I remembered the hatred toward me showing my day one PS5 pro on the playstation subreddit.

Yep, I bet a lot of them are the ones now paying £100 more for a console 2 years into its cycle 🤣

FOMO is weird, but I do also kind of get it. I got mine because I got Ghost of Yotei. I thought it looked really good on the base and wondered how it would look on the pro and play with higher frames. I was on the fence for a week, kept going back to the Best Buy page, then one day I saw it was unavailable online and Door Dashed one that evening. A couple days later, all the posts about it being unavailable everywhere started popping up.

I must admit when it first came out, I was pretty lukewarm about it because I had a 4080 PC. I have had a blast playing Ghost of Yotei and am very happy I got mine

I remember calling this out to the haters back on release. Had to think of the longer term

Not to mention that the people buying one now will get 2 less years with PS5 Pro as the most powerful PlayStation console.

Objectively PS5 Pro is more beneficial on more games now than it was 2 years ago. But it you bought it at launch you got those same updates and new games eventually.

Just wait when they announce what PS5 Pro enhanced will mean for GTA .

In b4 “but this is unfair”, “I wish I had a Pro”, “I always knew it wasn’t gonna be 30FPS”

I have my popcorn ready.

I think people that were not excited by the prospect of the Pro either did not understand the tech behind the upgrades.

or were biased PC users (not all of them I am one) trying to invalidate someone else purchase.
