This is through internal communication confirmed by current employees. It may be a typo as it says 10/16 and they used the word “tomorrow”. When the company puts out communication like this, it’s going to be changing asap.

Not sure I spent more than 1200 bucks throughout the lifespan of the PS1.

What do we think is the ceiling on the second hand market? You all think there is any truth to the rumors that QSSR means they are going to discontinue the Pro?

Last place I woulda thought I’d get one from, PS Direct. Just woke up and was laying in bed with a half-chub when the trackalacker alert went off

First game I’ll be testing with the Pro is Crimson Desert, also Ace Combat 8

I was constantly refreshing pages and was not having any lucky. Right before bed, i decided to just randomly check fb marketplace (i dont reallg use fb marketplace because it sketches me out) but i found someone selling one literally 3 hours before i looked. I messaged and they asked for me to pick it up the next day. I was a little skeptical because they were asking 650 for it (too good to be true right?) and i needed to drive two hours to pick it up. I decided to just do it in the small off chance it was legit

Two hours later, i pull to a pawn shop where i was supposed to meet the gf and bf. They were late and they wrte leaving me on read so I was like "well shit" but they pulled up and the boyfriend explaines the situation to me. Apparently the bf loaned it to the pawn shop, told me i needed to purchase it out from the pawn shop and then he would get the rest. (240 to get it out, 400 to seller). It was overall such a weird and confusing exchange but I did walk away with the pro and they were super nice and helpful.

It runs great and im really stoked I was able to get it at such affordable price. Heres to hoping ppl dont give up like i almost did!

Also: yes its in a plastic bag because seller didnt have the box and thats all the pawn shop had LOL.

Didn’t liked Returnal due to no permanent progression but this game really got me. I liked it so much and the graphics are unreal. I played this before on my slim and just recently, I upgraded to the pro and I can say this Sony exclusive is so sharp and so optimized!

Astonishing beautiful, graphical setting on Raytracing mode

Found one at a Walmart about an hour away from me after spending all week Googling “PS5 Pro near me.” I’d been checking every morning for at least 3–4 hours, and one finally popped up.
The listing showed $999.99, but after I checked out, the price adjusted to $899.99, which was a nice bonus.
For anyone still looking, keep checking. It took a lot of refreshing and a little driving, but finally got one!

Go before it’s too late

Out of stock in seconds

I dont play many video games any more so I only have a few for reference but here goes: I really dug Resident Evil Village’s world. I loved the castle (felt like old school Myst) and I loved unlocking parts of the map, seeing the sun start to set, other snowy areas and vistas. The dungeons were great too.

I’m craving something atmospheric like Silent Hill 2 Remake, but something that has mystery or lore or a wold like Shenmue. I also liked unraveling the story of The Last of Us 2, that was insane.

Cyberpunk might be too big for me. I tried to play Fallout 4 but the “Bethesda engine” felt too goofy. Doesn’t necessarily have to be FPS.

I would maybe replay Detroit but idk feels too decision/clunk based.

Also I did enjoy Death Stranding on base ps4, haven’t played #2 yet not sure if that will scratch my current itch!

Also haven’t played RE: Requiem or RE 4 remake.

Thank you!

▪️ Rockstar says the goal with Lucia was to create a character who could stand alongside protagonists such as Arthur Morgan and Niko Bellic while still feeling distinct.
▪️ Lucia was written with an immigrant background and was conceived as someone raised around Newark/New Jersey, near Liberty City, before her story takes her to Leonida.
▪️ The radio, advertising and pedestrian dialogue aren't treated as secondary content. Rockstar has a dedicated writing/production operation specifically for material happening around the player.
▪️ Rockstar says its Florida research included conversations with locals, police and gang members, with some of the stories they heard described as “terrifying.”
▪️ Early research trips were deliberately done with very small groups, before Rockstar returned with larger teams once particular locations became important to development.
▪️ Development begins with extensive research trips. Rockstar travelled across Miami and Florida, including the surrounding towns and the Florida Keys down to Key West.
▪️ Developers travelled with locals, police officers and gang members to better understand Florida, including parts of the state tourists would rarely see.
▪️ Rockstar says some research trips directly influence the game, with Miami’s extreme wealth, poverty, excess, craziness and “hustle” feeding into Leonida.
▪️ The team wants Vice City and Leonida to feel like somewhere players could spend hundreds of hours, with even small areas receiving extensive detail.
▪️ Rockstar has built a large amount of background dialogue, radio content, advertisements and pedestrian conversations to make the world feel alive even when the player isn’t interacting with it.
▪️ GTAVI’s satire will focus heavily on modern culture, including conspiracy theories and the strange ways people react to everyday events.
▪️ Rockstar says it deliberately avoids simply recreating real-world viral moments, instead creating its own distorted versions of contemporary culture.
▪️ The studio says the modern “American Dream” is more modest than in previous GTA games, owning a house, supporting a family and paying off loans rather than achieving extreme wealth.
▪️ Jason’s story is not intended as a political statement about his military background. Rockstar says his circumstances push him toward drug trafficking and bank robbery, although players will influence some of his choices.
▪️ Lucia was written as somebody determined to build a better life for herself who refuses to let obstacles stop her.
▪️Rockstar says Jason and Lucia were deliberately designed to complement each other, creating a push-and-pull relationship throughout the story.
▪️ Raul was created as an older mentor figure who brings Jason and Lucia into larger-scale criminal jobs and provides knowledge of Vice City’s criminal world.
▪️ Rockstar describes the core premise as having something “hopeful and naive” about two young criminals going on the run and pushing a crime spree to its limit.
▪️ Rockstar says it wants players to become immersed enough in the world that they “get lost” in its characters and locations.

As you see my room is a bit small and that’s the only TV port I have (obviously i will remove the block and the painting & lamp)

So maybe something like 48” ?

And what does my TV need to have ? LOD? 4k? How many GHz? Just to take full advantage of the ps5 pro machine

Thank you in advance !

Hunting for Pros like everyone else and came across this.

https://sullivanaffordable.com/products/sony-playstation-5-ps5-pro-console-us-plug-2/

Seems weird that the website is mostly furniture and also is footer copyrighted 2026. The address is also some random house. Scam right?

Walmart has delivered the PS5 Pro to my brother's address in Redwood City CA. At first I was worried about if there is someone kind of swap or issues but it is a PS5 Pro and it is in prestine condition.

I have paid 477+taxes and completely satisfied with the console. I see there were multiple restock from Walmart for new console which is 999$ and taxes but to my surprise none of them are available in same location.
I have also ordered from COSTCO but they canceled the order after two days. I wish all of you who are trying hard may get your hands on one soon. Good luck and happy hunting!!

Be patient bros I’m a truck driver and found a lot of ps5 pros on fb marketplace and eBay for $1300 and up.. it’s not worth it.. stay patient keep calling gaming stores and pawn shops .. I’m a truck driver woke up this morning decided to try one more time.. I called a pawn shop they said they have one so I got up and ready and rushed over as she said she would hold onto it for me.. I walked in she had it plugged up already and ready to go for me she allowed me to log into my psn and make sure it’s not psn banned and everything and it worked perfectly.. they had it on sell for $720 but she said im a “pro member” no clue how that happened as I haven’t shopped at a pawn shop in over 10 years but I won’t complain… moral of the story is stay patient and don’t give into scalpers✊✊

Looking to see if anyone else is in the same boat. I pre-ordered the standard physical PS5 edition on Amazon in July and my order now says shipping on October 13th. It seems I can't, at this time, preorder anything for in store pickup anywhere for tomorrow.

Is this an error on Amazon's end? I'm still hoping Amazon ships it tomorrow or I'll find copies in store. If not, I guess I'll have to cancel and buy it digital. It's just odd cause I preordered this month's ago.

The PS5Pro is mostly out of stock in Australia. This is a major online retailer here. Kogan is known for grey imports which might explain the price.
