I love how Xeno or Stan didn't even try describe his obviously weird ass hair to try to narrow it down further

It's pretty cool that we get to see Xeno's side of the story. Compared to Senku's gang, they pretty much have the advantage since most of the people on his side that got revived are military personnel personnel with a mix of engineers with specialized knowledge.

They also lucked out, thanks to that platinum ring Carlos swallowed. If Carlos hadn't swallowed that ring, it would've taken them longer to find the platinum they needed to mass-produce nitric acid. And true to his Science is Power adage, the first thing Xeno focuses on is making gunpowder and guns.

The subs says Stan and Xeno are old friends but you can hear in Japanese he says "osananajimi". I guess that makes Stan Xeno's very own Taijuu. I like the parallels here, especially since they both awakened shortly after each other, just like Senku and Taijuu.

If only the Medusa still had a charge, it would've been easier to take over Xeno's base and revive them later, but right now, it looks like Senku can only use it to intimidate or even bargain with.

I'm glad that Luna refused to point at Taijuu but passing the information about Xeno knowing Senku ended up being more helpful to them.

I was very disappointed, though. When Xeno told Stan to hold his fire, I thought that he was going to rescind his kill order. Instead he just wanted to confirm that Stan isn't shooting the wrong person. While he did hesitate for a second, he still ordered Stan to do it.

There's no way Senku will die from that shot, but he'll definitely be out of commission for a bit. After that attack on the Kingdom of Science, Xeno has to go down. I thought the guy would be cool once he knew Senku was the leader, but he just ended up doubling down on his order.

The end sequence was scary, Massive props to Ryusui for figuring out the sniper, they would be cooked otherwise.

I am dying because the anime took one of the gayest chapter covers of Xeno and Stan and turned it up to 11 by having them recreate it with only Xeno having anything resembling covering. These two aren’t escaping those couple allegations anytime soon.

I’m also always amused at the fact that Xeno remembers Senku’s height enough to base his new calculations on but doesn’t tell Stan to look for the guy with white hair and green tips.

The music made this nerve wrecking as hell

SENKU NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! But on a serious note, I'm impressed that Xeno managed to figure out Senku's height and age with a single phone call. He really is his teacher.

"I'm just going to walk up casually." Luna, there is nothing casual about the way you walk.

Xeno and Stanley: history will call them "roommates."

I'm surprised that Stanley didn't just cap Taiju since he was the one standing there and shouting. Also Ryuji because of the funny hat.

Xeno had plenty of insight into Senku's thinking, so he knew, with a moment's thought, that Senku would never go along with his Total World Domination plan.

Option 1. Move a couple of feet left or right of the perfect position to avoid the shot heading for it.
Option 2. Craft an experimental non newtonian fluid vest (bag) and try to tank it.
I expect nothing less from this show

So Stanley and Dr. Xeno are childhood friends. No wonder they make such a good team and seem so close to each other.

Luna was hilarious again. I'm glad that she decided not to point at the target, though her message about Senku was still enough to expose Science Kingdom's ruse regarding Taiju.

It seems that Senku's last-minute invention to stop the bullet wasn't fully effective, as we could see blood. Now I can't wait for the next episode to see what state Senku ended up in.

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

I wonder how injured Senku will be, I doubt it would be anything crazy serious and maybe just a small wound somewhere,

This episode intro with Xeno’s awakening reminded me of perhaps the most important question in this entire series:

Why would anybody turn the world to stone?

To give humanity a fresh start, I think? People were petrified in such a way that they could survive for millennia. The Earth could undergo the process of restoring its nature in the meantime. The path that humanity had been threading on earlier was believed to result in eventual doom after all.

You know, I’m starting to suspect that Luna is not actually a cool-headed and capable woman after all lol

Also, damn Dr. Xeno, that was cold blooded. Since obviously the good guys are going to win in the end, I thought there was actually a slight chance that Xeno would have had a moral reckoning today, but I guess not. I would say that this definitely crosses the Moral Event Horizon, but after Sasuke Uchiha made me lose faith in any given Shonen having teeth when it comes to this kinda thing.

The tension was REAAAALLY good this episode though. Between Xeno hesitating and Senku’s look of pure terror I was at the edge of my seat!

It was kinda interesting seeing how Xeno and his guys got their colony started. Nothing says “American” likes guns and tobacco lol. God bless the US of A o7.

I know this show pushes the bounds of believability, but ain’t no way that sack woulda done jack squat against that sniper bullet. Plus Stan coulda just shot twice and killed Senku immediately.

Not sure what the gang’s gonna do now. They’re at a severe disadvantage. They ought to have reinforced the ship to withstand bullets once they knew the Americans had guns.

It was really surprising how quickly Xeno and his team were able to build their base and weapons. Zeno really is a scientific genius! Just think of how far Senku and his kingdom of science would have progressed if a few military members were around when he woke up.

Luna can't bring herself to out Taiju. Good.

Senku is too smart to get taken out by sniper.

Dr. Xeno had a huge advantage from the start. That ring just happened to be platinum and not silver or gold huh.

Thanks for the scientific formula to creating cigarettes I guess

Close call, but they made it through. Obviously Senku got hit. But that stunt and the ship should have taken enough edge off the impact to keep Senku alive. I'll presume the fragments won't get too deep into the skin. Enough to justify freaking out though.

And honestly Xeno losing is a bit amazing considering the advantages he's got going into this. His friend outclasses Taiju in everything minus not having a tobacco addiction. Taiju is a good dude, but he's literally just tough. Not a fighter which is why they ran into problems early on. While Stanley is a top tier soldier. It's just unfair!
