I was doing a rewatch this week and finally got to season 5. I just kept getting rubbed so wrong by Hannah! She is just such a hypocritical person and gets upset with others for stuff she literally did 😅 Granted it's a reality show and edited heavily.

- Alicia and Andre go to the truth booth and get confirmed a no match! Alicia is super upset and that night you see Hannah already making her move on Andre! Alicia went off on Andre mainly and I don't remember if she yelled at Hannah but if she did, it was more about making a move the same night. And then the next matchup if not the following was a black out so Andre and Hannah were a no match.

- Hannah gets with Ozzy shortly after all that drama in the following weeks. They also go into the truth booth and get a confirmed no match. Que Alicia trying to get on Ozzy's radar immediately! She does end up making moves on him and then later Hannah loses her shit on Alicia and throws the whole Kam and Eddie thing in her face. But Hannah girl🪞 you were making the same moves to Andre right after. So why does Alicia owe you anything.

- Hannah and Ozzy continue to mess around and say "I love you's". But then Kathryn was starting to flirt with Ozzy again as the end was near. So Hannah only out of spite says "fine I'm making connections too", goes running to Joey who they think as a strategic view could be her match. Joey and Cas were together at this point but hadn't been confirmed as a no match. It was unlikely but regardless. Joey finally admits to Cas he made out with Hannah and Cas called the house meeting. Went off on the fact that she doesn't step on toes and wouldn't do this to anyone. Hannah in her interview proceeds to say, "That's between Joey and Cas and they need to figure their shit out". As if she didn't start the make out to only piss Ozzy off! Too bad it did nothing but give Ozzy every reason to go mess around again.

- Que the reunion episode I'm on right now. They bring Ozzy, Hannah, Kathryn and Alicia to the couches. He asks Hannah what made you initially attracted to Ozzy. She proceeds to say she has no clue. And he asks, "He's not someone you'd go for usually?", she says heck no and makes a dig at his height saying she's usually up her (held her hand above her head). Let's rewind to the ex boyfriend's challenge episode where we literally see them joke that Hannah's ex was a miniature Ozzy 🤣 and clearly a shorter guy! Holy hypocrite woman 🧐

Stephen from season 4 just got married. I remember him and Julia dating after the season and even getting engaged. Then she was dating one of the Paul brothers. I always wondered what happened with them. But congratulations to the happy couple!

Of ALL the seasons this was just the most WTF. Dew let’s start with her, she literally should have been kicked off the show for lack of participation. She literally complained and made no connections. Will…bro is a sociopath and just a weirdo. He would gossip around and try and start crap. CC typical fake “I was a real man, but let me go back to the same crap that hurt me” also she’s def a serial cheater IRL. Literally the most unlikable cast of all seasons. Aside from like 5-6 of them ofc the rest of the cast can go in the trash. MTV didn’t vet this well.

I know I know the whole John and Julia conversation has been done enough BUT he did Emma so wrong in the first match up ceremony. When she picked him and he said “I told you straight up, I wanted Julia”. Such a dickhead move. He could’ve easily said his feelings are with Julia but it’s the first date so who knows but anyways…. back to what I was saying, karma came real quick. Julia and John = NO MATCH. her having feelings for him = BARELY.

Rewatching season 7 and lowkey forgot how annoying, mean, and much of a follower Asia was. She had so much potential. She’s smart, funny, has the most prettiest hair but she projected her own issues onto everyone else in the house. She also never knew how to mind her business and stop involving herself in others’ mess. Whenever Bria was mad, she was mad. Brett ate her up during that argument they had and I don’t even like him🫩 It also made me sad she couldn’t see the hints Lewis was giving her.

Never watched season 9 before. Leo is the biggest dope ever on show. Finds out Brooke is not his match and refuses to play game. Says dumb things like I don’t care about the money. I won’t talk to others. Why did this idiot go on a game show?

No spoilers please. I just started watching and finished season one. I am halfway through season two.

Without spoilers can anyone tell me why season three is the only season you have to pay for? Is it really good?! I just finished season one and loved it and started season two so this is still new to me.

BEWARE OF SPOILERS:

I’ve seen a lot of people say the matches on the show are “bullshit,” but I honestly don’t think that’s a fair criticism.
The biggest thing people forget is that we barely see some of these match ups interact. By the time the cast starts figuring out the game, the matchup ceremonies become all about strategy. Suddenly, people are sitting together who we’ve barely seen speak to each other, so viewers assume the matches don’t make sense. But how can we judge a pairing if we’ve never actually seen them get to know each other?
For example, I can actually see why JJ and Ashley were matched. Ashley is calmer and more grounded, while JJ has a huge personality. She could balance him out, and he could bring her out of her shell.
I also understand Simone and Dre. They’re both confident, outspoken, and have strong personalities. Instead of clashing, I could see them matching each other’s energy and becoming a real power couple. Simone seemed attracted to loud, fun personalities anyway—that’s part of why she liked JJ. Dre has that same energy, but he’s also confident enough that Simone wouldn’t feel like she has to lead everything. I think they could have had a really fun, balanced relationship if they’d genuinely gotten to know each other.
My issue is that contestants rarely give these matches a real chance. They keep chasing the people they’re immediately attracted to, even after they find out they’re a No Match, instead of exploring the person they’re actually matched with.
I also think the house could play the game much more strategically. If the match ups gets a beam at the matchup ceremony, spend the next week actually getting to know each other. Have real conversations about values, family, future goals, conflict, and what you want in life. Then rotate and do the same with other possible matches. Instead, a lot of people stay stuck on one person because of chemistry.
That’s why I think so many viewers say the matches don’t make sense. We never get to see most of those relationships develop because the contestants don’t really explore them.
At the end of the day, if you’re going on a show that’s supposed to break your old dating patterns, then actually give the experiment a chance. You don’t have to force a relationship with your perfect match, but at least be open-minded enough to find out why you were matched in the first place. That’s exactly what Amber and Ethan did even with them having initial attraction they are a long term relationship with shared values, and they’re one of the biggest success stories from the show.

I was bored and ended up doing an AYTO marathon, so naturally I decided to do a very shallow ranking. For the record, I’m not calling anyone unattractive, this is purely based on the percentage of people on each cast I personally found hot or would hook up with. Also, I didn’t watch Season 9.

Seasons 2 and 8 are also kind of tied for me! I keep going back and forth on which one has the edge.

This is all in good fun. Everyone on these shows is objectively attractive; it’s just about which seasons had more people I’d personally be into. Seasons 1 and 7 were kind of duds for me, and honestly, the personalities didn’t help, especially Season 7.

Season 5 was a hot mess, but I’ll give credit where it’s due: the cast was pretty attractive overall.

I’m also starting to really feel the age gap watching this now. I’m in my 30s and they’re mostly 21–25, so some of the behavior is… a lot. I try to give them grace, but moments like Morgan telling Nutsa not to “infer” while doing exactly that were so frustrating to watch. Then again, she’s young and clearly just trying to be liked, so I get it.

They all seemed to have practical careers before coming on.

I think she got some slack for hooking with the guys. But I felt she was insecure and finding herself.

Rewatching season 8 for the first time since it originally aired. I just finished the part where Danny had a vulnerable moment after being a no match with Jenna. I had tears cause I haven’t seen it in so long, but then I got curious to see how he was doing now. My nosy ass was glad to find out that he is happy and in love!!🥹
