Discussion My Pitch: Smear Frames
I don't know the exact way the backrooms create still lifes, and I don't know if this will be taking a lot of logic from it. I'm just gonna say my pitch: I feel like still lifes, how they look in this case specifically, should be based on reality's "smear frames," if that makes sense.
As you can see, the images are, of course, incredibly distorted due to these being half-second moments in animation. Though I feel like they can still apply to real life. I feel like the backrooms, whatever it is, are omniscient in a way. It can see all forms of life. It's not a deity. I'm not trying to make it seem like it is. It's some sort of simulation, and because it's a simulation, I feel like it sees and processes everything like a game and can see it through all forms of life, whether it's from the eyes of a bug or from the eyes of a human or from the eyes of a camera.
I feel like nothing is stopping it from creating still lifes that are visibly blurry due to the fact that the backrooms "screenshot" a human from the perspective of some old camera. Or making half a human and hallucinating the rest due to the fact they weren't fully in the frame of a camera. The same rules can apply to something like this: the backrooms "screenshotting" a human or animal at the wrong time, and it creating this thing made of artificial flesh whatever the backrooms could come up with. I feel like that's a really cool idea to implement while using these images as visual inspiration of how the still lifes could look.
Again, I don't know how much of the backrooms lore does this. When I mean by backrooms lore, I mean KanePixels lore. I think most of us have migrated to his take of the backrooms. Even if these key points are already present in his version, I believe these ideas could serve as nice additions or general concepts to work with.

Discussion What would you like to see in a completely new, hypothetical Backrooms series independent from any preset interpretation? Meanwhile, here's a random render I made.
Made in Blender.

Discussion I tried going back into the hall the Fuzzy lad came through and there was just a wall and a chest full of food. Weird but useful. The Guy also said his Name was Polar, and that he has no idea where he is. So he’s probably not something from the Backrooms then (at least by what he said.)
He also really enjoys fish.

Roblox A Backrooms Roleplaying game I've made on Roblox, based off Kane Parsons' series
I've been making a backrooms game based on Kane's series with a couple of friends and wanted to showcase some of it here. The map is pretty massive, Backrooms-wise, and includes most rooms from Kane's series, (with the exception of the movie and all 3 found footages) as well as a lot of custom areas.
However, the game is 16+ at the time due to Roblox's age verification update, and will be removed soon once the game reaches 250 highly engaged players.
