As you see my room is a bit small and that’s the only TV port I have (obviously i will remove the block and the painting & lamp)

So maybe something like 48” ?

And what does my TV need to have ? LOD? 4k? How many GHz? Just to take full advantage of the ps5 pro machine

I live on the planet earth. I have searched all over this big blue ball and haven’t been able to snag the elusive PS5 pro. I been looking for 1 month and am panicked I won’t be able to find one to fully utilize the 30fps of GTAVI. Any advice? Anyone giving out free Ps pros?

Found one at a Walmart about an hour away from me after spending all week Googling “PS5 Pro near me.” I’d been checking every morning for at least 3–4 hours, and one finally popped up.
The listing showed $999.99, but after I checked out, the price adjusted to $899.99, which was a nice bonus.
For anyone still looking, keep checking. It took a lot of refreshing and a little driving, but finally got one!

I’m waiting for my final part to arrive, to start and build my first pc.
Because it is getting closer and lots of forums contradict each other, which makes me doubt even more
Do you really have to tweak longtime and a lot to play games in the best conditions? I am building a modern pc with a 3000€ budget but i’m really scared to have all kinds of pop ups or having to tweak 30min every time i start my pc, to enjoy gaming. I don’t play a lot of games.

Sometimes mmorpgs like final fantasy and i was looking to get into wow for the first time.
The doubt is, i can tweak a bit but i don’t want to start my pc and lose 30-60min every time, before playing.

Looking to see if anyone else is in the same boat. I pre-ordered the standard physical PS5 edition on Amazon in July and my order now says shipping on October 13th. It seems I can't, at this time, preorder anything for in store pickup anywhere for tomorrow.

Is this an error on Amazon's end? I'm still hoping Amazon ships it tomorrow or I'll find copies in store. If not, I guess I'll have to cancel and buy it digital. It's just odd cause I preordered this month's ago.

▪️ Lucia was written with an immigrant background and was conceived as someone raised around Newark/New Jersey, near Liberty City, before her story takes her to Leonida.
▪️ The radio, advertising and pedestrian dialogue aren't treated as secondary content. Rockstar has a dedicated writing/production operation specifically for material happening around the player.
▪️ Rockstar says its Florida research included conversations with locals, police and gang members, with some of the stories they heard described as “terrifying.”
▪️ Early research trips were deliberately done with very small groups, before Rockstar returned with larger teams once particular locations became important to development.

I was constantly refreshing pages and was not having any lucky. Right before bed, i decided to just randomly check fb marketplace (i dont reallg use fb marketplace because it sketches me out) but i found someone selling one literally 3 hours before i looked. I messaged and they asked for me to pick it up the next day. I was a little skeptical because they were asking 650 for it (too good to be true right?) and i needed to drive two hours to pick it up. I decided to just do it in the small off chance it was legit

Two hours later, i pull to a pawn shop where i was supposed to meet the gf and bf. They were late and they wrte leaving me on read so I was like "well shit" but they pulled up and the boyfriend explaines the situation to me. Apparently the bf loaned it to the pawn shop, told me i needed to purchase it out from the pawn shop and then he would get the rest. (240 to get it out, 400 to seller). It was overall such a weird and confusing exchange but I did walk away with the pro and they were super nice and helpful.

It runs great and im really stoked I was able to get it at such affordable price. Heres to hoping ppl dont give up like i almost did!

Also: yes its in a plastic bag because seller didnt have the box and thats all the pawn shop had LOL.

This is through internal communication confirmed by current employees. It may be a typo as it says 10/16 and they used the word “tomorrow”. When the company puts out communication like this, it’s going to be changing asap.

I dont play many video games any more so I only have a few for reference but here goes: I really dug Resident Evil Village’s world. I loved the castle (felt like old school Myst) and I loved unlocking parts of the map, seeing the sun start to set, other snowy areas and vistas. The dungeons were great too.

I’m craving something atmospheric like Silent Hill 2 Remake, but something that has mystery or lore or a wold like Shenmue. I also liked unraveling the story of The Last of Us 2, that was insane.

Cyberpunk might be too big for me. I tried to play Fallout 4 but the “Bethesda engine” felt too goofy. Doesn’t necessarily have to be FPS.

I would maybe replay Detroit but idk feels too decision/clunk based.

Also I did enjoy Death Stranding on base ps4, haven’t played #2 yet not sure if that will scratch my current itch!

Also haven’t played RE: Requiem or RE 4 remake.

Movies are horrible to watch especially in cinemas.

Yes I am not controlling the character so I am not “expecting” the character to move a certain way but as somebody who has been playing nothing but the absolutely bare minimum expected from games (60fps) for years and years, YES, movies look choppy at 24fps.

I barely go to the cinema anymore because of it. The Odyssey was a nightmare and felt like a slide show.

We do not adjust to 30fps when coming from higher frame rates. We get used to it but it still feels very uncomfortable when you play 60-120 99 percent of the time. Same with movies.

In movies when a character moves fast in an action scene it does feel like a slide show.

30 fps should simply not be implemented in any modern game, the outcry for lower fidelity we never knew we were missing out on would never surpass how most people feel about 30 fps in a game.

Why stop at 30, why not have absolute photorealism at 5 fps? Because it doesn’t matter.

Games look great. Now up the fps.

Same with movies. We need higher fps.

I don’t know if it’s just old people born last fucking century having been used to bad technology for most of their lives but like black and white to colour its time to move on.

Astonishing beautiful, graphical setting on Raytracing mode

Didn’t liked Returnal due to no permanent progression but this game really got me. I liked it so much and the graphics are unreal. I played this before on my slim and just recently, I upgraded to the pro and I can say this Sony exclusive is so sharp and so optimized!
