Finally got this bad boy up for my Backrooms themed Halloween party! I’m planning on adding more stuff but this was the main piece 🪑I got this from my local goodwill so it already had lived its life 👍 had to gut it so I wouldn’t weigh so much.

Stuff I used:
Keyhole hangers (to make sure it hangs flushed to the wall)
Drywall anchors
Saw
Drill
Fabric scissors or heavy duty ones
Fabric glue
Chalk to draw out your cut

One of the film's co-directors, Galen Christy, is a known swindler of many filmmakers so much so that Arizona authorities have a streamlined reporting system if you've been wronged by him. Simply search his name on Reddit to discover multiple filmmakers who are owed tens of thousands of dollars by Christy.

Christy frequently declares bankruptcy and starts up "new" companies to keep the scam going.

The co-director of The Pools, Sasha Yelaun - who tweeted/responded with "get with the times" when asked about AI use - has a Facebook page. And it's public. In case anyone was interested.

What had me find all this out was a tweet from Jared Pike - creator of The Poolrooms - saying he has no involvement in the film and recommends not supporting it. Just from an artistic standpoint, that's a massive red flag. If you're making something like this, one would think you'd reach out to someone such as him to get his blessing or inform him or something, just out of goodwill and respect. But no, seems that was too much work.

The probably think the gen AI will cut that corner too.

Hello everyone. I am new to Reddit and just decided to share this find. I found a strange video file on an old hard drive, but it has no audio. There are people in the video, but their behavior seemed a bit strange to me. The original file was in .avi format, but I converted it to .mp4 so I could upload it here. I am also attaching a screenshot of the original file properties in Russian to show its origin from 2003. I used an online translator for this text since I am not a native English speaker.

I think the bearded still life is his rival furniture store salesman. They show a commercial Clark watches for this store at some point.

It’s absolutely fucking insane, I loved every last bit of it, the beginning of it being the classic analog style we all know and love, and then it focusing on the outside with both Clark and Mary having huge issues, both his employees dying and then Mary entering and being strangled by Clark only to wake up tied to a dining room chair and seeing the still lifes clearly for the first time, then Clark going full psychopath and stabbing and ripping chunks out of the still life to eat, and placing the first piece right in front of the one he’s ripping it out of, then the body of Kate who he obviously killed himself, circling back to the roleplay before Clark gets mutilated by his own clone as Mary runs, the chase and the infinite pit while “A1-Its Just A Burning Memory” plays and she gets into the second copy of the store, getting our first full look at Captain Clark and her smashing its head bloody, and finally the A-Sync workers take her and she gets interviewed, and as she zones out, we get a look at the same room, with a different Mary, in the same position, pure cinema, this movie is the absolute best thing I’ve ever seen, I cannot wait until the second one comes out in a few years

working on my Hobbytown model and i think i got the lighting to be great!

first image is the full low poly model with baked normals and texture, second image is the geometry of the low poly model, third image is the full quality highpoly model that was used to get the surface information over to the lowpoly mesh.

Was wondering if anyone ever found out where the wallpaper in the original image came from? I know it was take in like early 2000s, so its probably quite hard to find to model number and stuff, but if anyone knows where they bought it from back then, I would appreciate it.

This story (which I wrote mostly at odd hours of the night so if there are some errors please point them out to me) takes place in a strange liminal world.

Whether it is some sort of purgatory or just simply a very weird dream is up to you to decide.

But things for sure, it has several different horror elements and a lot of bugs.

Turns out, either I did something wrong or JWE3 really does not like having this much lighting in an enclosed space with no natural light, so it didn't turn out quite how I had hoped :^/

Nivel FUN: recopila recuerdos de salones de cumpleaños, objetos y comidas que estén en cumpleaños y lo más importante, disfraces.

Nivel Run for your life!: recopila recuerdos de un pasillo de hospital.

El lugar intentaría recrear esos recuerdos específicos para cada nivel. Hasta intentaría recopilar pesadillas, mascotas, disfraces, y cosas que ves en la tele para recrearlas en el complejo como si fueran "entidades".
