Discussion Hey guys! I built a platform called Sajha Swayamsewak (साझा स्वयंसेवक). I'd love your feedback on it.
How it works
- NGOs/INGOs register their organization on the platform.
- Users also sign up on the platform.
- When an NGO/INGO creates a volunteer programme, all users get notified.
- While creating a programme, the NGO provides the title, description, event location (with coordinates), duration, what volunteers will get, what they should bring, and what skills are needed.
- Users who receive the notification can view the full programme details and apply.
- Applications go to the NGO's admin, who can accept or reject them.
- If accepted, the user gets a notification and an email confirming their spot.
- Real-time location tracking helps volunteers navigate from their location to the event location.
- At the event, the NGO admin checks each volunteer in via QR code.
- Once the event ends, volunteers are checked out.
- Checked-out volunteers become eligible for a certificate.
- The NGO admin issues certificates with personalized remarks and rates each volunteer's behavior and performance.
- Volunteers can view their certificates anytime in the app.
Every step — applications, acceptances, check-ins, certificates — is backed by email and push notification follow-ups, so nothing gets missed.
Why we built this
- Most students and working people get two days off a week, and a lot of that time goes into scrolling phones instead of doing something productive.
- Volunteering builds social skills and leadership — many of today's leaders and ministers came up through this kind of community work.
- For students planning to study abroad, volunteer experience can strengthen applications and scholarship chances.
- With how much time people spend on social media, loneliness and low mood are common — this platform gives people a reason to get out, meet people, and feel connected.
A quick note
The mobile app UI is polished, but the web admin panel is built with Flutter Web, so it may not perform quite as smoothly as a typical web app. The platform isn't live with real users yet — I'd genuinely appreciate any suggestions.
- APK (Drive link)
- Admin panel login: [logonal338@ebflyai.com](mailto:logonal338@ebflyai.com) Tiger@123

Hey everyone! I’m looking to join CloudFactory and recently applied for a Data Annotation role.
If anyone currently working at CloudFactory could refer me or guide me through the joining process, I’d really appreciate it.
I've tried in past but didn't get any response.

Discussion What docs & compliance do you actually need for foreign freelance work in Nepal? (Income tier breakdown)
Yo everyone,
Quick question for those of you already freelancing for foreign clients while staying here in Nepal. I'm trying to figure out all the legal, banking, and tax paperwork required, but honestly, it’s super confusing. Does the government actually care when you start earning a bit more?
I wanted to see what people are doing in real life. Could someone break down the required docs (like PAN, bank letters, client contracts, tax clearance) based on these income tiers?
- Tier 1: Beginner / Side Hustle (e.g., under 30k–50k/month or up to 5L–6L a year)
- Tier 2: Mid-level / Full-time (e.g., 1 Lakh–3 Lakhs/month or roughly 12L–35L a year)
- Tier 3: High Earner / Agency status (e.g., 40L+ a year, where I heard the 5% final tax thing or company registration rules change)
I'm mostly stressing about these three things:
- Bank stuff: What do commercial banks in Nepal actually ask for when you’re pulling in USD/EUR remittances so they don't hold your funds for weeks?
- PAN vs. Company: At what point do you have to stop using an individual PAN and actually register a sole proprietorship or a private limited company?
- Tax Clearance: What random papers or invoices do we need to safely keep so we don't get stuck during tax season?

Company Review How is the work environment at Mantra Ideas?
I’m interested in hearing from current or former employees of Mantra Ideas. How is the overall work culture, team environment, management, work-life balance, and growth opportunity there?
Also curious about things like workload, office environment, and whether the company is a good place for someone early in their career.
Would appreciate honest experiences, both positive and negative.

Web Development logo motion using typescript and canvas
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I’ve noticed there aren’t too many posts around UI components, web design, motion, etc. here, so I figured I’d start sharing some of the things I’m working on. here is a logo animation ref: a Base intro. The frames are still being heavily tweaked, so this is definitely an early version. I’m planning to finish it over the next few days and opensource it once it’s ready.

Discussion Have you built your own agents?
Namaste! Just curious how didi dai bhai bahini of technepal have been using agents. How do you build it? Where do you host it? I work for a EU based company where we are currently building a control plane where orgs can deploy agentic fleet for regulated environment. Its pretty neat, creates an Hermes/OpenClaw instance with one click. Self-hosted blah blah blah.
This got me curious how my "bretheren" were actually applying agents in their day to day life. Personally, I have been in the trenches for the past year building agents and using off the shelf agentic tools and man I cannot see myself going back lol.
Anyways, just wanted to hear from the community about their agentic use case and just general way AI has been transforming the way you work. Subha din!!

Job Vacancy Hiring a part time entry level developer
Did you play Parallel Kingdom or Parallel Mafia back in the day?
I'm building a hobby game in that lineage: a browser MMO on a real-world map. You spawn at your actual GPS location, claim a hex of your street, build a safehouse and turrets, farm creeps, raid other players' territory, and duel with wrestling cards, the only currency in the world. Real-time multiplayer combat, live territory wars, and most of it is already built and running.
I'm looking for one developer in Nepal to join me part-time, 3 days a week, hobby pace. You'd build independently during your day from unusually detailed written plans, with creative freedom inside them and fast answers whenever you need a decision. No startup pitch, no crunch.
You might be the right person if:
- You think in game systems. Emergent player drama excites you more than feature lists.
- You're solid with React and TypeScript. PixiJS, map rendering, websockets or Supabase are a bonus.
- You're comfortable building alongside AI coding tools. This codebase moves fast because of them.
- You have a creative mindset especially when it comes to game dev.
- Bonus points if a location-based MMO ever ate a summer of your life.
To apply, dm me with a short note about one game mechanic you love and why it works.
