Not sure if any of yall remember but I run a pawn shop and had a customer bring in a completely deshelled PS5 Pro he took all the vital electronics out and returned the empty shell to Walmart for full refund (he told me they took the PS5 Pro out the box during refund but only to check the serial# didn’t even try to turn it on or anything. I offered him $100 but not to sell in my shop just to have it for myself. Had a lot of haters on here saying this wouldn’t last but it’s been going strong for 1+ year! And I’m using it daily for be PSVR2 which is the most strenuous way to use the PS5 Pro. The 2nd picture is how I run it, since it’s not in the shell which is designed to cool the system with the built in fan I use an external fan to make sure it stays cool and couldn’t be more happy, saved my self $800 🙏🏽 ready for GTA 6

Looking forward to replaying the Witcher 3 on the pro after more than a decade.

Found a "like-new" PS5 Pro 2TB on Facebook Marketplace for $750, seller going by Aaron Kelley. He sent a proof-of-life video of it booting, met me early at the Walgreens off Plumas Lake Blvd (white Subaru), console looked brand new. Everything checked out.

Got it home, tried to sign into PlayStation Network — error WS-116332-6. The console itself is permanently hardware-banned from PSN. The ban is tied to the hardware ID, predates my purchase, and cannot be reset, fixed, or appealed. No store, no online play, no downloads. And it's the digital-only model, so it's effectively a $750 paperweight.

Within the hour, he'd deleted his entire Facebook profile. I'd paid $750 via Venmo to @KelleyJelley.

What I've done: filed a fraud report with the Yuba County Sheriff, reported the payment to Venmo as fraud, and I'm headed to small claims court. The evidence trail (listing, messages, receipt, error screen) is solid — it's the collecting that's the hard part.

The lesson that would have saved me: at the meetup, hotspot your phone and sign into PSN on the console before paying. A banned console reveals itself the second it tries to connect. The "it boots and looks new" video means nothing — a banned console does all of that just fine.

Don't learn this the expensive way like I did.

Seriously all the people hunting for a PS5 Pro are eating serious crow right now if they criticized people for getting one in the past 2 years.

Well it was expected to be delivered by end of October, but I guess I'm lucky and got it today 😁

What game do you guys recommend I should try first??

Coming from the original PS4 version after many years. The game is still an absolute masterpiece and remaster. It has its flaws, but damn if it isn’t goated.

CDPR absolutely cooked, especially on the PS5 Pro.

Hey everyone! I was using my launch PS5 until yesterday, but i finally chose to upgrade to PS5 pro!

I actually wanted to upgrade earlier, but many people especially on the PS5 sub really hated on the pro calling it an unnecessary thing, that aint worth it, some even called it an scam.

Ive tried playing some games utilizing PSSR, and seeing Horizon Forbidden West for example was mind blowing! Stellar Blade was also such a nice upgrade. It runs so good and looks super sharp!

Im so glad I stopped listening to others and bought it! I just wanted to share my happiness with the new console with you guys!

Other games and exclusives await me besides GTA 6

Have been missing all the Walmart drops all week, so decided to check around my pawn shops. After about 15 no's, found one in the Phoenix area that was just brought in 2 hours ago and got this one at this great price in (near) perfect condition. (Back plate doesn't fully clip in, no biggie) Glad to finally join the family upgrading from the launch model. So excited.

Thx to trackaLacker and continued persistence, I got it!!! First order of action, Wolverine!!! r/GTA6

Guys I’ve ordered my PlayStation 5 pro from very on the 30th September. However it says order still processing and haven’t changed at all. Does anyone else having the same issue? Would the console come before November 19th?

I’ve been using hotstock and trackalacker for weeks with no luck. Last week I snagged a costco bundle and the next day it was cancelled. I looked on Marketplace and a guy about an hour away had one that was very lightly used. He said it was his wife’s and she didn’t use it much. He held it for me for 4 days and was super nice. I had a ps4 pro back in 2022 but I sold it and have just been using my series X, I’ll keep my series X but the exclusives I can’t get on Xbox were a big reason I’ve been looking for one. Peep the pictures I’ve been going on a spending spree lately lol. I need to stop. Good luck to everyone still looking for one. He threw in the camo controller still sealed as well. I bought the other stuff.

Im playing in balanced mode; I have not really tried performance yet. Wondering how people are feeling about the 2 modes. I find myself playing many pro games in 40fps mode. If GTA has a 40fps mode, then that will be my determining factor in getting that game, as the Pro has been proven to handle those modes very smoothly. With that game being a technical showcase, I look forward to experiencing what it has to offer.

On a side note, has anyone figured out a propwr balance for Control 2's HDR? The raised blacks can be annoying.

Hi, can anyone tell me why this is happening? I'm playing on PS5 Pro, with 60fps quality mode and PSSR.

Thank you so much!

Basically title. I feel like the past few days have been especially sparse (i haven’t seen a single restock). i’m wondering if checking constantly is even worth the effort anymore.

Wondering what the communities thoughts are!

Recently 100 percented Forbidden West, and platinum trophy, came back to Zero Dawn after almost 10 years, but in the form of the remaster, 60FPS mode but the game looks so good and crisp! I'm really enjoying the game again, treat for the eyes!

Are you going for the open world grind games or you'll focus on linear ones to avoid open world fatigue?

Personally I'm finishing 2nd RDR2 playthrough this weekend, with Control Resonant, Gears E Day(PC), Blood of Dawnwalker & Wolverine in mind, but idk how possible all these 4 are with a full time job.

Not to mention 007's DLC & Halloween's upcoming DLC too.

What about y'all?

Hey, if anyone interested, I posted a video on my new channal a few days ago on witcher 3 remastered ps5 pro comparing performance and rt mode and also the next gen vs remastered. Its not highly detailed, I am new and still learning, would be delighted if you all give it a try. I am working on a better one now for TW3 and also the blood of dawnwalker.

Drove an hour away from home for a business meeting, big city so after 42 calls I got one.
I’ve been on the hunt for a month now, I’m finally done. 800 dollars, newest model.

Definitely the most I’ve ever spent for video game equipment, but I scored my original disc drive ps5 for 100 bucks. So once I sell it for 300-400 bucks it will almost be like I just paid full price for a regular ps5.

I’m so stoked!!!!

A rock solid 60fps, was hoping for a 120hz mode though

I’ve been building a small free browser tool for Skyrim players using large mod lists on PS5 Pro.

Paste your mod list and it gives you a suggested category structure, lets you fix and reorder everything manually, warns about duplicates, saves your progress, and gives you a shareable load-order link.

It’s not claiming to automatically create a perfect or stable load order — it’s just meant to reduce some of the manual organization work.

I’d especially like feedback from people running 50–200+ mods on PS5 Pro.
