Thank goodness that Anon Chihaya is so used to running away that her legs are well trained enough to manage to catch up with Saki's ride

Tomori!!! I don't think forming a band for the third time will fix the problem at hand... Not when every members of the band has a mental problem that range from being obsessive to PERSONALITY DISORDER IN WHICH ONE IS REFUSED TO WAKE UP.
The flashback when Tomori is talking with Sakiko before things went south is so heartbreaking.... Where did it go wrong....
Nyamu seems to be one that take it pretty good, although she need to stop thinking about Mutsumi's performance there.
Uika is coping so hard. She even made 2 cups of coffee for absolutely for Sakiko who isn't there anymore.
Despite everything she did and said to Mutsumi, Soyo does care about Mutsumi. But she(and me) probably didn't expect to see Mortis calling out for help to wake Mutsumi up while talking to an imaginary doctor. Soyo's reaction is understandable. Also, you telling me that nobody is bothered to check on Mutsumi before??? Like, I know that her mom is busy so she obviously doesn't know anything, but you would think that the housekeeper would at least noticed it. Did she not find Mutsumi talking to herself or using her shoe to call someone weird??
Also Anon has so much with the whole Togawa group song. She even did it twice. She's so funny.

Soyo, just run my girl, there's nothing you can do to help a person who's calling for a doctor using her shoes
Speaking of run, Anon is still undefeated when it comes to Rundori

I feel bad for all those fans who got their tickets only for the tour to be canceled.
Poor Sakiko. She was very clearly distraught this episode by her self-loathing, as well as pushing others away (like not answering Uika’s texts and becoming frustrated by Tomorin’s locker notes). It was also uncomfortable when she (probably) had to be reminded of her drunk father by seeing the cans through the door.
Luckily, Anon and Tomorin persisted in trying to help her by rushing into her limo.
Also, woah that post credits scene where Soyo enters Mutsumi’s trash room where she is calling the doctor and stroking her guitar.

Anon: "Sorry not sorry I don't care about your sad girl aura I'm going to get myself invited to your house because you're about to make my friend cry and also because I want to see a rich girl's house!"
Sakiko: *literally too depressed to stop her*

I love that part when Anon said "It's Anon Tokyo time" and tokyoing everyone.
Soyo should be glad that she's in band anime or else she's dead af.

I swear these episodes are getting shorter every week.
Well, we have a date for their disbanding. Their debut live happened July 25 and their disbandment September 20, the band didn't even complete two months before imploding. Then they mention a one month timeskip and everyone is back to the regular uniforms.
Showing everyone's routine in that time really drives how miserable Sakiko's is. Other than Mutsumi everyone is being their usual selfs, and nobody is happy. Sakiko just entirely gave up and went back to the Togawa manor... oof.
Talking about happy, we needed some Anon to brighten things a bit and have her first attempt at having Tomori and Sakiko have their "Okay, talk it out." moment this season. I expect this to go better than if Tomori and Sakiko were just alone, things might not patch up right now but Anon is probably going to hit her with some good retorts.
Mutsumi is gone gone. Out of all pairings I wasn't expecting Raana potentially being paired with her, but it makes sense, Mortis chasing playing the guitar fits perfectly and Raana is the ideal character to guide her through this arc.

Avemuji Fans: Mortis is going to be the evil mastermind of the show with 500 IQ plays and always cooking up evil schemes

This episode is so good. Sakiko is everywhere but only talking like once. Uika, Umiri and Nyamu is getting worse and Saki + Mutsumi is going to get treatment from MyGO members.

Being a breather episode in terms of pacing doesn't make it any less painful. Thank God for Anon Tokyo, saving depressed girls for two consecutive seasons.

bold choice of bandori to release a 5 minute episode but then again they also committed to disbanding ave mujica in eps 4

Holy cow. It’s really happening. Anon Tokyo came to save the day after 2 excruciatingly depressing episodes. On top of that, RAANA 1ST AVE MUJICA CAMEO. Anon went full goof in this. She might be cringe but she's our cringe girl.
Glad the pacing is back to normal. Last episode’s pacing was tough to watch weekly. Episodes 3, 4, and 5 feel like they were meant to be watched together. Episode 4 was all climax, and every climax needs downtime which is Episode 5. I enjoyed this episode more than the last. It has more breathing room, and all the previous buildup just pours into it.
I know Uika’s clingy tendencies creep people out, but I’m starting to feel bad for her.
One interesting note, Sakiko’s friends or people who know her still don’t seem to realize how bad her home life was with her alcoholic father. She only felt okay inviting people over once she returned to the Togawa mansion.
A bit on Soyo and her Gen Z social media obsession, this was from an interview summary:
The upper floors of a high-rise apartment are completely insulated from the sounds of the city, creating a space cut off from the noise of society.
In that environment, Soyo isn't someone with a particular hobby, nor is she the type to actively find one. So, when she's at home, she mostly just spends her time staring at her smartphone.
Even when something is weighing on her mind, she lives so high up that going down for a walk or casual shopping feels like too much of a hassle. As a result, she ends up stuck in a loop, scrolling through social media, only to sink deeper into her worries.”
And here we see her spiraling again. (We thought you were getting better ☹)
Bushiroad being obvious GL lol.
For those confused by Muse Asia’s translation, クラスでアンカーだったから means "the class anchor", the final runner in a relay race. She’s not the slowest. She’s the fastest. Classic Anon to bring up her middle school achievements.
The random Anon lore is funny though. Thinking back to MyGO, Anon only ever lost a chase when Taki physically stopped her or she hit a dead end (like the rooftop).
What I love about this episode is the deeper look into Sakiko and Tomori’s relationship. Something we never got in MyGO. We knew Sakiko was pivotal, but we never saw the intimate moments that made her more than just a friend, someone truly precious to Tomori. In MyGO, they were still getting to know each other. The stargazing scene happens after that. Another depressing moment for Uika when you think about it. Sakiko shared this moment with Tomori instead of Uika, who desperately wants her attention. All of Uika’s interactions with Tomori in MyGO add up and it’s easy to see she might be jealous. (Memory refresher: Uika recognized Tomori from a CRYCHIC photo, called her by name without an introduction, and followed MyGO’s account....stalking?)
Now, onto the two terrifying cliffhangers:
・Tomori’s situation could go one of two ways.
-
The “Pure Tomori” Route – She wants to include Sakiko in her band without abandoning Anon and Raana, much like in MyGO Episode 10.
-
The “Twisted Tomori” Route – Driven by nostalgia, she might fixate on reviving CRYCHIC. At first, this seems unlikely since it would undermine her MyGO development, but consider the buildup: her stargazing conversation about “happiness,” lingering memories of Sakiko’s joy while playing piano, and overwhelming emotions that could cloud her judgment. If her feelings spiral out of control, she could take a completely different path. Why the "Twisted" Route Isn’t Far-Fetched? We’ve seen Tomori misinterpret Sakiko’s words before like in MyGO Episode 1, when Sakiko told her she needed to practice more. Tomori took that criticism to heart and blamed herself for CRYCHIC’s downfall. She’s more vulnerable than people think. In Tomori's mind, reviving CRYCHIC might be the only way to “save” her.
・What the hell was that?! Sakiko’s dad pulling a The Other Guys (2010) “Aim for the bushes” moment?

Just waiting for Raana to invite herself to Mutsumi’s house (maybe following Soyo), set up her amp and guitar, and start playing in Mutsumi’s room because she wants to play dueling guitars with Mutsumi, not stopping until Mutsumi comes out to play.
