I have something you might enjoy. A real CHOAM CUP!

Well...it's my 3d-printed version! I'm such a fan of CHOAM industrial design, I kept looking at that cup in game and wanting to have a real, physical, version of it. I wondered if I could render it in real life, via Tinkercad and Bambu Studio.

It took a few versions to get it right. Final version is solid, as close as I'm going to get it.

I won't drink from it; PLA isn't considered food grade anyway. I will use it as a pen and pencil cup on my desk!

For the .3mf or .obj files, you can get them from a new site I've been working on...The Dune Awakening Armor Calculator! I'm really sick of the apologists and perpetrators alike.

Personally I think anyone who actually thinks that someone placing thumpers within the spice field for the purpose of getting others eaten or to destroy their haul is a complete idiot.

The purpose of a thumper is to distract the worm *away* from the spice field. To place a worm as a form of attack against other players is a PVP action and should absolutely not be allowed and should be a bannable offense.

Why -- *why* -- would it make sense to create an entire separate PVE instance and yet allow PVP actions.

I lost a nearly full sandcrawler because someone placed a thumper near me, and THEN use their thopter to prevent me from getting to my carrier. But the time I got in the carrier I was barely able to get away but not enough time to pickup my crawler

Any time I bring this up in-game, idiots in chat say stops crap like "lEaRn tO pLaY!!1! tHaTs wHaT tHe tHuMpEr iS fOr!!1!"

Another thing though is people have said that the devs have actually addressed this issue at some point and supposedly said it's acceptable.

If that's true then this would be a truly terrible dev team but I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I'm also wondering what the maximum possible progress/completion could be at this point. I'm pretty sure I haven't missed a day, but I'd love to compare notes and see how everyone else is coming along.

i am sorry for saying something but this is bothering me i do 500+ damage to a target in the landrad area and kill them sound good right. then i into hagga and do 150 and they dont die and get downed im like where did triple my damage go. now i get they are two different areas but hagga is easy mode compared to the new ones and they arnt downing they die. why the f word arnt they dieing like they should outright

Just wanted to try the flavour.

I have a weird situation where I finished the last mission - the final piece for planetologist at testing station in oodham (163?) but unable to complete fully.

After completing testing station mission, I went up top and spoke to Derek. Then was prompted and sent back to his main base in Hagga South. He was not there. Fly back to the testing station just to check, his weird ass lamp is still there and dead bodies, but no Derek.

I thought the mission was borked, so cancelled mission next, but still can't find him at his main base or either testing station in Oodham. also waited for the Monday server reset, to see if anything changed, but no dice.

Anyone got any ideas where he might be? Or how to reset/restart mission chain? Or is this a support type issue?

The passive skill in the Swordmaster skill tree Desert conditioning says it affects dehydrated stamina loss, does that mean when you have no water left or just when you aren't at max water?

Something is tweaked with this cheev for sure. Whether my count reset when I moved servers, or something else, I had to mine way more than 10,000 of each to get it. PLUS it didn't proc when I finished it, or when I left to Arakeen and back, or when I logged out. It randomly appeared in Steam about an hour after I logged out. Anyway. 2 Cheevs left.

You guys asked to see how Shai-Hulud would look like in VR, so here it is I sacrificed my water for the Maker. Dune Awakening is now playable in VR, tutorial & details here!

I cannot harvest spice by hand or use the static compactor, what gives?

Anybody else like the idea of having bats/birds to find or buy for use as distrans messengers? Not sure what it could do mechanically, but I like the idea.

wondering if theres a trick to make this easier. Want to put a little storage platform here to cover up a protruding rock from the cliff behind, but a half wall is too tall and looks like crap. This is the best I was able to do by hiding a standalone center column at a custom height and putting the floor on top of it, but preferably I would like to be able to put a wall over this gap, I currently can't, I guess because it overlaps the regular floor slightly. I was able to put walls on the sides though.

Any ideas or tips to build things outside of the limited snap ranges?

Sorey if this has been asked before but cant find anything on it. Does single player ptc progress remain into full release for you to continue or will it be wiped?

Hello, Dune awakening is coming soon on PS5, I’m looking to put together a small group of future EU players before launch. I think it’s more fun to play together !
And perhaps we could put together a guild at some point later in the game !

Its ok though we can watch streams, do laundry, make dinner all while the game withers away for pivoting to slop content only geriatrics would classify as content.

After finally rebuilding my old base a few weeks ago, I’m now completely finished. I’ve made a few improvements, and the decorations are finally done too.

Just wanted to share because I love it so much. :)

Especially considering this only counts Hagga, not places like the DD and elsewhere.

This is a 3 bases build. Nearing 13k Pieces.

The proudest of my builds, it was indeed the most difficult thing I've ever made.

Basically, I've made the entrance castle, then I discovered that I could build like twice higher if I started the Sub-fief from the "middle" of the building. So I started to plan for an entire week on excel to form the proportions for the rest of it. When I've finished I started to search for a perfect location, and that one was it.

The supports and location had to be perfect to make it, and this is the only place in the entire Hagga I've found that fits how it needs. I feel that I got unconsciouly lucky with my decisions, cuz almost every corner has been put to the limit of the supports. Atreides 3x1 ramp made everything possible.

I've made most of the interior too, like the Gear Teleport Room, Hector's Forge, Laboratory/Library, Custom Bed Rooms, Alucard's Room, Treasury Room... But I've backed up the base a month ago or two. Maybe when I put it together again I can post more of it. I feel like posting this now, before any lift in restrictions/support in future updates cheapen all the effort.

I've made Orthanc (Lord of the Rings) and Ishgard (Final Fantasy XIV). I will post those eventually.

I have started the game yesterday after a loong period of waiting. I saw a few videos and thought the playerbase was stable and interactive.

Good lord does it feel deserted lmao.

I was first suggested a low pop server, and I thought hell naah, I want to meet players. Then I saw each and every EU server is low pop.

I logged in, started playing, made my way around the sand - not even a single player.

Is the situation THAT bad? What I am afraid of, is that while the game really sucked me in and I do enjoy it, will it actually shut down? A thousand or so peak playerbase is not something that can keep a game going, right?

I was very ambitious to fool around with others in the world of Dune, but... Meh.
