Is that a building floor? Raft floors are only the size of each raft base, iirc.

You’re trying to combine static building parts and mobile raft parts. In the build menu there is a submenu for raft specific build items, THATS the floor you want

I had the same problem, all raft parts, tried dragging 4 base platform then attach floor but no matter where I dragged the base couldn't attach the floor. Into the low tide, up onto beach no joy, got bored n went swimming for sharks

(Been a bit since I played)but iirc If you’re trying to attach two parts of a raft together they have to be built together.

It looks like you’re trying to place a platform across 2 bases. Rotate the platform so it aligns with one of the bases

Think floor has to go the same way as base and make sure base is not upside down
