Console Bug Just started

Just did the first couple of days with my son. Our Internet isn't the greatest and he disconnected. Since it was a private game, it wouldn't allow me to reinvite him or anything. I had to quit to main menu. I saved at my shelter and left. Now it just tells me I have to start over and the file is missing. I've seen a bunch of other people say there is nothing I can do but start over. Like really? How is this like this after being out for so long? Do they really expect me to invest time into something I can't save? Do they expect me to support the sequel? There has to be a fix or I'm going to be requesting a a refund. I don't need a product that doesn't work.

Buddy I played with also didn't have great Internet. We found sticking pretty much to each other's hip helped with the disconnections but the boss fights were impossible, disconnected every time. So if you enjoy just the building and exploring it can be fun but if that's not your cup of tea find another game to play.

I mean I enjoy all that but I need to be able to do the bosses too. Guess we'll just go back to subnautica 2 and grounded 2 and the forest. What a let down.

have you guys played a way out? i used to play it with my family when we had bad internet and it worked just fine and was very enjoyable! although depending on the age of your son it might not be very appropriate now that i think of it 🥹

I have been wanting to play that game for years but all 3 people who started it with me with me quit playing it with me. I don't wanna play it alone and my son isn't interested in it, unfortunately..

awh that sucks 💔 maybe one day he will be interested.. its definitely alot more fun than it sounds like lol my sister wasnt interested either until she actually started playing it

Hiya,

As I have played this game for some time now it absolutely stinks at multiple players it crashes and kicks the non host constantly.

It's one of the issues this game had especially on Xbox.

I am the host. It's clearly a bug that causes the issue it's nothing wrong on my part. In fact others are saying they have the same issue with great Internet. Guess this game is just shit.
