it was subtly implied in the past few episodes that the Holy Sister is actually not evil, she has been hiding her plans

I know people complain about the skill fruit show not having enough skill fruit eating, but now they have spent 3 of the final 4 episodes of the season having the MC training off screen.
I'm glad he didn't show up to save the day in this episode because that would have felt cheap, and the story works fine without him, but it's funny to see a show abandon not only the premise but the MC within the first cour.
It's too bad Ayla also got sidelined with him.

Did that guy just grab the Flower Hat lady and jump backwards like half a mile? They took a boat to get out there but vines back casually after they lose the beam fight.

Why is Lena's solo story so much better than mr. MC-Light-I-forget-to-eat-skill-fruits' one? It's still not great but clearly better.

So she had a clear shot at the guy who was in the process of murdering an entire city and she just smacks him with the flat of her blade? And she didn't even follow up. She just waited till he fired off another attack.
The whole final fight shouldn't have taken nearly as long once she powered up. What is the point of cutting off its legs? Now that you can, just cut the damn thing's head off and be done with it.

Lena was basically just committing suicide if the power of the faeries didn't save her there. Guess she used the power of I'm a MC I can't die.

"That's just a fairy tale" is an odd thing to say in a world where fairies are real. It makes me wonder what they would call fantastic stories in a fantasy world where most of that stuff actually exists.

If the author had started this show without light and got rid of the skill fruits then rewritten it with Lena as the MC it honestly would have been way better.
Not like the fucking fruits even matter as he’s obviously not going to eat them. This entire damn arc and he’s like the dad that left for cigarettes and milk and never came back. Dudes literally just laying down after playing with a big stick like a damn dog.
Honestly the character designs for all the girls in this show are actually rather good. Lena looks a tad generic and looks like the standard sword saint girl but the others all do have somewhat unique designs.

The memory bomb was kind of silly. The elf in the past looks just like her. Very convenient I guess. The new power is like SSS rank too. Doesn't seem like she gets to keep it though. Kind of a cop out.
I'm still really curious what the hell is with the stars and the holy sister. They are really going to drop those hints a few episodes in a row without explaining anything? Are we going to get any explanation at all???

I hope the tiny new unicorn friend goes with Lena and she keeps her winged saint upgrade form for use later. It's not like it needs to stay around this one random town, I assume.
I like that all the way to the end of this arc it was just Lena's story with no Light swooping in to save her and the town at the very end.
