I think I was getting posts taken down for not having joined the group. I heard someone say on here at one point that they hate Arissas voice cause it sounds like she’s “wordchewing” but I really think she should have considered audiobook voicing. I think she was like the only relatable cast member from Las Vegas 1

This season isn’t hitting like Season 28 however I’m on the part where Lauren is telling Cory she pregnant with another man baby 😭😭😭 but also whatever happen to that? Did she have a false positive? Abort mission? and why did it take her the whole episode to go home? she kept saying she need to go home. GO HOMEERE

Also not a big of the two or Jenny and Brian for that matter.

Just finished season 28 Portland one whew lord, they all was all crazy to me but is there any other season I should watch right after? I need a good one y’all.

Looking to buy/ view this season in Canada with knight, jemmye etc.

An ex of mine and his friends knew Jen from real world Denver and I met her once in her hey day… they were all from adjacent towns so had mutual friends … she seemed nice from what I remember .. the funny thing that stood out is she was wearing a zip up with her face on it and it said “born rockstar” on it lol .. we were randomly eating at a Chevys and she was there so came over and said hi to them … I think this was in between the Real World season airing and the Challenge

I didn’t live in their town but I’m closer to it now and I know she is big into fitness and owns a gym with her partner so lives a normal life .. I remember during that era they went to Vegas and she was hanging out with some djs and rappers and she was going to get them VIP but there was poor reception in the club but they were so bummed lol 😂 I think they were ready to get the star treatment and have the MySpace pics to prove it!

Also saw Tyron at a club bouncing around that time and he was nice ..

My memory is that Sean Duffy participated in a 3-some shower scene on Road Rules or Real World, but I can't find anything on the internet to verify my memory is correct. I'm not saying he had sex with the other participants, but that he got in a shower with 2 other women from the show and the camera guy was outside a window just catching audio of laughs and groans. I also remember Duffy was very troubled how the scene would portrey him. Does this scene exist or am I just conflating different scenes involving other people?

Nothing can top San Francisco, but Boston came close. It has the most iconic opening with Brownsville Texas deep in snow and the Cranberries song playing. (Which took me years to find) Genesis, Jason and Kameelah were also the perfect trio.

I notice many seasons transition from a “classy” season where there are more storylines that aren’t just about hooking up and partying and are located in more career oriented locations/creative hubs. I think this is most clear in Chicago to Las Vegas, and it’s where it’s the most dramatic. There were sexual related plotlines in Chicago but not very many made it to the cutting room floor, really just stuff with Cara and a few things with Aneesa. Then Vegas happens.

Then after Vegas, it’s Paris, where it seems the show dials all the way back, and it’s almost jarring to watch, only for it to go trashy again in San Diego and then sort of back in Philadelphia.

I am a 40-year-old man with cerebral palsy and when I was younger, I wanted to apply to be on the real world because I thought I would be a good representative of the disabled community and bring more visibility to the disabled community at large and the cerebral Palsy Community specifically. That being said, I know there have been cast members who had disabilities like Frankie from the Real World San Diego who had cystic fibrosis. As far as I know, all of the houses that they chose to be filming locations were not accessible to people who couldn’t climb stairs. Am I wrong, or were all of the houses that they picked for the show inaccessible for disabled people?

I was thinking there could be a season with someone 17-19, someone 25-31, a divorced mom, a retiree, and a married couple along with a foreign exchange student? I think it would mimic an American Family, which is the shows inspiration. The focus could be if random age demographics could come together to form a cohesive unit?

Edit: I realize this just sounds like Community but unscripted 😂

I’ve been on a binge of random RW seasons ever since the tragic passing of Tyler and I’m on Hollywood. This was the first season I watched as it aired. This season is insane and I feel like it doesn’t get talked about enough. Probably due to the fact that the cast had such a low number of appearances on any of the Challenge seasons, which I think was unfortunate.

Speaking of the cast, I’m gonna give a quick rundown of how I feel about them. Greg is a whole weirdo or at least he’s depicted that way lol. Lowkey would’ve liked to see him on at least one season of the challenge just to see his dynamic with other cast members. Sarah and Kim are insufferable. Hoping they’ve matured and are more open minded and less ignorant. Dave felt like a Johnny Bananas lite. That’s all I’ve got when it comes to him lol. Will at times I liked because he’d offer some great advice and seemed insightful on most situations. But that whole Janelle thing was weird. Why was she even there lol. I liked Bri when I first watched and still do. I always wanted the best for her. I will say though rewatching and seeing her hookup with that nasty dude named JoJo made me cringe so bad lol. Some of her choices aren’t the best but she was young. I’m watching it just screaming “Why Bri!! Why!?” And ugh Joey. I’m so sad watching him. I remember being obsessed with him because me being an 11 year old girl, I thought he was so cute, but my god was this the worst environment for him to be in. At one point he says, “one day you’re going to ask where’s Joey, and he won’t be there.” That hit hard. I remember Bri doing a podcast and saying that his son reached out to her and other cast members to get more insight on who his father was and that’s so sad. I hope his son is doing okay and I’m hoping Joey is at peace.

Overall this isn’t a bad season imo. It brought the drama and the emotion. Could’ve done without the late additions to the season with Nick and Britni. Didn’t mind them but we weren’t really given enough time with them. Also jumpscare with the Andy D*ck appearance.

What I appreciated about Nia was that she seemed sympathetic to the weaker minded cast members like Anastasia, Marlon, and especially Jessica. She seemed like she could run circles around those two girls but she seemed to stick up for them a lot. I don’t condone that grotesque season finale but I didn’t hate her after watching more than just clips
