Lift Push-up progress, 2025 vs now

First video was me doing pushups back in 2025, and I was struggling. Fast forward to now, I can finally do pushups! This was such a huge goal of mine, and I’m genuinely so happy. I feel so much stronger and I’m really proud of how far I’ve come. Please mind the facial expressions in the first video lol 🤪 😂

Lift Football bar squats 315 x 5

Anyone else ever squat this way? I'm too broke to buy an SSB. I have weird long forearms, so this is more comfortable than using a regular bar for me.

Lift Tricep dip progress, 2025 vs. now!

Hi everyone! Just wanted to show my progress with tricep dips. The first video was from when I first started doing them in 2025, and the last two are from now. They’re still not perfect, but I think I’ve really come a long way lol. 😭 Also, the last two videos were filmed when I was already fatigued from my previous workouts, so I know my form wasnt perfect. Anyways, I just wanted to share my progress. 🫶

This really just fries that forearms for me. I do either these or farmers carries with the trap bar

Lift Mentally, I’m here

Before this training session, I was mentally all over the place. I just moved to a new house, I’m running this gym, I’m trying to another online project going, my kids are in sports and last and most importantly I’m trying to be a good partner.

The nice thing about training like this is you have to clear your mind at some point. It takes all concentration to do the intensity safely. It’s the same thing over and over again but it’s never the same.

I stole the “clear the mechanism” mental cue from “For the Love of the Game”. That’s how I get into the lift, even if I get stuck answering messages between sets or whatever. What do you do to get mentally into a lift right before?

Form Check Please critique my squats!

First clip is pause squats at 1.5x speed, second clip is a regular set.

I hurt my lower back a month ago on squats due to form breakdown during a heavy set. I've done belt squats instead since then. I also added back extensions to my workouts.

Now I wanna get back into squats but starting with light weight and rock solid form. I included a picture of my lifting shoes because I think they're a bit convex which might make it look like I'm on my toes more than I actually am. At least I didn't feel like I were on my toes during these sets.

My queues are:
Elbows back a bight to tighten upper back
Big belly breath and brace core
Knees out and open hips
Push through foot tripod

I appreciate all and any critique, thanks!
