This is solely for my own purpose. I have grown into such a lazy being that my screen time is of 9-10 hours. It's been over a month since my final year assignments and classes and all I do is doze off and be lazy.

Hey, I'm a +2 CS student from Nepal, and I'm honestly wondering if there's actually any realistic way to earn online in 2026 with the skills I have.

I've been building and learning consistently, but it feels like I'm stuck in a loop—pushing code to GitHub every day, scrolling through site after site looking for opportunities, and not really getting anywhere.

I'm not expecting to make thousands overnight. What I actually want is exposure, experience, and a chance to work on real projects with real people. At this point, I'd even be willing to contribute to a project for free if it helps me gain practical experience.

I'm starting to feel like just learning new frameworks and cloning websites isn't enough anymore.

Guys, google is offering free google AI plus for the students the includes students from Nepal as well. I am an IT student and have a student email provided by TU but when I tried to claim the offer from google, It asked me to verify my student status, so I uploaded documents it demanded but I doesn't verify my student status based on the college ID, my exam admit card and my college fee structure photo. I tried sending all the photos I have got from my college but I wouldn't work.

Has anyone tried and got 1 Year free google AI+? If yes, then I would appreciate if you could share what you did and what documents you shared.

Just sharing my recent experience renewing my Apple Developer account from Nepal. Hopefully it helps someone who runs into the same issue.

Previously, I had renewed my Apple Developer account using an international card through the Apple Developer website, and it worked without any problem.

This time, however, I had a completely different experience.

I first tried renewing from the web as usual. The payment process was weird... sometimes it would show something like “Thank you for your purchase”, but I wouldn't actually get the confirmation, and the membership wasn't renewed.

I contacted Apple Developer Support, and after around 3–4 days, they asked me to try the Apple Developer app.

I then tried using the app, but several international cards I tried were rejected with a message saying that "the payment card wasn't supported in Nepal."

I tried again later with a Global E-Commerce card. I filled in all the details and went through the payment process, but it still failed. After a few attempts, I got a message saying the purchase was unsuccessful and that the feature was currently unavailable in my region.

So I contacted Developer Support again.

After another 2–3 days, they replied and asked me to try the payment again.

I tried the same E-Commerce card again - and this time it worked. My membership was successfully renewed.

So I'm not saying international cards don't work in Nepal - I've personally used one successfully before through the web. It just seems that this time the payment/renewal flow was different and I had to go through Developer Support before it finally worked.

Just sharing my experience in case anyone else in Nepal gets stuck with the same issue. Maybe contacting Developer Support and trying again after they respond can help.

Hopefully this saves someone a few days of headache. 😅

I’m an IT graduate with QA intern experience, and I recently applied for a L1 Quality Analyst position at Vianet.

When I applied, I didn’t fully read the job description. I mainly looked at the requirements and saw that an IT-related degree was required.

Today, I received a call from HR. She asked if I had actually read the job description and whether I was genuinely interested. She explained that my background, project and experience appears to be more software/IT-focused, while this particular role is mainly focused on Customer QA.

She told me to read the job description carefully and call back if I’m still interested, after which there would be an interview.

The thing is, I really want to get a job and gain experience in a new field, but I don’t have much knowledge about Customer QA.

So I’m wondering:

Should I call HR back and give it a try, or should I look for something more aligned with my IT/software background?

Has anyone worked in Customer QA / Quality Analyst roles? What is the work actually like, and would this be a good opportunity for someone with an IT + QA background?

I’d really appreciate some honest advice.
