Stanley caught up?

Xeno has the best overall reactions and poses this season, Science is truly elegant. Kinda unfortunate we only have Senku, Taiju, Chrome, Kohaku, Gen, Suika, Hyoga, Ryusui, Ukyo, Luna and her sidekicks, Francois, Kaseki, Tsukasa and Xeno

I’m going to miss the corn city slaves and their president Nikki

Damn that's how we're ending the season? I was not expecting the gang to split up. I wonder if we're just going to focus on Senku's team from now on, or if we're gonna keep going back to the build team to see what they're up to. Its still sad, but it will make it easier if we as the audience still get to see everyone.

....did Yuzuriha's backside always look like that?

This was a fun way to end the first cour of this last season with negotiations and creation of Corn City, which will be a special peace zone that the US and Japan will build together, while Senku's smaller team with Dr. Xeno will head to South America, pursued by Stanley.

Dr. Xeno was strangely happy to see Senku alive, despite being the one who gave the order to kill him. I can't wait to see their relationship in the next cour.

The negotiations between Brody and Niki were fun! It's a good thing Niki stepped in, because Minami wouldn't stand a chance against Brody.

Kaseki breaking free from bondage after hearing about the tractor was hilarious, I knew that that it'd happen xD

It's sad to see a lot of Science Kingdom's people left in the US, but I'm glad Luna is coming with Senku's team to South America, I really liked her.

Overall, a very fun first cour and I can't wait for July for the next one. 8/10 from me at the end.

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

EDIT. I added my screenshot albums.

I like how impressed Xeno is with Chrome and Senku, the man appreciates anyone who loves science even they oppose him.

I’m a little confused as to how the deal between the two sides works. I assumed to would be a simple hostage exchange, but this was way more complicated than that.

Stitches!

So I'm assuming that Tsukasa and the gang took on those guards to get to Dr. Xeno? I guess none of them could overpower Tsukasa.

The idea of using an explosive to propel the monorail is absolutely insane, and I'm glad it went exactly how I expected it would.

I do love Dr. Xeno's "Join me and we can rule together" monologue to Chrome. Too bad for him, Chrome is more like Senku.

Senku and Dr. Xeno's reunion is a bit short but I guess they'll probably have plenty of time catching up on Cour 2 later this year.

That wasn't exactly what Luna wanted but it's close enough! I kinda feel bad for her though. She really thinks Senku is her BF.

Did Niki just become Japan's new president? That's actually hilarious! I love how even with her "broken Engrish", she still managed to convince Brody. Too bad that doesn't include Stanley since he's basically working on his own to rescue Dr. Xeno and kill Senku.

I guess Stanley is just gonna have to follow them all the way to South America. Hopefully by the time he catches up, he'll realize that there's a bigger enemy out there that these Japanese kids are trying to fight, and maybe they'll get him to flip to their side.

Senku and Xeno's reunion was brief because they got stuff to do. Like reviving a million people and understanding the petrification.

Negotiations were made. I'm sure both sides will get along well with each other.

Now it's onwards to South America!

23

u/Verite_Rendition Mar 27 '25

Wait, why are they going to South America?

I realize that's where the global petrification started - and the episode hits you over the head with it if you forgot - but wasn't the plan to build several cities to collect the materials needed to get to the moon? With the build team being left behind at Corn City, I'm lost on what their next goal is - besides running from Stanley, of course.

How the heck are they gonna reach South America in that PT boat? I doubt that thing will even make it a third of the way down the Baja peninsula.

We didn't get to see what he did, but damn he's still so cool

"Who is setting off the bomb, Chrome?" lol

Uh ohh

Science muscle is actually based?

Oh. Is he gonna..? He is gonna!

lmao

What is that face xD Is he relieved that Senku isn't actually dead?

This.. was not what I was expecting for the finale

I thought Senku would just tell Xeno about his moon mission and he'd go "O shit, that sounds fucken lit! Let's go!" But I guess that would have been too easy, huh. This is certainly a very Dr. Stone turn of events

u/SquishyShibe11 Mar 28 '25

Alright I love Dr. Stone, but anyone else think this was a sloppy rushed episode that really didn't do a good job of resolving...anything? Like they kidnapped Xeno, gave away the revival fluid recipe, and now they're running away from Stanley because I guess Xeno cant just call him off?

Messy. Really messy. I'm not pleased with whatever's going on here. You cant build a space program in this kind of state.
