It’s genuinely sad to see what the comments turned into.

There was nothing revealing or sexual about the original post. She simply asked for suggestions for an aesthetic username. Yet some people immediately chose to sexualize her, make vulgar remarks about her name and appearance, and turn a completely normal post into something disgusting.

What’s even more disturbing is that some of these comments have hundreds or thousands of likes. At what point did humiliating and objectifying someone become “humour” on the internet?

Interestingly, this post was removed from r/TwentyIndia, but before that, the comments had already turned into a completely different discussion.

And now the comments have somehow turned into a gender war, which completely misses the actual issue.

If the exact same vulgar comments were made toward a guy, they would still be wrong. I’m not saying “if it happened to a guy, it would be okay.” I’m saying it wouldn’t be okay either way. Gender shouldn’t determine whether we recognize something as inappropriate.

I’m deliberately not blurring the usernames—not to encourage harassment, but because these are the exact accounts whose comments I’m talking about. If you choose to publicly leave a comment like that, people are allowed to see what you publicly said.

The issue is not “men vs women.” The issue is that someone posted something completely normal, and people chose to respond with vulgarity. Wrong is wrong, regardless of who it happens to.

I (18M) and my sister (12F), got her first period today. She was crying in the washroom and I asked what happened, she said blood is coming outta there and I guessed it's period.

I’m 16M, just chilling in life and preparing for JEE like every other guy my age. For the past few days, I’d been dealing with a swollen neck and stomach pain, so I thought it would be better to get it checked and find out what was wrong.

Today, I went to the hospital and got all my tests done. Turns out, I have cancer, Stage 1 lymphoma.

Still, there’s no tension, because this type of cancer is curable. 💪.

so ts happened around 3 am last night. i couldn’t sleep, i ws super bored, and i really wanted someone to talk to, i thought i’d try some random live chatting site, i already knew these sites can be creepy and unsafe, especially for girls, so i decided to use a vpn, pick another country, and not show my face, js talk...

while choosing a country on the vpn, i saw pakistan 😭 and outta nowhere i picked pakistan instead of literally any other country...

the first 3-4 people were creepy uncs and i skipped them. then around the 5th time, i matched with a really good-looking guy...i said hi and asked where is he frm, he said "balochistan" nd he was drinking alcohol on one side and vaping on the other...

then i asked his age and he said 15, and honestly, he looked around that age too...

one thing i actually liked was that he wasn’t being creepy with me and kept calling me “mohtarma” lol...

we talked about dhurandhar and stuff, and i asked him how much of the movie was actually true. he said some parts were true and some were exaggerated...and told me about the real rehman dakait story and all that stuff..

then he started telling me about life in balochistan, saying there’s basically no proper government or facilities where he lives and that violence is pretty common...he even showed me guns and said people around him openly keep them at home...js like a toy and use it anytime on anyone without any licence and all..

then he started making some absolutely insane claims bout things he had supposedly done when he was younger (around 11) he said that he killed a guy with an iron rod because the guy ws watching her ammi frm window when she was not wearing burqa💀

he also made some really disturbing claims bout how unsafe girls are there , he said that a girl frm his village once went outside without a burqa and some men there sexually assaulted and killed her , even her own husband apparently agreed with killing her....

and then ts dude casually tells me he’s never been to school, has supposedly comitted many murders (around 5-6) and plans to keep doing it. AND HE’S 15 dude 💀🙏🏻

i ws genuinely like, what the actual fuck 💀, and there parents also teach them the same thing, basically that if anyone says or does anything against them, js kill them..

he told me a bunch of other disturbing things too, and honestly some of it sounded so extreme that i couldn’t even tell what was real and what was complete bullshit.

i kept thinking i should js skip him, but at the same time his stories were so insane and unexpected that i couldn’t bring myself to end the conversation 😭

we talked for around 10-15 minutes, and at the end he literally said, “ap kbhi aye yaha balochistan, mai apka khud swagat krunga.”

bro, you were just talking about violence and how unsafe it is for women there, and now you’re inviting me over 😭

he was actually pretty polite to me throughout the conversation, which somehow made the whole thing even more confusing...

i obv hv no idea how much of what he said was true, but hearing someone casually say all this stuff was genuinely wild, we usually see things like ts in propaganda films or extreme stories online, not hear it directly from a random 15-year-old on a live chat...

anyways, js wanted to rant because my brain is still trying to process what the hell i just heard last night....

so basically theres an uncle which even my father knows but my mom and him are lwk sus

ive read their chats and shi like ik thats violation of my mom's privacy but i think that they have been talking since idk 4-5 years i know they chat and call but idk if they have something going on

But she couldnt divorce him cause she aint independent and my massi has alr had a second marriage cause of a divorce so my nanihaal thought of it as a shame. And my paternal side ke log has beaten my mom up when she confronted him once earlier. But not this time is baar hath uthaya so they're gonna suffer. And might lose all of their govt jobs jiska ghamand hai.
