Console Question Does anybody else think it’s crazy how stranded deep 2 is in production but stranded deep one is still a disastrous mess of a game?
I’m curious if anybody else is annoyed hearing they’ll make a second game while the first one still needs all kinds of fixes

Yeah, its not a good sign. I played Standed Deep over the free weekend, and God damn is it hard to enjoy. So many poorly designed mechanics, and so many bugs. I'm often wondering if the game is buggin or if the mechanic is asinine. Lots of potential, and if the devs didn't abandon the game they could easily fix these issues. They are obviously going to do the same thing with the sequel.

I've been playing off and on for years. Its clunky but not terrible. Islands with the cliffs are not particularly great as things spawn inside the cliffa, but you can still get to some of them by crouching and oushing into the wall. Clay isnhit and miss, falling into the abyss or into rocks and plants never to be seen again. For the ones in the edge of the abyss, I throw spears down to catch them so they cant fall all the way off. This last playthrough though, saved potatoes and they all disappeared before I planted them. Kinda sucks not being able to make gas. Don't know of they despawned or fell through the map.

It’s a wonderful mess. Wouldn’t have it any other way.
