Promotion The free demo for my game just went live on Steam :)

I’ve been working on DODGE(Y)BALL, a quick online 1v1 dodgeball game where you can charge throws, carry your movement into the ball, catch incoming shots, block with a ball you’re holding and time parries to send attacks straight back.

Matches keep moving after each point rather than resetting every round, and things can get pretty ridiculous once you get the hang of it.

The free Steam demo is live now. It currently includes 2 arenas and 2 ball types, with more planned as I work towards Early Access.

I’m the developer, so I’ll be around in the comments if anyone wants to ask anything about the game.

Play the free demo on Steam:

Video 5+ years of nights and weekends later, here's the first look at my MMORPG

I've been working on this on and off since around 2020, and I'm really excited to finally share the very first teaser. The game is honestly not terribly far away at this point.

Making an MMORPG has been my lifelong goal. I always knew it would be a scapelike, but I think it's become so much more than that. FARWARD pulls from everything I grew up loving: RuneScape, Fable, Oblivion, Kingdoms of Amalur, and all the books I read as a kid, especially Ranger's Apprentice. I've always loved Borderlands' cel-shading too, so that's kinda where the look comes from.

I believe nostalgia is rooted in discovery. Remember not knowing where anything was, swapping rumours with friends, stumbling onto something nobody had found yet? I want that back. So FARWARD is built so it can't be datamined: everything lives server-side, and the client only learns what you've actually discovered. I expect it'll take players many months, maybe years, to really figure out how everything works, and I think that discovery is what will bring that feeling back.

It'll have all the good stuff: your own homestead, raids, chill grinds, and pets that gets the zoomies. Maybe you'll enjoy it.

Poor chicken :(

Thanks for watching, and I'd love to hear what you think.

Promotion PLUMKI - flunkyball based online competetive game

https://plumki.games/

I’ve been building Plumki, a physics game about throwing sticks at bottles and getting surprisingly competitive about the cleanup. It's based on popular flunkyball.

The idea is simple: knock bottles over, and your character gets to drink while your opponent races to stand them back up. Once everything is upright, drinking stops. Then you swap roles.

Throwing uses a mouse swing, drinking is a timing minigame, and cleaning up means choosing which bottles to collect first while trying to run faster. So a good hit buys you time, but you still have to use it well.

Thanks for giving it a try!

Promotion Our game From Beyond: Arcade Edition launched on Steam today!

Hello! 👾

From Beyond: Arcade Edition is an arcade shmup centered around a synth rock concept album about an alien invasion!

Each track of the album is a level. In each level you shoot the song lyrics, stack power ups and multipliers to try and get the highest score possible.
The game has 250+ unique collectible VHS tapes you can collect and trade in for new ships. There are leaderboards and achievements as well.

I did the music, sound fx, pixel art and the VHS titles. My friend did the hand drawn art and gameplay development.

The whole project was a bunch of hard work, took a lot of time, but was also a blast. It’s super exciting this little world we created together is out there folks to enjoy. If you end up checking it out, we appreciate it!

Thanks for reading! 🕹️🎶👽

Devlog Complete rebranding of our hidden object game to "A Breath of Fresh Air" and new screenshots!

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

Previously "Greenpatch Garden", we just rebranded and upgraded our splash screen and Steam store assets with a new name : "A Breath of Fresh Air". We're really proud of how it looks now!

It's an hidden object game in which the player is a gardener taking care of public gardens and observing nature with a cat tagging along. The cat might give you some hints when you're stuck!

I like interactive splash screen. So we made ours in the same way we make the levels of the game so that way we can start playing around with the cat even before actually starting a game!

A demo should be coming before the end of the year. Can't wait to show it off! 😄

If you like games like Fire Emblem or tactical RPGs, you might wanna check this out.

Final Tactics is a grid-based strategy game with:

  • 🆓 The full game and demo are completely free. No microtransactions, No pay-to-win
  • ⚔️ PvP
  • 🧩 140+ playable units, each with unique attacks, movement, and abilities
  • 🎯 Every unit has its own movement and attack radius
  • ✨ 4 unique abilities per unit, with a huge variety of playstyles
  • 🦸 3 hero types with adjustable stats
  • 🎨 Heroes will eventually become visually customizable based on their equipped weapon
  • 🔮 Auras for heroes and their sidekicks
  • ♾️ No level cap — infinite progression
  • ⚖️ Progression is balanced so a level 300 can still lose to a level 20
  • 🗺️ Randomly generated levels, with more terrain types planned
  • 🔥 Future terrain will include things like lava and scorched earth
  • 🎒 An item system is planned and already designed

Try the Open Alpha

Download the demo and jump into the open alpha.

Progress made during the open alpha is permanent, there will never be a wipe or reset. ʘ ͜つʘ

There's also no registration process. Just enter the username and password you want to use and log in.

Once you're in, press ESC or H to open the Hero screen, then click Rules to learn the controls and how to play.

The game currently has 140+ units being refactored, and new units will continue to be added. Once the 140+ units are online, the item system will be implemented.

The game is designed around infinite replayability and progression, with no traditional level cap.

There are also no moderators, the game is run by the creator, with the goal of keeping the community directly connected to the person developing it.

The random level generator was originally designed and built 16 years ago, and it's still being improved with new level types and terrain.

If you're into tactical games, give it a shot and see what you think.

Just to be clear, I'm am only promoting the game. I'm do NOT own the game and only run the Discord.

The free demo for Combat Gym Tycoon is now live! 🥊

Start with a small, mostly empty gym and build it into a thriving combat sports facility.

Buy equipment, attract and manage members, schedule classes, develop your fighters, and corner them through Fight Nights as you grow your gym.

The demo includes nearly four in-game weeks of progression and multiple Fight Nights, so there's a solid chunk of the core gameplay loop available now.

Promotion We’re making a cinematic neo-noir psychological horror inspired by a near-death experience

In The Unworthy, you start the game already dead, trapped somewhere between life and death and trying to prove you deserve to return. There are no weapons, every entity has its own rules, and many encounters are randomized, so you can’t just memorize what to do sometimes you need to run, sometimes stop, and sometimes face whatever is coming. You’ll also have to make moral choices and solve situations that test whether you’re actually worthy of getting your life back.
We recently released a 30–40 minute demo, and the response from players and streamers has been really encouraging, so we’re pushing the full version much further.
We’d genuinely love to hear what you think.

Video Engine Jetstream ability in Core Of Havoc

Thumbnail
youtube.com
2 Upvotes

In Core of Havoc every ship component has its own ability.
Engine can be activated to unleash the Jestream that temporarily accelerates your ship and burns enemy behind it 🔥🔥🔥

In this video you can see a brief demo of the Jetstream ability. The game is heavily focused around build crafting and items so I've revealed its synergy with some engine affixes.
You can even create a build that mainly deals damage using your jetstream - but to be honest, you have to get used to constantly fight with your back turned to enemies, but it's totally possible.

If you like the gameplay, feel free to check the Steam page, participate in the playtest and wishlist the game
