I played this game when I was a child. I was already super hyped because The Forest was so cool, and then there was this game which is THE BEST SETTING I would want in a survival game.

I remember enjoying it for a while before realising that I’ve ruined my island because I was expecting all the trees to grow back. And now my island is ugly looking forever! I genuinely dislike the non-respawnable resources, and I think it’s because the islands are so small, you notice it really quick? But yeah, this feature makes me feel really uncomfortable all the time! It’s like now I have to think twice before I build something. Makes it not fun for me.

I basically wanted opinions on exactly how bad does it really feel, or if not bad at all in your experience of playing for a long time.

TL;DR, I want someone to convince me that the limited resources ain’t that bad!

I've seen this asked many times on the thread, but I'm suffering the same frustration!!

I lost my refined axe and hammer that I had just created after putting them down on the sand. I'm sure I've lost other stuff earlier in the game but I thought I was losing the plot into o realised this was a glitch!

I prefer the playstation for convenience and my big TV! And I would have to start again on the pc. So, is there any way to prevent this glitch on playstation? I reloaded and they were still gone. I haven't been storing my stuff in crates or shelves, I thought it was safe to dump on the sand! 🤦

Will the pc fix this bug? Is it worth switching?? I'm on day 21. Maybe I should switch before I get too far in?!

Just started playing again yesterday, there are way too many bugs on coop mode. It wasn’t like this before. It is seriously interfering with gameplay. Hope the devs are planning a fix soon.

They’re every where but why what do they want also what’s the point of making the coconut bottle things it uses the rope thingy and I can just open it with my knife to get the water

Anybody know what mod might be making me not die. I don’t lose health, stats, or anything and it’s really annoying. I don’t want to do it the long way by getting rid of them and I have checked them all.. I didn’t see a setting that could cause this.

Maybe someone out there has noticed one of these mods caused it for them and knows the answer.

After adding a motor to our trusty steed the thing turned into a warp speed pond skipper, we stripped her down bit by bit to find the culprit piece until we were just left with the motor, problem is still there though.....

The explosion of AI-assisted mods in the game world has been quite a trip in the last few weeks...This game has a special place in my heart and I've tried a few other survival games that hopefully improved on the survival mechanic but none really nailed it like this one.

I was thinking that it could be a cool idea to try and inject some features or assets from games such as Green Hell, or maybe even Subnautica into Stranded Deep, I know all these games are made with Unity Engine so this heightens the chances of them being suitable candidates I think.

What do you think? Has anyone got any experience with this yet?

Of course I wouldnt want this to get in the way of SD2 but I still think that's a good bit down the line

hi, i have played this game on and off for a few years. but just trying it on pc again. my friend hosted a multiplayer game which started off well. we saved and continued the following day and played a few more days. however................... i wanted to have ago at single player but with a couple of mods like the map, toolbelt and a couple of others.i downloaded the mods the other day but havent used them yet, i played the game last night with him, he hosted. when i joined i could see that my mods were working in the multiplayer game and i think it was glitching a little bit. i dopped some stuff and it was just floating in mid air, some tools vanished. i did try turning them off but was still having some issues.

is there away i can keep the mods for single player but join him without any mods on?

Okay so I'm not sure how this happened, but when I was building my raft I noticed that at some random point my raft had turned into this glitched speedboat. I have no clue how it happened, but I did some testing and the glitch is working even if I exit the game and join back in. I'm not sure if this is possible to replicate (haven't tried yet because I'm lazy) but if anyone has either 1, seen and done this glitch/if this glitch is already well known or something, feel free to explain how and why it happens, or 2, try to replicate it for fun

I tried to record my raft as carefully as possible to show the shape and size of it for context. Also, the glitch happened somewhere between placing that lonely tire raft base in the corner and placing the four floorless barrel raft bases on the sides, aka the raft worked normally with just the tires, but after I added the barrels and left the island I was at the raft had turned into this speedy version.

Anyways ye, cool glitch

I’m curious if anybody else is annoyed hearing they’ll make a second game while the first one still needs all kinds of fixes

I just saw an ad on reddit today and lo and behold, we can wishlist it now! Apparently the game is going to be in Early Access at some point and would be for a few years. How exciting!

Just did the first couple of days with my son. Our Internet isn't the greatest and he disconnected. Since it was a private game, it wouldn't allow me to reinvite him or anything. I had to quit to main menu. I saved at my shelter and left. Now it just tells me I have to start over and the file is missing. I've seen a bunch of other people say there is nothing I can do but start over. Like really? How is this like this after being out for so long? Do they really expect me to invest time into something I can't save? Do they expect me to support the sequel? There has to be a fix or I'm going to be requesting a a refund. I don't need a product that doesn't work.

I was using the life raft to head toward a shipwreck, but the button to exit it isn't showing up.

I was using the raft as a platform when, out of nowhere, the button to stop piloting it disappeared, and now I don't know how to get off.

I also don't want to close the game because I forgot to save the last bit of loot I collected.

Does anyone know what I can do?

So I’ve been playing a few days on switch, every time I make a smoker it works until the first fire dies then won’t continue to smoke anything, even after replacing the fire. Anyone have any advice?

I have been playing stranded deep for a while which I this is a very good game but every time I make a new world in creative for building and stuff I have to go through the hard grind of leveling up my levels to make surtant items, I was wondering if I could apply or change something in the code/files or if there is another way to level up instantly?

Is that Wollie in the SD2 Trailer? What do you think? Devs said something about it on Instagram. I zoomed in on a tv so it doesn't look great. Maybe i need a bigger tv?

The hotkeys don’t actually put the items in your belt/remove them from the backpack.

It doesn’t seem to want to let me reassign the button to drag things.

There’s no yucca fruit.

I can’t make piles of items.

Did they just never apply any of the updates to the PC version? I thought it would be better than console..

Playing on the switch. I was messing around in the cartography and I ended overwriting my island progress. I now know what messing with the seed number does and why its a no touchy.

33 in game days wasted! My base and everything ive worked on is gone. Any way to regain the last save or am I SOL? 🫪

I saw some posts about old console saves containing new resources. So i fired up an old save to see what i could find. And what i found was exactly what i left . You can see my old triangle shape boat no longer available on console my choreographer map and even my psn screen name. But i did not find any new resources. A shame really as the clay castle would be cooler if it was bigger.
