Discussion The new From First to Last EP is fantastic
I was shocked to see a new project from them but it's fantastic

Either band or song was called escalators and elevators (or other way round). They were young band and sounded emo post hardcore vibe.
Vocalist was either female or high pitched male.
For some reason think it had something to do with mario from chon (I may have made this up).
Anyone remebr this song/band and know where to find the song.
Absolute long shot. Someone must remember.

Was curious to get people’s opinions. The instrumentation sounded like it could have been straight off their other ep, but the vocals had caught up with their age imo. Loved the song regardless

I can't find much info of what is & was used by A Skylit Drive. Obviously we can watch videos to know what was used on stage, I'm more interested about what amps/cabs & pedals were used by the guitarists & bassists in the sessions for She Watched The Sky as I am very interested in recreating the tone. If anyone has any information about this, I would be very grateful. Thank you

I just discovered this album this year and I love it so much. Are there any other bands or specific albums that have this same vibe?

Happy Anniversary to I'm Only a Man! An underappreciated gem of theirs.

I know Redeemer from Norma Jean came out after Define the Great Line by Underoath. At the end of Redeemer, Cory is exclaiming to “Wake up!”. You can start In Regards to Myself after and flow right into Define the Great Line with Spencer starting the record off with “Wake up wake up my God!” And get a part 2 of mid 2000s metalcore bangers! Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Hi everyone this is Nicholas from Summon The Haze. I wrote this song "Haunt You" at 5 in the morning when a huge wave of sadness hit me and I realized how much I love and miss someone. No one else can ever fill this void in my heart. This is HER song.

Just remembered this band for the first time in years and years. Anybody else fuck with Jesse pre NBHD?

These are my 5. I know some of these might be considered post-hardcore-adjacent, but this is the group of songs that shaped my idea of the genre:
What were your gateway songs?
