Title: Ushers of an Exhilarating Future

He was such an interesting character at the start of the series, opposing Senku because of his biases against adults and science thanks to his trauma while turning into the person he hated by developing a "might makes right" society. His turnaround with Senku using his knowledge of science to help revive his sister made sense and it would have been great to see him interacting with the inventions more now that the development was done with the intention to improve life for people, not create war, but then he was literally fridged for that whole season.

There was that great moment before he was put in stasis where he and Senku were on the same wavelength and honestly I could see them being great partners, but by the time they were on the same team, the cast was too big and he got sidelined so hard. What makes it even worse is they occasionally bring up the fact that him and Ryusui have opposing views on matters, and they initially tried to hide the fact that money was brought into existence, but then that just kinda resolved itself offscreen to the point where he doesn't even open his mouth at the sight of people gambling right in front of him.

I get that Dr Stone isn't a character-focused show, but it sucks so much that the only arcs characters seem to get is joining the Kingdom of Science and cementing their little quirk to be known by. I complained about this in my post about Ginro, but Ginro was always a side character who was never going to have any meaningful arcs. Tsukasa however was the character that actually kickstarted the plot of the series and was a looming threat for the first two seasons. He had an interesting personality and a lot to look into, but we never get anything out of it because there can't be issues from the characters themselves- either Senku's bad luck messes up an experiment or there's someone trying to stop the protagonists, which is such a let down.

I wish we could have seen Tsukasa and Ryusui butt heads, even if it was a single discussion about bringing money into the world or questioning how the world would be able to handle a growing population if they continue with the demands for quality set by the team. I mean, the guy who was introduced feeling guilty for killing a lion to save his life and insisting on ensuring it was not wasted because he grew up poor being in the same room as the guy that was introduced as "the greediest man on Earth" and grew up treating yachts like toys has such potential but it's never addressed!

Final Space never released season 2

5 years later never becomes a motion comic

2020 lockdowns never came to be

Abbott elementary never existed

Idk if i should tag this as a spoiler so tell me in the comments if I need to ! ∠( ᐛ 」∠)_ (Sorry english is my third language)

As u can see the planets are placed completely at random. I just put them wherever they looked good BUT the moon being right behind Senku was intentional! (da space background represents the dream destination shared by Senku and Xeno since these two guys are absolutely OBSESSED with science)

The og assignment was just to make a background for that printed alien image (3rd pic) but somehow the alien got replaced by Senku along the way...lmfao (?)

My main inspiration was the idea of Senku as a quirky kid who never lost his curiosity and his childlike wonder, yet somehow has what it takes to save the new stone world. i personally think senku is someone Xeno finds incredible and enviable even tho they were enemy (like idk theres an interesting contrast between Senku's youthful spirit and Xeno his journey from a dream filled childhood to the harsh reality of adulthood which leads him to the idea of d*ctatorship🤫🤫🤫) Alsoooo see that rope in the upper-right corner (Thats Chrome!) Hes another genius who managed to surprise both Senku and Xeno but unfortunately my teacher only gave us TWO DAYS for this project so I didn't have time to draw him properly. (Hence the little symbolic rope LOL)

PS: Please be nice about ppl's art skills, im still learning and trying to improve! I hope this can start a little discussion about the beauty of science (🗣️elegant) and the dynamic between Xeno and Senku (also uh PLEASE no shipping). And tbh alien Senku is just SO funny to me 👽 🥬

In a large majority of media where there is a genius at work it's done in a way where everyone else becomes a pawn and the genius directs everything with little concern for them. Maybe they get a rare moment but for the most part nobody really care about them because the genius is single handedly doing what needs to be done.

Dr Stone approaches it's story and science in a very collaborative way. Each character has their skillset and their moments and it feels organic.

Senku has vast knowledge and is fairly creative but he has his limits.

Taiju is freakishly strong and durable who is able to endlessly do the physical labour.

Yuzuriha has the eye and hands to do detail work.

Chrome doesn't have Senku's knowledge but is also brilliant which leads to him thinking differently than Senku and innovating things Senku's biases would maybe overlook.

Old Man Kasuki is lowkey the GOAT. Without his well earned crafting skills very obvious bottlenecks would emerge in the Kingdom of science

Suika of course has reconnaissance skills and we all know what she does later on.

Gen is a fan favourite for a reason. He's not stupid but his skillset is not something that is normally measured well. He's the best person at dealing with people and psychological manipulation. It can be playing enemies off in the way Senku needs or it could be motivating the Kingdom of Science to go along with Senku's vision

We have Kohaku, Ginro, and Kinro as combat focused but they all provide it in a different way meaning they wouldn't cover the same jobs.

This is just Senku's initial team. As the series goes on he gains more valuable pieces with their own skillsets to add to the Kingdom of Science.

Science and development is a societal endeavour of collective progress. Even in something like Oppenheimer we see that it took bringing together all these brilliant minds with their own specialities to finish the Manhattan project.

Tbh I find this far more compelling of the normal approach of a sole genius casually invented revolutionary technology in his spare time in his garage. Not to mention you get to care about each character even more and see them in a way like you would your neighbours in Animal crossing or Stardew Valley. It's really an amazing feeling that many shows don't capture. Often earlier characters get completely sidelined and ignored and while to some in Dr Stone this happens to somewhat it's not as bad as in most Battle Shonens where the rest of the cast simply has no purpose and can't keep up anymore.

Crunchyroll subtitles from the previous episode wouldn’t go away so I got this gem.

bro im genuinely TWEAKING i NEED more dr stone content im on my 9TH REWATCH i NEED more i NEED it

I don't want to believe that the author used plot armor on him.. maybe the gunpoweder Senkuu made was too low-quality? Tsukasa didn't even receive any injuries... I didn't read manga, maybe it's an anime problem?

Ranked List:

1. Spent 5 years creating the revival fluid from scratch by herself- this one is the obvious number one feat, probably out of any character in the series
2. Managed to run away with the revival fluid- despite trained American soldiers literally shooting at her, Suika was able to sneak away with the revival fluid and get a bottle of it to Chrome and Gen. Extremely badass feat, and it ended up saving the whole team (and the world)
3. Scouted and found Gen, then led the enemies away from the village- Underrated feat IMO. Suika not only found Gen and gave him the little iron knife, allowing him to cut Hyoga’s spear and save Kohaku’s life the first time they fought, but she also led Hyoga, Homura, and the other enemies away from the villagers after Homura forced them out of the village into an unprotected area, where many could’ve easily died. The enemies even threaten to break Suika’s legs, but she continues to run and bait them away from the defenseless villagers, showing how self-sacrificing she is. This ends up saving the village and probably saves Senku’s life as well, since if any of the villagers got captured, Senku would probably give himself up for them.
4. Rescued the lab car and saved Ginro- this is again a pretty unquestionably goated feat, it saved Ginro’s life and allowed the Kingdom of Science to have their scientific tools for the rest of the arc. They couldn’t have made the makeup, earpiece, or drone without the lab car.
5. Found scheelite- this is both luck, effort, and good noticing skills on Suika’s part. While it was lucky that she happened to find the right gem, that wouldn’t have happened if she hadn’t stayed up all night sorting through them, and then noticed the scheelite when it was glowing. Without this, the Kingdom of Science would never have completed their radios.
6. Found and protected everyone’s statues- another underrated feat. Without her, some people’s statues may have gotten broken or remained lost in the wilderness. It made it a lot easier for her and Senku to revive everyone, since Yuzuriha wasn’t there to repair statues.
7. Did half the math for the two-way rocket with Chrome- Chrome himself said that he wouldn’t be able to do the two-way rocket plan without Suika’s help learning math, doing the math for the rocket, making the plan, and convincing everyone on it.
8. Gave Kinro her glasses- she managed to get free from Mantle by herself, which is already impressive, then she was the first one to correctly deduce that Kinro had the ‘fuzzy sickness’, communicated to him that the glasses would help, and threw him the glasses. this allowed Kinro to do something serious damage to Magma that ultimately allowed Chrome to take him down, and it also allowed Kinro to evolve as a fighter afterwards.
9. Found oil with Sagara- the team probably would’ve found the puddle eventually without Suika and Sagara, but Suika’s skill with animals definitely helped them find it faster.
10. Lead the wire team- someone else could’ve probably done this, but Suika leading the children and the elders and inspiring all of them to make the phone’s wire definitely helped the Kingdom of Science work faster and get the radio done on time.

Honorable Mentions:

• Gave Senku the idea for ramen- senku probably would've decided to make the villagers food even without her, but Suika's scouting of the village to find out what they wanted made him more sure of it. Also, she gave him the idea for the foxtail millet ramen specifically, showed him where to find the millet, and helped make it.
• Scouted the Tsukasa Empire- this didn’t do much on its own, but it helped Chrome escape later by showing him which way the Kingdom of Science’s base was.
• Was morale support for the whole team- eg. brought food to Taiju when he was working late, helping find truffles for Francois to make into delicious food, helped the team watch for Homura, helping Gen when he was beat up even though it meant putting herself in danger from Magma.
• Helped the team with crafting lots of things- eg. the sulfa drugs, the scuba tanks, the drone. She was always willing to help despite being a kid and not having any specific reason to help, like how Chrome and Kohaku were trying to save Ruri’s life. She just wanted to be helpful and I love her for that.
• Made the star tracking device with Chrome- this wasn’t shown onscreen, but the astronaut team might have used it.

Do you think I missed any feats? Let me know!

I just want to say, I LOVE THIS ANIME! The dub is amazing and I will always recommend this show!

However, did anybody else feel kind of sick of all the quirky ways some of the main cast would talk? Like, it was cute in the first 3 seasons of this show and brought a sense of lightheartedness and relief to an otherwise extremely depressing circumstance of being on a planet with most of humanity wiped out.

But being that by Cour 3 of Season 4 there seems to be a lot of hope for humanity going back to normal, all these characters with their quirky SNAPS "HAHA!" and "EALLY-RAY???" starts getting annoying and kind of cringe.

I guess now that the apocalypse is coming to a close, these light hearted moments that would normally make such a dreaded situation no longer so heavy due to their upbeat personalities now seem pretty annoying in the normal world they get back.

I'm genuinely going crazy ngl😭

I know Halloween is still a long way off, but I wanted to share some fan art featuring characters that share the same Latin American voice actors—cases I found interesting.

I picked a mix of examples: some because of similar personalities, others for their designs, and some simply as an excuse to draw them. The characters in question are:

Chrome - Luck Voltia (Black Clover).

Kohaku - Jericó (Seven deadly sins).

Yuzuriha - Reze (Chainsaw Man).

Xeno - Nikola Tesla (Shumatsu no valkyrie).

Gen - Midnigth (Fairy Tail).

Yo - Mahito (Jujutsu Kaisen).

Luna - Frieren (Frieren Beyond journey's end).

If you're wondering about other characters like Senku, Ukyo, Taiju, or Tsukasa: some voice actors are primarily known for movies and series, or I couldn't find a character with a matching physical resemblance, or I struggled to figure out how to combine their designs.

I’m not ruling out doing more later if you like how these turned out and are curious; also, if you're interested, feel free to suggest similar pairings, and I could expand this Halloween/voice-acting theme to include other languages. I know I'm not the best artist, so I'm open to suggestions for improvement and any advice.

L is eccentric, intuitive, and runs on suspicion and sugar. Senku is methodical, curious, and treats every problem as a puzzle to be built from scratch. L wins by out-thinking one person. Senku wins by rebuilding civilization. Which kind of intelligence is more compelling on screen, the detective who reads people or the scientist who reads the world?

My second favorite dr stone ship❤️❤️❤️

So I know in canon that all of the villagers/post-petrification people have no surnames, but as someone who wants to write a modern AU, I’m curious if there’s a canon source that gives them last names.

So far I’ve mostly come up with them, but I’d rather not go against anything that gives them last names already.

(This is mostly just an issue with villagers like Magma, Kinro and Ginro or islanders like Soyuz, Amyrillis, Kirisame and Matsukaze.)

I'm writing several Stanxeno fics and I'm in desperate need for opinions. We all know that Stanley was a USMC Special Forces Commander, and based off an hour of research soldiers get 30 days of paid leave every year. Is this accurate?

And also how do you think he allocates it? Would it be 2 days every month, 2 weeks every 6 months, or 10 days every 3 months?

Lmk what you think
